Hi brothers, I recently converted my phone from c185 ( middle East ) to c432 ( Europe ) and it's b170 now... I want to know that can I directly update it to b560 or I have to upgrade to some other version first..??
I have done quite a bit of reading on this subject and it appears that you can update from b170 to b560 with out any issue as long as you follow the official instructions step by step to perform the update. I have seen several successful updates from b170 to b550/b560. I've also seen updates from b170/b200 to b550/b560. Make sure you do your research first and read, read, read. Check out this thread:

Check out post #71. This user updated from b170 to b560 and had to perform a factory reset after the update. Hope this helps.

And did you subscribe for beta tester?

There is a folder called DLOAD in its internal memory or SD card , 'll be inside this folder the update pack , there just upload on a website of your choice
I tried to find it after upgrading it wasn't there why?

A friend of mine has a P7 with L10V100R001C00B133SP01, so quite old.
She asked me to update to a more recent firmware and I found HUAWEI_P7-L10_Firmware_Andriod 5.1.1_EMUI 3.1_C900B830_Germany_Spain_Italy_Belgium_Netherlands_Portugal_Channel-Others.zip
But I'm unsure if I could directly update from B133 to B830 ?

There is B852 that is better if the phone's cust number is 432 Flash B852

No problem should happen if you Flash B852 Full version , here is the link:

Direct upgrade is possible ? I've read B133 came with an old EMUI and moving to 5.1.1 make keyboard disapears for example.

a friend of mine bought a P9+ with C02. She realized that the second Sim isn't recognized and I guess it's deactivated by the firmware. So I'm planning to switch to C432.
Can anyone confirm that this problem should be solved then?
Also is there another way than a complete wipe and install using twrp or similar? I haven't installed a custom ROM on a Huawei device yet. I just did it with Samsung and Sony devices.

I think only Chinese ROMs support dual SIM, so I don't think C423 will gain you anything other than debranding. (Make sure you research properly as this is not just a matter of flashing over the ROM you have currently)

No support, only L19 and L29 have dualsim.

Today I open app firmware finder got newest update for l29636b320(I think it is office one?!) and I downloaded it try to update but failed I tried two times already both failed at 25%. Anyone knows what is wrong?Or did I do something wrong?

It's the same, only Beta version. I use it as a daily build and it works without problems.

Yep you should try nougat (B320) soon. Haven't experienced any problem with BT, GPS and dual sim since I updated more than a month ago. GPS is quite good, I use waze and uber everytime and BT on a daily basis for transferring some photos and connecting to BT speakers.
