Hey xda!
If you have problems with video recording here is a patch to get it working in cm 11
You have just to flash it in recovery but please before doing anything make a nandroid backup
Unfortunately the resolution is 320x240.
Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/09zsgo2zltit4eg/VideoRecordingPatch.zip
Source code of the patch: https://gist.github.com/Mm7/14cf84296dc2f5b78f41
I hope this can help.

EDIT: Now this fix is included in androidarmv6's builds, you no longer have to flash this
Thanks man.but these files you uploaded exist in cm11 roms that i have downloaded before.is there any diference between them?

Sir could you please let me know whether it will work on omni rom too
Btw my device is not 10.1 n8000
Thank you, good day
I've just proposed this patch to androidarmv6 team. Whether it will be merged will be included in the next builds. I will keep you informed
It seems that my patch is useful also for beni (galaxy fit), I'm waiting feedbacks from beni's users. If I get feedbacks (in a resonable time) I will update my patch to work also with beni and then I will merge this in androidarmv6
Sorry for delay
Patch merged. You no longer need to flash this

Gingerbread libcamera.so isn't loading in cm11, so psyke83 built it from source, which isn't colorful, no effects at all. As we don't have developers left, we are left with that colorless camera.

Ace libcamera shouldn't work. Fixing the source built libcamera is better than fixing the prebuilt one, can you provide a logcat?

Unfortunately, I can't give you logcat since i don't have cm11 built with proprietary libcamera.so(the last build with prebuilt libcam is way long back on december 2013). These are some from other users taken at that time. Camera app opened, but it's all grey.

I still think that you should try to fix source built libcamera; however if you want prebuilt one:
That bug has already been fixed (I think after gio dropped prebuilt libcamera) by this commit: https://github.com/androidarmv6/and...mmit/227e32e355603b87b9b2991517796066c1bd1f16
I think that a fresh build with prebuilt libcamera enabled is enough to get it working!
EDIT: Here's the build link -> http://jenkins.androidarmv6.org/job/cm-gerrit/2359/ Please test it and let me know!

WIP. No lazy introduction, lets skip to the main point. Xposed v87 for arm/arm64/x86 specially built for Nougat MR1 (7.1.x). Now with Magisk supports. First and original unofficial WIP version.
Generic version, maybe not compatible with Samsung or special ART. Tested on Sony Xperia XZ F8332 and should be working on AOSP/Lineage/Lineage-based ROM
UNSTABLE

Install instruction:
Code:
-Disable SELinux or set it as permissive (non Magisk user)
-Flash with TWRP or CWM (who using this these day?)
-Wipe dalvik and cache
-Reboot
-The 1st boot maybe stuck in bootloop. In that case you should force power off and try to boot again. The 2nd boot will work
-Install the Marshmallow Xposed apk (yes its working) to manage your Xposed.
Issues:
Code:
-Initial release. Bugs falling from the sky...
-Xposed modules that change resources will fail.
Wait for proper updates for both framework and modules.

No. But I will do, shortly. Backup first
Ummm.......Why is Rovo not involved in this? Not seeing his name even mentioned here makes me feel Suspicious about this.
Also, seems suspicious given there was just information released saying Xposed compatibility for Nougat would need to be baked in at the ROM build stage (by Devs).....No mention to that here either.
Kinda want more confirmation/information.
Tried it on AOSPA 7.2.0 on the Nextbit Robin and I get a crash on boot for com.quicinc.cne.cneservice and then it reboots again infinitely

It isnt equal to just credit Rovo89 alone, Xposed is an open source project and many devs contributed to it. So in credit I said to "all devs working on Xposed". Yes Rovo89 created Xposed, but without any helps he coudnt do it alone....
But sure, I will credit him just to be happy

It's based on modified code by abforce which is based on Rovo's original code. You can see here for the differences between abforce's and Rovo's (not sure about OPs though) https://github.com/abforce/xposed_art_n/commit/1d14337b858cabd184335804b178f16849186f89

I just tested it for herolte, RR, not the new tree. It successfully boots up, I will report if I find any other issue. Thanks for the kernel.
Wowowowowow another one for aosp roms, now with wakelocks and voltage control! Flashing aokp right now (no substratum issues) will report back on how it goes after a few cycles
Tested on RR build 07/18 and working fine.
But there is no option for led fading!
Good work?
Missing quite a few CPU governors
Installed on RR (7/29) and doesnt seem to boot.

Does enforcing mode work with this kernel? If not, are planning to implement it?
It was a short period of time but I can see the SOT is fine with normal usage (streaming, gaming, browsing). I just dont know why aosp kernels on s7/edge hate facebook app so much that the big cluster maxes out its frequency, resulting in an overheating and massive drain when using fb app and would require a reboot to get it back to lower frequencies.
A few more optimizations then this would be a better kernel than the ones included in rom.zips

It very depended on kernel, i/o scheduler, governor,...
Our phone have Intel "Atom" processor, so speed and stability would not cause us worried. The thing we should pay attention is battery. Because Intel CPUs are battery hungry.

Hi,
Are you talking about 14.1 or 15.1?
If it's 14.1, why not release a build here so that people can test & give you feedback, regardless of official or unofficial status?
Also, I have been in this community for a long time but I've never come across a bug in the flash. What bug was it, which you fixed in the device trees?

Hi all.
Compatibility:
Builds starting with r1 work with MIUI and custom roms based on LineageOS.
Don't flash on beta MIUI Pie, WiFi won't work most likely.
Download:
From my webserver choose the Kernel with the most recent version number. Older releases for older Android versions are in the parent directory:
MIUI and custom roms: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603890260
or from my Updater app. It's just easier and more convenient:

Installation:
Flash the zip in your recovery
or
Auto-flash from FK Kernel Manager app, it's magical
