13th Jan is not the release date of global ROM as it is only for China.
YUREKA too is launching on 13th January but with Kit Kat not ICS

Chinese rom is the best cuz have few more apps, don't have other asian langs present in "global" and takes less space on our phones memory I hope miui v6 will fix an SD card problem cuz even with folder mount there is still not enough memory for only few apps

will support the multilanguages...............

Global is NOT multilang there are only asian languages who the hell need them

Full ROM 5.1.16 is out, and first OTA Update 5.1.20 is out too. After this update, battery displaing supposedly correct. I am installed successfully with TWRP 2.8.2.0!
5.1.21 full ROM but link will be closed shortly...

How many changelog would be? Like on mi 3 last year, how many were there again?

The beta rom? Yes ofcourse, rooted, and installed TWRP (custom recovery, i use that). We flash the rom with TWRP. After that, the update can be either OTA file or another full beta rom. OTA package can be installed via Updater app

when I try to install the beta versions on my note, I receive this error: this package is for "lcsh92_wet_jb9'' devices; this is a "minote"
the device is rooted and has TWRP installed and currently I am using the Unofficial Stable Multilanguage WCDMA MIUI v5 39.0.0
any idea?

solve it,
I restore stock miui via sp flash tool and now I got the miui 6 beta version
in fem minutes that I check it, runs smootly, but I couldn't set APN to have 3G, did anybody encountered same issue?

Same error "this package is for Icsh 92_wet_jb9" might be unofficial miui v5 but not sure help to update to miui 6 plzz

Hello guys,
I own a two weeks Xiaomi mi 5 from EU site.
I notice that while mobile is under full signal LTE / 3g / 2g it doesn't matter, incoming calls do not work from time to time. Outcoming calls, work perfect.

HI,
After update to stable Stable 7.3.5.0 (MAAMID), even iam facing this problem.
But seems to be intermittent problem.
However for sure something is broken in new update.
Hope it will be fix in the next version.

I've the same problem with the latest xiaomi.eu dev rom.
Have you found any solution?

I didn't but I intend to.
My phone came with Xiaomi EU ROM with locked bootloader. I hadn't this problem at that time. Then I unlocked bootloader and installed official global dev ROM, and started having this problem. The incoming calls are not what bothers me, its the incoming SMS. Sometimes I receive SMSs 6 hours after they were sent.
I will try to install TWRP and latest Xiaomi Stable today. Then I can give some feedback here.

I have installed Xiaomi EU stable V 7.3.4.0 and all the problems are gone. Have you tried this version?

Yeah as long as this is for sd435.Also,can you confirm if the codename of Redmi 4 released in India is Santoni since I think you've the device?
This is really confusing decision by Xioami,they abandoned prada(Redmi 4 in China).

Yeah its actually called redmi 4 here but the processor is qualcom SD 435 2 gb ram 16 which is of redmi 4x so the 4x is called 4 here

Well,AFAIK there is not a single custom rom for santoni as of now,I'd be better off buying redmi note 4(mido).

Hello, is it possible to flash the baseband from Xiaomi Redmi 4X with band 20 (global variant?) to other Xiaomi Redmi 4X with 3MB 32GB as root with any tool to get band 20 ?
Or is it possible with "fastboot flash modem xyz" too ? But then the modem file must be existing separately ?

why 4x santoni doesn't have sub forum here?
4x have custom recovery but not much choice of custom rom, all i find from googling only lineage 13 and mokee, no other rom like ressurection remix, aosp, etc. hopefully will be more custom rom for redmi 4x in xda and not from other link

It works fine and even seems now be more smooth and has bit more free ram.
But if I will download from MIUI later a next official ROM (stable global ZIP) and flash it with "Method 1: System Update" (from here http://en.miui.com/a-232.html), will that update method still work now ? And what will be the result ? Have I bring twrp newly on the device then or root ?

I have the same Q, I like MIUI rom, but the thing with notifications makes me think about android nougat every day....and I donna wanna to install lineage 13 or mokee, its android 6

If you use the system update method in the page, it should work without any issues if you are using full ROM zip. But I guess it won't install Nightly builds.
After installing the full ROM image, you don't need to clear any data but you WILL LOSE ROOT ACCESS. You have to re-root after every system update.
Another thing, if you are using TWRP recovery to flash the system update, it will warn you that the system update will automatically flash stock recovery. So select the option to disable recovery flash. Otherwise, after system update you will again have MiRecovery.
If you are already using MiRecovery, then you don't need to worry about anything.
Hope I cleared your doubt.

Is it possible to install ROM in .zip format without TWRP than through the factory console?
for example, by placing the .zip file in a file manager and from regular updating options. tap on three points, select .zip and install. Normally it means unlocking the device or maybe not?

I got 2 question.
First, I'm using Indian Variant (12mpx), still not got the last 10.2.10.0
If I manually update using the feature "choose update package", will everything be wiped away from my device? Like tapping on MIUI update screen to unlock update package.
Second, Is there any way to use Global ROM, or Chinese ROM on this Indian Variant device?

Yeah, no problem with that. You can install any of the ROMs from the OP for the Redmi Note 7, they are fully compatible.

Package verifying failed for me. I am on the 10.2.3.0 stabil actually.
Then i choosed the correct EEA stable rom (PFGEUXM), but now i got the message that it is a beta version and I have to be authorized in the Mi Account...
