My girlfriend changed her password one nite when we were doing a little drinking. She can't remember what she changed it to, and it's not written down. Is there a way to get it to a "forgot password screen"? Or reset it from lock screen?
Power off the device by holding the Power button and pressing "Power Off."
Now boot into Recovery mode by holding Power+Volume Up+Home together at the same time until you see "Recovery Booting" in blue at the top left of the screen, then let go.
Wait a few seconds until you see a screen something like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now use the Volume Up and Down buttons to select "Wipe Data/Factory Reset." Now press the Power button to select. Using this same method, select and press "Yes." Your tablet's data will be wiped. After that, use the Volume/Power method to select and press "reboot system now" which should be the first option.
Thanks
Duh! I should have thought of that. Thank you for the reminder
What if that dont work?? Only options I seem to have is adb sideload or update from sd card??

Help me please
Have you installed a recovery?
To check this, hold down both volume +/- buttons and power button as well. The screen will go black (phone restarting). As soon as the screen goes black, release the power and volume + buttons but keep volume - down. This will take you to stock recovery. Go down to 'recovery' and if you have installed a recovery it will take you there and I would do a factory reset and see if your phone starts.. If you haven't installed a recovery, carry on reading...
Are you familiar with fastboot? If you haven't installed a recovery then you can use fastboot to install one from here. You will need the relevant drivers, recovery img to proceed. I would recomend starting from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1974097.
After you have installed the recovery, do a factory reset and see if this gets your phone working again. Good luck!
Just a guess, but incase you also tried to remove the "Bootloader Unlocked" message like me yesterday:
This should help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2310012
Thanks all, after milions time press power anh vol -. I have to get the fastboot screen and flash the phone. Now it normaly.
Hi friends i got a samsung galaxy s advance from my uncle from some part in the world..

}
and when i try with vol(+), home and power button the above same is coming.
but when i try with vol(-), home and power buttton that odin part is coming..
so please help me recover me from this problem.
It seems that you can access Download mode (Volume Down + Home + Power)... so all you have to do is download a proper Gingerbread or Jellybean firmware for your phone and flash it using Odin... I think that should fix your problem..
OR if you can access Recovery Mode (Vol Up + Home + Power) then wait for it to load and then perform a Factory reset and wipe all the data, cache, etc. Because that looks more like a software or a driver issue to me...

send it to repair!
loooooong press on power button until the watch restart.
at LG logo, swipe from top left to bottom right -> you are now in bootloader mode ... choose recovery, click, factory reset .... enjoy.
And stop using weird watchmaker faces
I also tried that, but the situation remains the same.
Then, maybe you are bound to request an exchange.
You can actually try one more thing. Maybe you have corrupted data on your system partition. You should try flashing the 5.01 image directly in the watch. If you can reach bootloader moder and recovery, then you should be able to do that with adb commands.
There is a topic describing the steps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-watch-r/development/manual-ota-update-root-t2969845
problem is now only accessible whenever and select fastboot recovery screen freeze it so. I am now a deadlock here. k it made me get into recovery.
It looks like you have a defective unit. You should really try to change it.

I need help getting the Advanced Power Menu to work. I flashed the xposed-v78-sdk21-arm with TWRP and installed the XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4 app. In Xposed framework, it says that version 78 is active in green letters. I downloaded and installed version 17.12 of the Advanced Power Menu+ (APM+) and this version is stable. In Settings, Versions to be shown is set to Global. I rebooted and long-pressed the power button but did not notice anything different about the menu. I have the module for APM+ checked and when I click on APM+, it'll take me to its Menu Items. It says:

I tried hitting Retry, rebooting, hitting Reset, etc. I just can't get the Advanced Power Menu to work.

You should ask in the APM+ thread instead of the Xposed General section. Another hint: adding a log file can also be helpful.
