Hi. A couple of days ago i bought a Zuk Z1 device from china with ZUI Rom. I installed on it Cyanogenmod 13 and it seems that everything was a succes, but the day after when i rebooted my device i noticed that it went in bootloop. I tried solving this problem through recovery mode but the ZUK Recovery has only three options: "reboot" "install update package" and "Power off". Wipe options are absent. Ovviously i tried solving this problem with pc through adb and fastboot but i failed becouse my pc find the device only as MTP. Someone has a good solution for this problem? Sorry for my bad english but i am from italy and this is the first forum in wich i subscribe. THANKS.

So first of all how did you install cm if not running a custom recovery?
I suppose you have not unlocked boot loader, please first do that, copy the stuff from phone to pc because it will erase the internal storage.
Drivers For Fastboot and ADB. (https://mega.nz/#!8J0UwRDD!NOZ2LJleCJNpAU2Lz8QBGLvEhprhIFGHs_SX7-nIx-4)
Use this tool to unlock bootloader (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591020540824800)
Install The TWRP 3.0.2-0 Recovery from the same tool [option in advanced menu] (https://dl.twrp.me/Z1/twrp-3.0.2-0-Z1.img)
Now boot in Recovery, by pressing Vol+ + Vol- + Power until 1 sec passes from ZUK Logo.
You will now see the TWRP Splash screen.
Now copy your CM13 rom and gapps from pc to phone
Now Wipe System, Data, Dalvik-Cache and Cache.
Install CM13 and then gapps and boot up.
Try this and you may boot up your phone, if you don't want to unlock boot loader try going to service centre for repair

Mate, you might wanna try flashing something with QFIL Tool.
This thread explains flashing ZUI with it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z1/development/how-to-flash-zuk-z1-zui-version-t3265741
When you're done setting up the tool and the drivers suggested, the main catch is starting the download since the phone will only be in download mode for five seconds.
Anyhow just read the stuff there and try to get it done.
I'll be happy to help along.
Thanks guys i solved the problem with Qpst, reflashing the stock Zui Rom. Really thanks.

Hello everyone, I have the problem, that my 3T boots to recovery every time I boot. The system is no more booting. What I did was, "updating" in the CM about/update menu (from unofficial cm14.1 13.12. to 14.12. ).
So maybe an open recovery script was created and booted to bootloader. Update failed but I did it manually.
From now on the phone does just only boot twrp recovery (or is it a boot loop ?). I tried to restore a backup and install the oxygen os via zip and wiped all partitions (except internal storage) but nothing helps. Does anyone know this and can give me advice ? Thank a lot in advance.
Edit:
For the OnePlus One if found an error report which look a little bit my error:
The problem is suspected to stem from the "persist" partition getting corrupted during the reboot, even though CyanogenMod doesn't use this particular location. The damaged area doesn't get fixed like other partitions because a filesystem integrity check isn't ran. It's left corrupted, and even though the area isn't needed for the OS to run, the OnePlus One boot loops anyway.

But the partition layout on the 3T seems to be different, I can see only partitions like sda etc ...

I follow your recommendation thanks for your assistance I fixed my OP3T,
What a mess ... after all this I wanted to install my CM backups again, but TWRP refused to boot. I had only a black screen with a white LED when going to recovery. But now after some hours I have a solution to this. You need to update Oxygen OS before going on !!
Make a full system update or flash this update via TWRP: http://downloads.oneplus.net/oneplus-3t/oneplus_3t_oxygenos_3.5.3/
After this TWRP is booting as expected.
Now I'll enjoy a beer or two or ....
Good luck to all others. If anybody needs assistance ... contact me.
never had a issue
Please help!!!! I tried flashing the update for the latest OTA, I had the full zip. I have unlocked bootloader, twrp, phh supersu, magisk and xposed. I did a nandroid backup and then clicked Wipe- Dalvik and Cache. I then flashed the zip. For 20 mins the boot logo was spinning around, so I rebooted into twrp to see what was going on. Now I can't reboot and it shows no data, it says my device is encrypted and I can't see any files. What can I do??
Was your internal storage encrypted before ?
TWRP doesn't show your internal storage and didn't ask for a password ?
fix bootloop
Boot into your recovery [Vol+ and Power]
Connect your phone to your PC
Execute the following fastboot command on your PC (More informations on fastboot)

First make sure you are using the right version for your build.. After you install it via fastboot, from there go to the recovery menu, up, down volume. When in there wipe data.. Some say factory reset, but I wiped data which did the same thing, and now it works.

TWRP recovery not boot
Hi guys!
Just installed Android P (MIUI 10 9.1.24) on my phone. I used MiFlash method, so the previous twrp got replaced with stock recovery. So I downloaded the latest twrp for mi 8 se, version TWRP-3.2.3-1227. Now whenever I try to boot into this, TWRP gets stuck at the splash screen & nothing else happens. Am I doing something wrong? Any help?
Well, just solved this issue. It is caused by that infamous encryption issue. Basically you have to decrypt your phone before flashing TWRP.
I followed this tutorial: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/fix-twrp-hangs-splash-screen-android-t3438262

I flashed may be 5 times ( for different tests) 9.2.15 dev version from here and TWRP 1227 was working and sticking at every trial without need to deencrypt.
https://xiaomifirmware.com/roms/download-official-miui-roms-for-xiaomi-mi-8-se/
In my view this issue is more related to the rom version 9.1.24 I didn't tested.
Anyway thanks OP for reporting.

I would like to apologize for statement given in my last post.
I want to make things corrected and thank you for the light you gave me.
Sure it is related to bad deencryption because with 9.2.15 official rom was possible to install TWRP but we were several unable to boot any other rom after installation. We were rejected to fastboot screen at every trials. We found solution by flashing older official rom version.
Good night friend
I have Mi 8 SE that has been installed TWRP LR. TEAM 3.3.0 and runs well, in normal use suddenly stuck, and I immediately restarted my Mi 8 SE, and only entered fastboot and stuck mode, I tried to enter TWRP mode and even then just stuck on the TWRP logo, and when I flash again the method cannot because my Mi 8 SE has no USB Debuging, and only the CMD notification appears "FAILED (remote: Check device console.)",
help me to be able to fix my Mi 8 SE ,,
Thank you so much for your help

Not clear enough your explanation!
"flash again" What is it?
Do you access fastboot and access on your computer?
if yes, you must flash a fastboot rom via miflash in order to reset the phone.
Yeah, I'm not feeling very smart right now.
Short story:
Accidentally wiped OS in TWRP, now only seem to have access to fastboot. Can I fix this? Flash another ROM? Anything? Bootloader is unlocked, can't seem to get into TWRP anymore. Power + Volume up only takes me to fastboot again.
Long story:
Magisk module caused a bootloop. Wanting to try and avoid a factory reset, I tried sideloading Magisk for TWRP which didn't work, ultimately gave up and wanted to perform a factory reset via TWRP, but I've been working late and ticked the wrong box without thinking. Bad idea, I know. Wiped system, yes.
Aside from feeling exceptionally stupid, can this situation be salvaged? The phone doesn't switch off, it just sits in fastboot. I have Minimal ADB and Fastboot on my PC. Any help will be greatly appreciated, really.
Just in case anyone else ends up with a similar problem, the resolution was fortunately rather straightforward - I needed to grab the Mi Flash tool (as it turns out, this version worked best), stock firmware for my version, go into fastboot (which was no issue as that was the only thing my phone would do) and then open the Mi Flash tool and flashing the firmware was pretty straightforward from there. I even managed to get a BSOD during the process, but it's not like it could get any worse, anyway. Rebooted, restarted the process and about 10-15 minutes later, my phone was happily booting again.

With Fastboot mode and Mi flash as fail safes , we can flash to our hears content with no worries !
Also a more automated tool is a custom mi flash tool by a developer called XiaimiToolV2 ,which has a dedicated mode for bricked phones or downloads the latest fastboot roms for you.

I had excaxtly that witha my mi5 , completely dead .
Leave it on the charger for a little bit, mine after an unsuccessful flash with mi flash (catastrophic error message) it turned back on.
IF not download XiaomiTool V2 and try the option for bricked phones.
I tried that yesterday but that option is still in development. Only the modifications one is supported currently. As for the issue mentioned, maybe it's really just a matter of charging the phone first. Can't hurt either way.

Try to use the EDL mode
How to force it to EDL by key combination or maybe deep flash cable ?
My Mi account is authorized for EDL flash but I cant get Mi9 into EDL mode on my PC ( Windows10 )
No OS, but working TWRP
Hi,
I have a similar problem with my mi 9.
I followed a really bad description for the update xiaomi.eu from MIUI10 to MIUI11.
https://www.chinahandys.net/xiaomi-eu-rom-update/
It recomended to wipe alvik / Art Cache, Cache AND System :crying:
So I do not have no OS any more. However, TRWP is still working.
I have a Backup but it did not work :crying:
Is there a better option than the Mi Flash tool?
Please help me!
Since you already have TWRP, download the latest Xiaomi.eu custom ROM available for the Mi 9, which is 9.11.7 to your computer.
Also download the latest TWRP by Mauronofrio from XDA which is 3.3.1-42.
Then use adb to transfer both the ROM and TWRP to your Mi 9.
In TWRP, install TWRP first and manually reboot to twrp using the vol up + power button.
In TWRP, install the ROM, do a factory reset, then finally reboot.

Thank you very much for your reply.
When I tried to make my TWRP backup work I had several problems.
First was "vendor read only". So I went in TWRP to "mount" and unticked the "mount vendor partition read-only" (sounds easy, took me some time to find out)
Then I was able to do the restore without error message. However just boot loop and only the possibility to access TWRP.
After some while I realized that this restored the wiped system partition.
So I flashed the aktual MIUI 11 9.11.7 again and rebooted.
And it worked perfectly! :victory:
I did no Factory reset all the time, it seems that everything is perfect!
No lags, no problems with the camera, no issues with auto rotation.

Hi Guys,
yesterday I was able to unlock my Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro bootloader after waiting for 7 days. The unlock was successfull at first attempt, but now my issues begin and I couldnt find a thread where someone has similar isseues.
1. after unlocking the bootloader, I booted to fastboot mode and flashed twrp (from a greek xiaomi forum website ) after that I tried to boot into recovery. The attempt was unsuccessfull and I got the Mi-Logo Screen with the unlocked message at the bottom, after 60 sec the screen goes black and nothing happens, only fastboot mode is working.
2. flashed back to stock recovery -> the phone boots up successfully and is working.
3. Used the Miflash 2017.4.25.0 Tool to flash fastboot rom to have an untouched condition (clean all option).
4. tried to flash another twrp (from wzsx150), same behavior like in 1. explained. Flashing back stock recovery -> phone boots and is working.
5. again used Miflash to have an untouched condition, tried another twrp (By mauronofrio)
5. same behaviour like in 1. explained...
I actually got a Mi 8 Pro and it was so easy for me to flash twrp (also unoffical builds like now for the 9t pro). Switching to different intel laptops with win7 or win10 didnt solve the problem. Changing USB Type C cabels also didnt help
Can someone explain why I'm not getting things to work, as there are already other members which did it successfully...
Try this...
1. flash TWRP
2. Reboot directly from fastboot into TWRP with volume + and power button
3. Flash TWRP.img with TWRP
Problem solved
Kollachi, thanks for the suggestion but didnt work either.
I found a solution by myself I ordered the xiaomi from amazon DE and it was shipped with global stable, why not EEA? I always used the global stable fastboot rom to start from zero, like mentioned, without success.
The solution was flash eea fastboot rom -> twrp installation worked at first attempt and still works! Interesting that this helped me to solve this..
