I've been using tasker since 3.1.3 to customize the alert slider to my needs. I set up the following modes and actions:
- all: all notifications with sound + vibration
- priority: all notifications silent + vibration
- none: airplane mode (with xposed and airplane mode helper)
This worked perfectly with all versions including 3.2.1, on 3.2.2 it stopped working.
I'm not sure if it's an OS problem or a tasker problem, but something with the interrupt modes seems to be wrong.
I've set up a simple action in tasker to flash the active interrupt mode.
On 3.2.1 the modes are all - priority - none, just as they should be.
On 3.2.2 tasker shows the interrupt modes all - priority - priority, which ,eans that there is noi difference between the middle and the upper setting of the slider.
I already posted this on the oneplus homepage and in the oneplus 3 forum here. Am I the only one with this issue?

I have a few profiles set up related to brightness.
Home - Auto off, Brightness to 10
Album-Auto on
Camera- Auto off, Brightness to 255
But these don't seem to work after update, when i enter camera it flickers for a few seconds with brightness going up and down but then it stays on the level it was before entering the app.
And when i exit camera, the brightness is turned to full.
I ran log it didn't show any error as such.
I do not have a exit task specified for any of the above tasks.
I've posted this on the tasker google group but couldn't find a solution so posting it here.

Dear OnePlus,
We, OnePlus 3/3T users, have been discusing regarding software matters and an agreement has been put in place. We would like some features to be implemented for upcoming updates so that we could get the best out of our devices – as well as getting more stability on Nougat and also a better battery performance.
Our requests are as follows:
- White balance on videos.
- Scene settings (night, sunset…) in auto mode – it could help those who aren’t familiar with manual mode.
- Flash mode for the front camera – the screen should flash while taking a picture.
- Ability to pause a video and keep on recording afterwards.
- Slow motion with sound, and the ability to pick up what part you want it to be played on slow motion.
- Speed settings in Time-lapse.
- While activating the camera with a shortcut on a predefined button, it should directly shoot a picture.
- Ability to choose megapixel values on the camera app.
- Camera improvements in general, such as stabilization.
- Battery percentage inside a circle.
- Ability to choose clock position on the statusbar.
- Ability to use custom accent colours.
- Quick Settings Tiles panel should be pure black (turned off pixels), instead of grey.
- Add SIM toggle to the quick setting tiles again (it was present on Android 6.0)
- Advanced deep cleaning apps button - as we had in previous oxygen versions on Recents menu.
- More options regarding sound modes – improve alert slider options. (Perhaps add also vibration strength levels)
- Shelf improvements – more personalization, also regarding the Launcher in general.
- Activate / Deactivate mobile data on one single tap.
- Incorporate the possibility to disallow the device's powering off while being locked, somehow – increase security in some way so that it could prevent unwanted people to
perform a full wipe. Perhaps OnePlus could find a nice way to implement this idea.
- Ability to turn off notification sounds while the screen is on.
- Split volume panels.
- Ability to enable data traffic parameters on the statusbar.
- Option to either use app drawer or not.
- Add unread notifications counter on the application icons.
- Ability to set a Schedule for the Night Mode.
- Being able to choose which apps are allowed to turn on the screen in ambient display mode.
- Ability to disable the charging led.
Please, take into consideration our requests in order to make improve the community and every user experience.
Kind regards.
Cool! If we are more people, they will pay us more attention
Sended x2!
Pole and sended email.
Done! ? Thanks for the effort!!!! ?
Sent from my OnePlus 3T using XDA Labs
Cool bro. Great idea u are the man.
agree with everything:good:
I think this should be on oneplus forums rather than here
where they will atleast notice it
Or there is a Google doc they are asking customers to fill for any changes In UI.,can be filled in that too
I agree all the ideas are very good but I don't think oneplus will visit xda for these specific requests
We need 1080p, 720p video OIS too
Hi,
currently I'm on OOS 4.5.1 (with all addons as the signature says) and it's working great, but there are two things that are irritating me:
Ambient display - when a notification comes, the clock isn't displayed (to see it, I have to pick up the phone). Ambi-Turner doesn't help. The issue wasn't present on OOS 3.5.4. Is this possible to fix this, or this is a Never Settle™ feature?
DND - I set an option to automatically enable DND, when I start sleep tracking, but I feel only a short vibration, like a sign, that the setting failed (and of course, nothing happens, DND doesn't kick in). Again - how to fix this? I already granted permission to access DND setting to the app.
Forgot to mention - the app is Sleep as Android.
Any help will be appreciated.
No clock also bothers me af. But this is the intended (and dumb) behavior. Also, the red 1 is so damn annoying. Why even change what was actually good?
I had the exact same bug on the Ambient Display on 4.5.X, but it seems to be back in the Oreo OB's. Maybe it used to be a Never Settle™ feature, but I guess there was some backlash so it's back again.
Have you tried Freezing the DND App in Titanium Backup and Defrosting it? That may work.
So i guess that I'll have to live with this bug.
And freezing doesn't help, but here's the log:
https://pastebin.com/HivjnmnV
(I had to paste it somewhere, the length of the log exceed max allowed char limit)
Edit: hmm, it seems that auto DND works, if the slider is set to ring. If it's already on vibrate, then the setting doesn't change.
Hello,
Everytime I open android auto it mutes my ringtones and notifications. This did not happen on my previous phone (s7 edge); does anybody know how to disable this? It does not even show me my onscreen notifications when driving
I had the same problem, just using Android Auto on the phone, not a car screen. I'm afraid it's due to how Xiaomi have made Do Not Disturb, in that it isn't the same as standard Android. There used to be a toggle in the settings of Android Auto, but they removed that and you can't add exceptions in DND on Xiaomi. So, the only work around I have found is to download an app called Macrodroid. (Free) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arlosoft.macrodroid
And create a macro that detects when Android Auto is launched then disable DND, with a 5 second delay to allow Android Auto to start and switch DND mode.
If you want I can share screens of the macro.
If anyone has a better way let me know!
This is tasker / macrodroid macro that lowers AOD / Ambient display brightness
Installation:
Unzip file
Extract any 2 profiles for your application of choice (tasker or macrodroid)
Import these 2 profiles to the app and enable them
To control the AOD brightness, edit intensity of extra dim in settings > accessibility
Requirements:
Rooted
Tasker or Macrodroid accessibility permission enabled
How it works:
The macro sets extra dim to ON when you turn off your screen so your AOD brightness will be low - when screen is turned on (even on lockscreen), extra dim is set to off and normal brightness is restored
This was tested on Poco F3 - Android 13 - CrDroid v9.5 but it should work on all android phones
