Stereo Dual Speaker Mod (Like Iphone 7 /Htc 10) 27.10.2016

Hello Everybody....
here is an Simple Mod that activates the Phone Speaker and the Bottom Speaker. That Mod is awesome , and now you have the same Sound like the Htc 10 or Iphone 7 .
I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY POSSIBLE DAMAGE DONE TO YOUR DEVICE AS A RESULT OF REPLACING SYSTEM FILES.
I WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSABILITY FOR BRICKED PHONES OR LOST DATA.
first of all do an Backup of your Current xml´s !!! Copie them to an nother path or rename them with mixer_gains.xml.bak .
In Case if something go Wrong. I tested it with Audax 11 Rom . Maybe it will work with other Stock Samsung Rom´s ?!

Some Rom´s only Work with SoundMod V2 ... You must Test it by yourself . Thank you

How to install:
unzip the attached mixer_gains.zip and copy the mixer_gains.xml file to system/etc. and change the permissions to -rw -r -r. Restart your phone and enjoy Stereo and Better sound ...
Attention!!! Sound is Loud and Clear enough ... So do not try other volume value. Its Perfect :good:

Just tried on my 9287 with stock Samsung 5.1.1 and it works perfectly! It sounds awesome!

Hi ... I´ve tested it with 3 Call´s. It work no problems so far. Maybe its a Problem with your Current Rom ?! You can ask the Dev of your Rom.
I have uploaded a Restore Zip if you dont have a Backup of your files. Restore Zip same way as the Mod.
Someone else with this Problem ???

True Stereo is not Possible cause of Hardware. We have no Integrated Audio Chips for Stereo like Htc or Apple Ip7 .
Its like Aod or Iris Scanner. Its an Hardware Problem . I have tested it with other Mixed files. That is the best one i found.
Then is the Problem that you cannot make the Phone Speaker louder cause of damage.
The Sound Gain is good as it is I will not damage my Phone :cyclops:

Better yeah but we still have a problem with call, other party can't hear you at all.
Tested on purestock rom 5.1 with arter kernel.

Hmm ok ... Some1 have tested it with Audax V11 ??? I use this Rom right now and I have no Probs?!
Can you Pls ask the Rom Dev of your Current Rom to look into it ?
Bcose I dont have any solution 4 now. Must Test it with other Roms .

Hi Guys,
I have taken the liberty to post Dolby Atmos ported from LeEco Le pro 3 so it can be used for our custom rom’s.
I have tested and working ( including dirty flash over Le Max 2)

On some ROMs/devices streaming + V4A or Dolby does not work. It appears to be working but you can't hear the difference, flashing the deep_buffer fix deletes audio_policy.conf lines. On some devices this could cause a bootloop. If you don't have that problem, there's no need to flash.

One thing i have noticed with Lemax 2 port was volume tend to fluctuate in when its low. has anyone reported this?

I would assume this varies by device. However I wouldn't differentiate it with the one that comes with your stock rom. I include a modified version of the dax_default.xml in which I remove the volume heightening restriction and turn on audio regulation/modifications.
ETA: This allows your audio to reach higher highs, lower lows, and more consistent mids. Rather than a locked sound. Turn the left EQ bar all the way up and use V4A and you'll hear your bass thump without being too overbearing.

Hi @ahrion i tried to flash yours over stock rom which has Dolby but i am getting FC.

Im listening to a lot of music with my phone and thats why im looking for the audio experience i can get.
Im currently on rooted Stock OOS 4.0.3 and flashed Viper 2.5.0.5
Im using Xiaomi Pro HD (http://www.mi.com/en/headphonesprohd/) which are their newest in ear headphones and have some experience with using viper.
Although effects get boosted quite a bit, i feel like the sound could be clearer and more powerfull. Im trying a lot of settings and IRS for month now, but i never got to a very good result.
Am i just limited by Phone and headphones or is there still some improvement possible with software? Are there any specific settings for my headphones like IRS or Viper-DDC because i never found some. Im ok with settings for equal sounding headphones

Did you only flash viper or did you flash an edition of arise?
Otherwise i would suggest to try the latest Arise Swansong! It will take some time because the possibilities are endless but it's the best I've ever had..

Can you please post the zip file which you are talking about ? and also is this arise working well on 4.0.3 oxos ?

I don't know, it should be as freedom OS has it included.
For arise itself, just search arise xda in Google and you'll find the thread with the files and all needed information and support.

I only flashed the viper4android.zio 2.5.0.5 according to this guide: http://www.theandroidsoul.com/install-viper4android-nougat/
Unfortunally the biggest problem i have is that there is always a disturbance noise in the background, i heard that this is only the problem with the version i am using, so im looking to flash an older one

Ya I flashed the module and a busybox still driver status showing unsupported haven't flashed atmos or dds, guess its rom related will try on OOS beta 6 .

FreedomOS has ARISE cooked in, so I would hope it works!
I only flashed ARISE AROMA installer (not Magisk) on the stock ROM (with root) without having to monkey around with SELinux permissive or Busybox, and it works perfectly.

Believe it or not, the stock Dirac Sound thing is the best for OOS IMO.

I've tried ARISE with many different settings. My preference is stock without ARISE.

Here is my setting, you can try it
Viper DDC : AKG 501
Firequlaizer : acustic
Field surround : 4-5
Headphone surround : level 1
Viper bass : natural 50-6
Viper clarity : natural default

If you correctly configured arise-configuration.prop, it has been installed. It doesn't have a config app, it's more like an "install and forget" mod

Just installed viper 4 arise and it is not processing,any solution?

What do you have installed in addition of Viper ? Dolby Atmos ?

Android Stock Equalizer (Pie) and Snapdragon Audio+ (Oreo)

Hi there!.
After I updated from Oreo to Pie via OTA, I noticed that the system equalizer was different from the previous version.
I thought it must be just an update to the interface or the eq, but it seems like it wasn't really just that.
They broke completely the eq. in the last update. I can really notice the difference in quality and surrounding between these two.
It's a shame.. I'm such a music lover and I'm listening to music like almost the entire day.
I really liked how Snapdragon Audio+ managed to pull music to its best with my Bose QC35II bluetooth headphones.
Then.. unfortunately, I had to rollback to Oreo just for this reason.
I wanted to ask you guys, if you know.. if there's any way to port this "Snapdragon Audio+" from Oreo to Pie, even if rooting is necessary.
I've been doing some research and I couldn't find any fix for this yet, though I saw Xioami's devices are not the only ones that's been affected.
I saw that Nokia's owners were complaining about the same thing in forums.

I'm using viper4android fx (magisk module) it really does the job

Install Magisk and then install the Viper4android Magisk module. Works flawlessly.
On a side note, there is an unofficial version of xposed for pie now.

I've been looking everywhere for this! Ever since android pie update in December I was hesitating to update to Pie because of this. Decided to update anyway in January and I looked everywhere if anybody had any solution to this. Glad to find this post! ?

That was probably me. I spammed the Snapdragon Audio+ EQ all around reddit and XDA.

Wow, it works with Equalizer FX (a.k.a. viper4android)!!!
Could you please explain me what MusicFX actually did to Equalizer FX? I tried it before installing Music FX and it didn't work!

Nope, it only works once, after installing.
Can't make it work after apps are closed and opened again.
