Had Xposed working, and now its not, please help! - Xposed General

I want to preface this by saying I have no idea what the heck I'm talking about at all. I don't know much about any of this, and just kind of winged my way through my LG G2 and G3. Heck, I thought I posted a post earlier this morning but I can't find it. I digress...
I had LG G3 marshmallow permanent rooted, I don't remember how I did it but it was a handful of months ago and I have roirraW "edor" ehT posts to thank for helping me out. Basically I screwed up, I went to install the hotspot provision mod for my Verizon G3 and wiped data when I installed it, instead of just Dalvik and Cache. Lost all my stuff on my phone... awesome. Spent about 2 hours getting it back up and running, and I do! The problem is I don't think TWRP is working correctly, either that or Xposed isn't installing and I'm not sure why.
I re-rooted my phone by (and I know I didn't do this last time...) using Kingroot to give me temporary root, then using TWRP to install SuperSU for permanent root. All good.
Now I'm trying to install Xposed, I KNOW I have the right zip file to do this (its the same one I used before when it was working for weeks). I added the zip, clicked to wipe cache and dalvik install it. The install seems to go by very fast, phone reboots, all 240 app re-start themselves (a like 10 minute process mind you). And then I go to the Xposed app and it still says no framework is installed. I'm not sure what gives! I tried twice now.
For clarification I am installing xposed-v86-sdk23-arm.zip. The installation seems to "go" but it seems much faster than I recall. And when I get back into the Xposed app I have this error...
Xposed is not (yet) compatible with Android SDK version 23 or your processor architecture (armeabi-v7a).

xposed framework not working tried EVERYTHING

Ok So.. I am using my HTC One for almost a year now, when I came across this xposed frame work and xblast module, and I got so so excited after reading this, that trust me the sole reason for Rooting my HTC One was to be able to use xblast.
I rooted my HTC One, successfully, and installed xposed framework successfully as well, Installed xblast and did all sorts of modifications like, changing carrier text, wifi signal color, battery color, mobile signal color and couple of others and did a reboot, and to my surprised and much to the anticlimax to my excitement NOTHING worked not even one change happened ... ... I was like in tears ... ..... well check and re checked everything, and tried a hard re boot and still nothing.
I then noticed if I go in to xposed framework, it says the latest version of xposed is not active and I have like red "42" in front of app_process.
Searched xda and came to conclusion that you have to manually or automatically (what ever works) have to install the xposed framework file.
I tried the below files from THIS thread
cwm-Xposed.Framework.Installer.v2.3.1.zip
cwm-Xposed.Framework.Installer.v2.4.1.zip
Version 2.4.1 if I install by going in to recovery mode, the phone does not boot at all and gets stuck at HTC Logo screen, I have to then go to recovery and load the " Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip " to be able to boot.
Version 2.3.1 if I install I am able to boot BUT it still says the latest version of xposed is not installed. and its all red in front of app_process.
Searched XDA AGAIN and some post suggested that do a manual install and when in recover install the xposed-installer-recovery.zip from Android/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/files BUT doing this again does not let my phone boot and I am stuck at HTC Logo till the time I re boot to recovery and run the Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip
I am using a rooted HTC One M7 with Android 4.4.2 and HTC sense 6 with Nova Launcher ..
Friends as you can see I have done every part of my own trouble shooting and have read like gazillions thread on XDA and tried out every possible thing I can think off.
I believe I now have the right to start a thread and ask for help officially ....SO PLEASE HELP ...:crying:
Hi Friends, any one on this, I could really use some help and guidance here ....
Have you tried to reinstall xposed? Deinstall the app and reinstall everything? What about root access? Have you granted xposed root access?
Use the latest version (2.6.1) and flash Xposed from the recovery. We can't help you if you're using an old version (2.4.1).
(FYI, the installer would've told you to do exactly that if you just used the latest version.)
OK OK wait I did some more reading, mean time I was waiting for a reply here, and did some troubleshooting, it seems the S-On was the culprit ....... I had to use firewater to get S-OFF even that was not straight as I was getting some error. I then had to flash kernal Bulletproof and then use firewater to have S-OFF.
Anyway with S-OFF I finally was able ti have Xposed framework all green. BUT BUT xblast which was the sole purpose of the entire saga, messed up my phone like anything. I loaded Xblast module and again did all sorts of changes, and re booted, ...
Here goes my experience ...
1. It took a truck load of time to boot,
2. Then when I finally saw the desktop screen, my carrier signal was off, No signal what so ever ...
2.1 BTW I was able to see few xblase changes like my name on the status bar.
2.2 Crashed few apps like DS Audio and lastfm
3. Even before I could think to proceed I started getting this message "com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" repeatedly, again n again. I kept on pressing Dont send but the message would not go.
4. I rebooted again and same behavior the message simply would not go, plus no signal.
5. What I finally did was somehow go in to xposed framework and uncheck xblast and rebooted
6. Finally I was able to boot with everything back.
Good new is atleast Xposed Framework is working with all Green. Xblast didnt and is checkedoff
BTW xblast version is latest (AFAIK) ...1.8.7
Any suggestions steps the gurus here can recommend to have xblast working.
Mean time will try some other modules like BubbleUPnP (Audio cast) , sense 6 tools etc and report ...
Thanks for all the help and guidance
This is the wrong place for module specific support, you should post in the modules' threads instead.
could have atleast point me in the right direction .... anyway thanks for all help here ....

I did: I told you to post in the modules' threads. Those are usually linked from inside the module itself or from the module's repo page, but I'm not going to search for the links myself and paste them for you.

Xposed

Hey fellas,
Struggling big time here trying to get xposed working, Ive looked everywhere but cant find a post that shows me how to correctly install the framework on my mini 2.
Im on stock, bootloader is unlocked, rooted and twrp installed, so, i tried the xposed installer app to install framework, but it only enables 1 part of the process, 58 and 54, the other one installs then says reboot, when i go back to xposwd app, still only 1 part working -
app_process nothing active
Xposed bridge.jar - 54 active.
In red it says - app process version 58 has been installed previously but version "___" was found now, if you didnt expect an old file to be restored you might want to try installing via recovery (auto or manual) -
WOT ???????
LMAO, had plenty of phones, Z2 was my last one and ive never had issues installing xposed.
Now i am S-ON still coz i aint paying 25 dollars just to s-off when someone will crack it in the end, i always thought development was to share not to scam peeps outta money, but anyway, could this be my issue, i just assumed, being rooted, xposed should be fine.
Where am i going wrong.
Can anyone please assist, i would be extremely grateful.

you dont need S-OFF for xposed
but you do need custom recovery like TWRP for better installation.
i always use option fash with zip,
choose installation mode
Recovery(flash zip automatically)
Wow, easy as that, worked a treat, thanks very much for your help

Bein Sport app refuses to work with my rooted Z3C

Hi everyone!
I have a rooted Z3C and it is a fantastic phone, I love it. The problem is that I bought a television sport service that includes the possibility to watch games on your phone, it's called Bein Sport. This app is able to detect root and refuse to play any videos so the service I bought becomes kind of useless
The worst part is that I don't want to mess around, just want to watch games on my phone and use the service for what it was thought. Si I thought i'd give a shout here, has anyone been able to bypass that annoying feature? I don't even understand why they don't like rooted phone
thanks!

There is an Xposed module for masking root on your phone, not sure if it will work or not. There is another Xposed app that offers help as well.
Installing Xposed can sometimes be tricky, make sure you find the right arm zip or you could be facing bootloops.
The place to start if you want to go down that road is here

Hey Steve, thanks for answering. I am willing to try your solution so I read the page you showed me to install Xposed. I downloaded the last version of the ARM (note arm64, or x86), should I boot into recovery and flash it now? I reaaally don't want to mess up and have to reinstall it all! Is the Z3C part of the phones that have problems with Xposed? cheers!

I use Xposed, it's very popular and works fine on the Z3c. I think the emphasis is to read about it before you do it, as many people rush in, go to downloads, install the one with the latest build number and then come crying to the forum about bootloops.
The fact that you have read ahead on the page before you did anything assures me that you won't mess it up :good:
If it reassures you, I am using xposed-v80-sdk22-arm.zip on a 5.1.1. build. But there are more recent versions out now, although I don't know what the advantages of using those are. Perhaps later versions cover the use of MM. Can anybody enlighten me on that?
Edit: Once you have flashed the installer in recovery, restart the phone and then install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
With that installed and running you can find the modules and install them.
Each install or change of settings requires a restart.

I am unable to flash the xposed.zip in recovery (Philz). It says "failed to set up expected mounts for install". I have tried on internal SD, external SD and even USB... any idea?

Check you have root, install SuperSU and make sure it's up to date

Yep, installed, up do date, and some apps even use my root without any issues
If anyone comes here, here is what happened to me: I tried to install Xposed to try this trick but my phone would'nt falsh because it couldn't mount /system. I assumed that it was a problem with partitions. I tried deleting root manually but the app always found root even when I wasn't rooted anymore (beware, this app is pretty smart). I ended up having to go back to stock which sucks because the battery is really bad in comparison, but anyway I can watch football! Cheers

Xposed installer

I installed the latest one on my galaxy a5 2017 sm-520f with magisk on rooted phone. ResurrectionosOs 6.2.1 8.1oero. I did it with magisk and I flashed manually. It even says closed version 90 is activate, but when I try the use any of the modules they don't work.
Thanks I'm advance
log
@goodTASte,
Just an FYI. Never paste a long log. Attach it or put it online and post a link. (EDIT: Oh, I see you don't have the ten posts yet.)
There should be no reason to run Amplify on Oreo. No benefits plus I believe it's not totally functional. I suggest disabling/removing it. Couple of other modules I thought weren't quite up to date for Oreo also.
In fact, disable all modules and test them one by one. Ofc rebooting after each activation.
Lots of dalvik related stuff. Maybe a dalvik wipe is in order? Not sure but it doesn't hurt.
LG G3 D851, Candy7 v6.0 ROM, Google free - no microG, MultiROM, XDA Legacy
I did the whole process again. The issue that came up before that "xposed installer is installed, but not active" where the solution seemed to be look for root/data/data/de.robv.android.xposed/config/ and there eliminate (delete) modul list file. where he guy used lollipop i dont know, i only have 4 files there cache, code_cache no_backup and shared_prefs. Previusl i deleted all 4 of these, and after that xposed said its active. What should i do? I
Rebooted it works like charm. Well not exactly i installed minmin guard and its not blocking the ads. It supposed to do that. Guess modules still not work

Noobie in need of help installing magisk on mi a2 for PoGo spoofing

So I had this working before but then it stopped. and I am trying to fix it but being hit with roadblocks.
my initial attempt at it I had a ton of help in this thread I made
https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonGoSpoofing/comments/c7j5lp
but a lot of that stuff I think is quite out of date. I way also trying to follow along here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JBcgbnEfawxSCGxlDF_Lf3cPcXmz4uq7cGVmEQqMB8A/edit too but was failing to get Smali patcher installed so was wondering if anyone could be so kind as to help me out here with this process to hopefully get this working again.
I can say, my phone is currently unlocked. and im on Build number QKQ1.130310.002 V11.0.21.0.QDIMIXM
in which part that it failed to spoof? As long as you rooted with magisk, installed smali patcher, and hide pogo in magisk, you should good to go, cuz it's workin for me until now

Thats just it. Its unspoofable right now. And I tried throwing the phone into recovery at one point and it told me it needed a factory reset. So I begrudgingly did it.
I tried refollowing the massive chain of comments in the reddit thread with the utilities in the googledoc to get myself up and running again but im slipping up somewhere and things arent working
I got TWRP going but any attemps to get the smali patcher zip installed failed so I think I need to be walked though getting magick installed properly and then getting the smali modual installed cause a few hours of attemps just got me nowhere.

Well I'm quite a noobie with this stuff like I mentioned, I fumbled my way through it before and tried following the above older Reddit thread to the best of my ability but it just wasn't clicking... I may be way off base with what I am attempting to do and doing it all wrong.
I had downloaded Magisk app v22 but then I saw on the read me it recommends not using it so I tried an older version of the app but then it started demanding that I update it... and then I tried installing the module that smali patcher made with twrp which wouldn't install and that's basically the all the roadblocks I hit and how I ended up just caving and trying to get help here.
The PoGO spoofing subreddit wasn't much help unfortunately and the person that helped so much before deleted their old account.
