[Q] internet connection failed with Wifi

Hi everybody,
Pls help me out, as i have motorola milestone A853 phone and Im trying to connect internet with WIFI at my home router (Cisco) its not connecting and i have also tried at my work place its working wifi in my phone, nd I uninstalled Andriod MIUI 2.4.20 from my phone, just as a Andriod phone its connecting at my home router with Cisco ... pls provide any solution for this or there is solution of Kernels for milestone ... nd how to root this kernel

[Q] wifi not working in pac man rom

hi all
i am new to this rom stuff...i was running trick rom for about 3 weeks but fancy seeing what the 4.2 pac man rom was like so i download the rom with the google app zip...did what it say on the pac man thread,,all went ok nice and easy but then when i want to connect to my WIFI at home it just will not connect at all.
so i i went back to the trick rom with a full wipe in twrp i did do a full back up in twrp but it seem it will not show up in twrp now..
so is they anything else i need to do or is there a fix

The 3G works fine on pac?
However, you can try to flash the boot.img in fastboot and see.
And, what's your problem with the recovery?

Yeah 3G work ok it just the wifi is not working in PAC or trick rom now.
It's keep trying to get my IP address then just switches the wifi off when it can not get the IP address.

Well I give up I have tried factory rest. Rest my router change my password.re flashed the rom change setting on the phone but still will not connect just keeps saying authenticating now. Any more ideas I can try guys,

I am having the same problem too. Was previously on trickdroid. Flashed Revolt ROM and my wifi wasnt connecting to my home network. It could detect, prompted for the network password but after that it just wouldnt connect. So i looked deeper in the phone's information and discovered that my phone's IP address was in a different IP address range. It was 10.x.x.x and my home router was 192.x.x.x. My sister's S4 had no wifi problems (unrooted) and hers was 192.x.x.x. So now I'm trying to set my HTC One's IP address to 192.x.x.x. Still trying to figure a way out though. Hopefully it will work. Give it a try!

Weird 5GHz WiFi Issue

Hi. I just got my SM-T710 yesterday and it was on either 5.0.2 or 5.1.1. When I set it up, I was able to connect to my 5GHz SSID no problem. However, as soon as I Odin'd to 6.0.1, my 5GHz network disappeared. It can't see it and won't connect to it even if I add it in manually. I've been trying to fix it all day (even reflashed the 6.0.1 formware but I cant go back to 5.0.2 as it is U1 firmware) but nothing has worked. It is only my 5GHz network that is not showing up. All other 5GHz networks show up and I can connect to my 5GHz mobile hotspot fine. It's simply my own 5GHz network. I've also reset the router and confirmed that the network works on all my other devices. I'm at a loss as to what I can do next. Any pointers?
The tablet started ignoring more 5GHz networks so I tried CM 12.1 and it seems this is a bug with the latest stock update. It works fine on CM 12.1.

I have the same problem after upgrading to 6.0.1 UK ROM. Just found that flashing Canada 6.0.1 ROM solved my problem. Maybe you can try.

Corrupted Mac Address for Wifi

Since I installed a few custom roms in MiA2 everything works fine but mac address for wifi is not available. I tried google but couldn't find help.
Without Mac Address, Wifi is unable to turn on or connect. IP address is unavailable.
Please help with a genuine solution.

p.s. there were no problems installing rom, twrp or with anything else as far as concerned. ONLY MAC ADDRESS IS UNAVAILABLE

The exact same thing happened to me. I was unable to turn on WiFi and hotspot. I just performed a factory reset and my WiFi Mac address got reset and everything's working fine.
Just do a factory reset.

I'm havin the same problem, but even after a factory reset, the MAC address isn't available

XT1925-4 wifi problem please help

Hello guys im new here and i tried lot of things to repair my wfi problem.
So its my mom phone and one day she called me about selfrestart phone in night and there was image of bootloader and startup failed.
So after classic factory reset and etc my wifi still not working. The problem is i cant connect to any wifi. I can scan it but wont connect just say disabled or saved but not connection.
After this i tried flash stockroom succesfully after 2 days of hard work So i flash stock room but the problem is still there so im not sure what can i do anymore. If i can try flash some newer rom or custom rom or its just hardware failure? has anyone have problem like this? All others things work normal like data connections etc. Sorry for my english
1. update so i flashed another lineage room just in case and still not working.
2. i notice in system information that wifi mac adress is 0d:00:00:00:00:00 so can be hardware failure probably.
3. Hotspot wifi is working so i can connect from another mobile to the broken wifi mobile
