Thanks, and thanked. Might want to change your post description that this is "Stock PF2" MM firmware and not stock PF1.
Thanks again!

Worked like a charm just loaded it up in odin and flashed. No issue rewriting over the AT&T G920AUCS4CPF1 and restoring my phone back to Cricket Firmware.
I want to add that this is an interesting build of Marshmallow, not sure why Cricket is limiting phone performance with it. There is almost a 30% difference in benchmarks between This Cricket Version PG2 and AT&T Version PF1.
PF1 seems to run alot better on the phone. not sure why.

Is it noticeable during regular use? How does battery life seem after flashing?

I really don't know if it is noticeable, but before I ran the AnTuTu benchmark, the phone did feel a little slugish as opposed to the AT&T PF1 version of MM which I had just switched from.
Will get back to you on battery life, but so far so good, it does seem to be a little better than AT&T version in that regards probably due to the lack of all the AT&T bloatware running in the backround.

I went ahead and flashed. Everything seems fine, except for this weird bug that randomly shuts the screen off while in use. I've noticed it seems to happen more when i swipe down from the top of the screen. I also just came from AT&T PF1.

Do you have a phone case or screen saver installed? Sounds like the proximity sensor got super touchy. After you flashed did you reset the phone to "Factory" before you restored any back ups or programs?
I do have a slim case and a screen protector on it. I performed a factory reset and still had the same problem. I decided to flash through Odin again, and didn't restore any data. Same problem. I'm back on AT&T PF1, and no issues at all.

Does anyone still have these Odin files? I'm trying to get FP2, but Dropbox is returning a 429 error.

Cricket S6 SM-G920AZTUS5CPG4 6.0.1??
Curious if those would be applicable for my SM-G920TUS5CPG4 6.0.1? Does the entire model number have to match or can I just use one of those? I've been looking everywhere for my exact model number seeing as I'll be rooting for the first time and would very much like to get it "right" the first time. any help or suggestions appreciated *thanks* in advance...

So I've flashed this firmware a couple times before with no issues. Now whenever i flash this it does not recognize my sim card. Ive tried factory reset and re-flash, but still not reading sim card. The interesting thing is that when I flash the AT&T PJ1 build, it reads my sim card just fine. This is originally a cricket G920AZ model. Anyone else experience this issue? Do I have to flash the modem separately? If so, does anyone know where to find it? Thanks in advance.

I was/am having the same issue. DId you ever find a fix to get back to the Cricket version?
I'm interested to know the hardware differences between a 920AZ and a 920I. Why wouldn't a stock 920I or 920F ROM work?

Question, could find an answer to my issue online.
I'm still running KK, and when I flash the COD radio in Odin, it flashes successfully, but then the phone just bootloops, and won't get past the initial screen to the boot animation. I am running the latest version of twrp as well. Been flashing radios for years, and I've ran into this issue before. Is there an additional step I'm missing, or am I doing something incorrect?
Thank you in advance.

You're not doing anything wrong per say. On this phone the modems have to be paired with the correct version bootloader. In your case it has to be paired with the COD6 Bootloader. Unfortunately, you can't run KK(ANK4, ANJ) Roms using the Call of Duty 6 Bootloader which then entails not being able to use the Modem.
Thank you, makes sense. I thought some folks on here said they were able to do so while still running the KK ROM.
Thanks for the quick response.

Thanks for the correct MATURE response. You could have simply said I was probably doing it wrong because others got it to work. I could never get it to work, nor did I look to see if there was a thread for it because it wasn't that big of a deal to me.
OP try that method and see if it works.
Thanks for your help, I'll try it out when I get a chance.
Ok, I followed the directions, let me know what Im not doing quite right.
I plugged the phone into usb and fired up odin, per the instructions. The radio downloaded to the phone, I unplugged usb and pulled the battery. Put the battery back in, and powered up, and got the same bootloop. I repeated the same procedure, and tried pulling the battery first (phone was still on until I unplugged Usb), and same result.
Any ideas?
Try odin 3.04 instead.

I just tried that, and even downloaded moscab's files, still no go.
Is there some other way Im supposed to do this? So the phone is plugged into the laptop, everything is set in odin, the phone back is removed. I click start, it downloads to the phone, the bar across the screen on the phone is complete. I unplug the usb cable, pull the battery, replace the battery, power up, and get the bootloop.
A bit frustrating, I could really use the improved modem while on KK.
I flashed mine using Odin 3.10.6 and didn't have any bootloop issues. I usually used 3.09, but I think I read a thread somewhere to use the latest version which worked fine for me.
THANK YOU! Finally worked with Odin 10.6.3!!
Thank you everyone for your help in this thread!

Glad it worked for you, I'm still on Kitkat, but find the cod6 modem works better in my area.
It works well for me too. I'm actually getting band 12 connections now, verified with LTE discovery. I'm getting full bars at my in-laws on band 12, where as I'd get 1 maybe 2 on band 4.
Hey guys, I am having some problems going from JDX down to a 5.1 ROM. I cannot get data on any of the ROMS I am trying.
I have tried to download a few radios seperate and flash them at the start, or after the fact and still nothing. I also manually went to the apn to set it up but the correct one is already there and that didn't work.
Is there something I need to flash to make it work correctly? I'm stumped!
thanks!

Did you check and make sure the bootloader was configured correctly? I don't know if it even changes it, I will see what mine says. If you have to downdrage it, you will have to search further, I don't know how to do that on this particular phone
Read this http://www.gottabemobile.com/2015/06/15/5-reasons-to-skip-android-m-beta-preview/
Downgrading is a Hassle
If you do decide to try the Android M beta release, you’ll have to completely erase your entire device and start over from a fresh install of Android. Users will need to backup apps and pictures, transfer all their data, re-download everything and set of the device the way they’d like. Then, if you decide you want to go back to Android 5 Lollipop, users will need to erase the device and do this all over again. It can be quite the hassle, time consuming, and frustrating for those new to Android, or aren’t used to doing this often.
Here is a youtube vid on how to downgrahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TazsmCuA5Cwde
BL moto-apg8084-71.08 (sha-32b8854, then the date it was made
baseband d4.0-9625-02.95
product variant shamu xt1103 32gb p3a0
cpu apq8084 esi.1
That's what mine says, and your issue does sound like the BL got changed
Sorry I'm not more help, but that's what comes to mind rightaway
wow thank you do much for replying. That is what I thought too. I had 0 problems before with any ROM then I decided to try the JDX M preview ROM and since then going back hasn't worked.
I tried to download several bootloaders and radios and flashing them and using the toolkit to flash them. No luck I will watch that video and read that post and see if it helps me any.
Again, thank you!
so I downloaded it his way and flashed it his way and I still get no data.

You flashed the stock RUU? right? you should have gone to a google page that had the stock roms in them, it had links as well on the YT link I gave you, try again, I watched the vid and the maker was talking pretty fast, if you still have issues DL teamviewer to your computer and I will get on your puter and help ya out
lol, downgrading the bootloader will do nothing. im on m, with the m bootloader, and have hone to 5.1.1 a few times. always keeping my m bootliader.
if your apn is 100% correct, id just boot up, and eventually youll catch the signal, as long as its not disabled, or data isnt disabled.
of course, your sim card cohld have gone bad. they do die every now and then.

Hi Hi sorry for the delayted response.
Basically for whatever reason no CM ROMS would work at all. I tried some AOSP ones and they are completely fine and have no problems with them.
I Downloaded ROM Manager and will give a look into other CM ROMs in a little while to see if it works.
Thanks so much for all the help!

How do you like M? I was thinking about giving it a twirl, decided to wait until the bugs were gone, and it's more refined
Hi, I bought a s5 g900a from at&t with android 5.0 about 6 months ago in USA (i am from argentina). Everything was fine untill one day it started rebooting, not in loop, first once a day, then 3 or 4 for times a day, and finally almost every time I opened an app it got reboot.
First of all I want to say that I never installed any 3er party app or any rom, I just had the most common apps like fb, tw, instagram, etc. So I decided to do a factory reset thinking that would fix the problem, but It didnt, after factory and cache reset I used the phone for about 5 minutos and rebooted...
So, second attempt, I looked in sammobile for offcial roms and found v5.01... installed it with odin, no luck, still rebooting...
3er attempt, new rom, now v5.1.1, same problem, it worked almost a day fine and then it started rebooting. Right now my phone is completely useless, it keeps rebooting very often. When I installed the roms I had some problems, I got de "custom" message in the samsung screen, and some others, but I could fix them. My phone is now with android 5.1.1 but not working. Any ideas??? anything else I can try? can it be a hardware problem?
Thanks a lot for your help, and sorry for my lousy english
I notice you say that you got a 5.01 lollipop update from sammobile for the att sm-g900a. Could it be you have mistaken the device I'd and flashed another firmware not compatible with your device. Also sammobile does not have a firmware file other than the 4.4.2 for the att variant. Yet if you did flashed an incompatible firmware and managed to get it to boot, it would mean we might just have a way to switch firmwares. As for your random reboots it might be your phone has some sort of malfunction. Try the guides posted here on the forums restoring your device to 5.1.1 att official firmware. Also please post the exact files you used from sammobile for flashing your device.

You are right, I didnt get the roms from sammobile, only the 4.4.2 to try a downgrade, but didnt work, I dont remember where I got the other files, but they are suppose to be at&t version.
Right now I have installed android 5.1.1, I installed it through odin with the file G900AUCU4COI5. The phone works for a while and then reboots. Now it doesnt have any app installed, its clean and it is still working bad, It also gets too hot and sometimes before freeze it makes a very wear noise!
Yeah it seems the most logical explanation here would be the hardware going bad. As that would explain the device becoming hot from no usage. Try using another battery and taking the SD and Sim card off to se if it becomes stable, other than that you might need to have it repaired.

I already changed the battery and the phone is with no sim and no SD, but still not working. I guess the only explanation is that it is a hardware problem.
Hey guys this is the official at&t firmware that I have been searching for for ages! It's the newest firmware as of 7/6/2016 and gives us the June 1st security patch.
I figured that since we now have root, we should have the stock firmware posted if we need to factory reset using odin (or in general since AT&T does not let us use the smart switch app to update the firmware)

Thanks for this! Perhaps you can give me some advice? I tried the root, and I also tried the new 935U firmware and had problems, so I managed(after an entire day of frustration, research and trial & error) to get back to the stock At&t firmware now. However, Its saying that im on the February patch and when I had it try to search for an update, it said that my phone is already up to date!
I just bought this phone within the last week, originally It came with the April patch loaded onto it and updated to the June patch, now it wont update for some reason. I figured I could manually flash the June patch, (which has been hard to find up until I saw this post)but wasnt sure if there was a way to do it without losing everything and having to start from scratch all over again. So I figured Id ask if there was a way before I try flashing anything else. I haven't done this stuff in a long time and my memory is pretty rusty on everything.
Just figured Id follow up, since no one has commented on this thread surprisingly, I tested the files, they worked perfectly . Im back up to the June Security patch from the Feb Patch. Everything is working perfectly. Thanks again for these files.

I have seen similar issues. I think the reason you was not able to update is because you didn't flash the BL file of G935A. OTA was kind of broken.
Yeah, I kinda figured that was the issue. Flashing all the other files besides the BL was what seemed to work for getting my phone back to 935A from 935U. I had a feeling there may be some consequences in not flashing the BL... Well, it's all better now thanks to these files!

I don't know if this is still true, but I heard from another dev that VOLTE was not avaialble on ATT unless you had an IPHONE - I Contacted ATT Back when I heard this (a few months ago) and they confirmed that VOLTE only worked on IPHONES and was not avaialble on ATT ANDROID at this time.
Really pissed me off - hopefully that has changed or if not, it will soon....

When I rooted my Edge the other day with the engboot, my phone had VoLTE enabled. So it's definitely possible. That was pretty neat, but I reverted back to non-root for now. Hopefully there will be a better root method soon which doesn't negatively impact performance so much...
It seems like the U firmware might be our best bet for uncovering a new and better root.
Keep in mind you can flash any firmware Att to Tmobike or Sprint to Att or Sprint to Tmobile or vice versa. But you must be on the same revision number in order for it to work. S7 & S7 Edge both work. I have flashed several with no issues to another carrier.

How did you get back to stock from engboot? I'm stuck at this point. I tried using Odin3_v3.11.2.exe to flash the stock image found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-s7-edge/how-to/stock-firmware-935a-att-t3410887by flashing the AP only. It got hung up for an hour, so I rebooted into recovery mode and did a factory reset. My ROM status is still set to custom. It is downloading a software update currently of about 599 mbs.
Any help would be appreciated.

go into odin and select all the ones posted in 1st post at once via odin to return to stock
So if I want to flash my phone back the the stock firmware, I use all of these at once then flash yeah? AP to AP and so on?
Hello Everyone!
Quick (stupid) question. How would one root the Samsung Galaxy S6 (Flat, T-Mobile Variant) running Android 6.0.1 (Stock)? Last night (As of this post) I've tried installing TWRP but ended in a bootloop at the Samsung logo, and (Thankfully) Smart Switch saved my ass. At this point, tripping KNOX isn't of my concern, as my phone's warranty has expired. Attached is my phone's Model, Build, etc.
Any help is appreciated.

Use CF-Auto-Root.

Looking through all the builds, I don't see my build number. The closest one to mine (which is MMB29K.G920TUVU4EPF1), is MMB29K.G920TUVU3EPD1. Now, I would use this, but I don't want a 600$ brick, so unless it's compatible with my build, I'm gonna have to wait.

Ah, yeah, looks like you're running the latest update and it seems to early to tell if CF-Auto-Root will even work on it (I don't think anyone has tried yet).
Anyways, here's all the information you'll need: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67623487&postcount=7
Rest assured that you can't brick anything as long as you have access to download mode to reflash stock firmware.

Thanks for the reply. Hmm...last time I flashed TWRP on my phone, It got stuck on the "Samsung Galaxy" logo, stayed there no matter what, thankfully I was able to use "Emergency Firmware Reset." I've been snooping around forms, and some people state to, "UNCHECK AUTO REBOOT, when finished installing, reboot manually." Of course, I'm hesitant to try that, after all Smart Switch only backs up photos, videos, apps, etc, but not the actual Android operating system.
I'm gonna do a back up of what I can and try EncryptedCurse's suggestion. Wish me luck!

Did as instructed, still didn't work, freezes and shuts down at the Samsung Logo. Doing a Emergency Device Initialization now, and then restoring my stuff. Thanks anyway, I knew I shouldn't have updated to 6.0... :sigh:
So im guessing theres no way to root it yet huh?

From what I've tried, no. I had a feeling this would happen as soon as I upgraded.
On a side note, is anyone developing a kernel for build MMB29K.G920TUVU4EPF1? Twisted Six's kernel only goes up to EPD1...
What if you just downgrade back to lolipop ??

The latest update expressly prevents downgrading.
