HTC One M9 root help - SuperSU

iUse TWRP 3.0.2 and SuperSU 2.76 on my M9 and now it's stuck at in a never ending boot loop.
iCan still access download mode, bootloader, and recovery mode
but i'm not able to pull my device up when typing adb devices into the command window.
How do iGo about restoring my phone so that iCan start the process over?
If i'm not mistaken the issue is with the TWRP is used, iNeed an updated version, correct?

[Q] "Bricked" Optimus 4X

Hi.
I was trying to flash LiquidSmooth ROM, installed TWRP recovery, formatted /data and /cache to F2FS and installed the rom, an custom kernel by mourta and PA Gapps.
The phone stucked in LiquidSmooth bootlogo. I tried to boot in recovery unsuccessfully (my Vol - key is kinda broken), the command adb reboot recovery didn't work.
After many tries, I could flash the LG Stock rom, the Kdz program didn't finish the process and the phone rebooted, don't know why.
Tried many other times to flash.
To sum up, I could flash the original firmware, the phone is booting up normally and aparently is working properly, the problem is: I still can't go to recovery to restore my old rom. (The adb reboot recovery comand just reboot the phone). So, I can't root it or flash another custom recovery.
I wish you guys can help me. Sorry if I written something wrong or if the text is too long, I haven't finished my English course yet.
Which stock rom have you flashed? I've tried to use fastboot on a V10 rom couple of weeks ago and I coudn't do it. I think that it works just with V20 roms.

I'm using now V20A_00_4.1.2.EURO.
I could acess the recovery (original) but adb sideload doesn't work. It says: "Error: more than one device and emulator."
About fastboot, I've already tried to flash the recovery using this, but it just keep with one message, I guess is waiting phone, or something like that.

I didn't know that error more than one device and emulator. I can't help you on this error.
About Fastboot still waiting phone, that is phone driver's problem. Try to install P880 fastboot drivers and try again.
Try these drivers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38953792&postcount=17

I figued out about the error: "Error: more than one device and emulator."
It's an incompatibility with Bluestacks, after close it, it works, but I had to turn off the phone and couldn't flash.
And about fastboot, I could acess this too (Didn't knew that I needed to be on Bootloader mode). But I can't flash the recovery, it says that my bootloader is locked (using fastboot reboot bootloader).
It isn't, or at least wasn't before it all happen. Using ADB command to reboot in bootloader mode (adb reboot oem-unlock I guess), I can flash the .img of clockwork mod and TWRP without error messages, but I still can't boot into it by adb reboot recovery.
Thanks for trying. Today I could acess Android original recovery by hardware keys and install another recovery and ROM.

TWRP Recovery being overwritten?

I just got my Moto X and am experiencing an issue with TWRP recovery on the phone. I'm able to install the recovery in fastboot using adb. However when the device restarts, TWRP is gone and i get the little Android guy error.
Steps i took to load:
1) unlocked phone
2) downloaded TWRP version 2.8 .1.0-victara
3) placed image file in android adb folder
4) put phone in fastboot mode and connected to computer
5) opened command line in adb folder and typed command "fastboot boot openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0-victara.img
6) phone will reboot to TWRP as expected
7) however once phone is rebooted TWRP is gone
Did my steps above not install the recovery, just boot it up temporarily?
Any info or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick
You are only booting TWRP, not flashing it. The correct command is "fastboot flash recovery [recoveryname].img".
Thanks Metalhead. You sre right. I figured it iut last night. Now if i could only get exchange to work on gmail for my work account.

Rooting Problems Need Help

Hi I'm a new Android user and don't know much about it :'( I recently got my OnePlus 3T and I wanted to root it
so I followed a tutorial video from YouTube successfully unlocked bootloader and flashed twrp recovery then I tried to install SuperSU... well it installed but the device got soft bricked when I rebooted after finishing the installation and wiping cache/dalvik
then I format/factory reset everything using twrp recovery and it's working now but the device isn't rooted :'( tried to install SuperSU again and it got bricked again
Also I'm getting these messages on the startup screen-
1st one: Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted. If you don't want to see this screen please lock your device by "fastboot oem lock" and erase user data.
2nd one: The dm-verity is not started in enforcing mode and may not work properly.
(My os version is 4.1.7)
device OP 3t A3010
plz help me :'(
The 1st and the 2nd msg that gets displayed is shown because the bootloader is unlocked..
Bootloops are common while flashing su...when I flashed super su for the first time, I got 3 or 4 random reboots and took almost 7 to 10 mins for the phone to boot up..
I would suggest using Magisk as a rooting method instead of SuperSU. If you use SuperSU then some apps can detect root and object to you being rooted and Google's SafetyNet gets triggered. Magisk solves this by trying to hide root from apps and Google so that you can use your device as if it wasnt rooted at all (but in fact is rooted). Go the the Magisk forum and download Magisk 13.3 zip from there.
I am assuming you are using OxygenOS (Oneplus's software) and not a custom ROM. Download the Open Beta or Stable build from here/
These steps will erase all the data on your phone permanently (including internal storage) so please backup anything in there.
To fix the DM verity error youll have to follow the steps outlined here
Once you have fixed that, flash oneplus recovery via fastboot which you can download here
To flash it go to fastboot mode, and cd into the folder where you downloaded it. Run the command 'fastboot flash recovery <RECOVERY_NAME>'.
Then run the command 'fastboot oem lock' to lock the bootloader. After you confirm the prompt on screen, the phone will boot into the recovery and youll see a progress bar. Once the progress completes and the screen turns off, be ready to immediately go back to fastboot mode by pressing volume up and power.
When you enter fastboot mode again, run the command 'fastboot oem unlock' and follow the same steps as before.
Once you are in fastboot mode, the phone is now in a clean state with no OS.
Follow the steps outlined on the oneplus website to flash a clean OxygenOS build (stable or open beta as per your taste)
Once the flashing is complete you have to let the phone boot up completely once. When you get to the setup screen, go through it and reach the launcher.
Now we flash TWRP recovery. Reboot to fastboot again. Flash TWRP recovery (I personally use blu_spark's twrp but you can use one of your choice). When it is done, boot into the recovery. Youll now be able to copy magisk zip into the internal sd. Do that, and flash it. Reboot.
Youll now be rooted. If you have any problems holla at me.

[HELP] Can't install TWRP on CHE2-L11

Hi guys.
I can't install TWRP on my CHE2-L11 with terminal emulator (dd if=/sdcard........ ) neither with fastboot.
The strangest thing is that every method says success message bbut when I reboot, the phone always boots into stock recovery.
I remember that about two years ago I managed to install before cwm, and about 2 months later twrp without any problem.
Now I'd like to install RR rom, but I'm still can't install this damn recovery.
Anyone can help me?
Thanks.:fingers-crossed:
Are you sure it boots to recovery and not to eRecovery. (What options it has.) Otherwise it's very weird that it boots to stock recovery after using dd.
No, I'm not... is that eRecovery?
https://www.google.it/search?q=eRec...rmd=ivsn&biw=458&bih=733#imgrc=2Sr1sxsjXA5qtM
Anyway, how to boot into twrp if fastboot command "fastboot reboot recovery" doesn't work?
