The original thread by Blackball for this didn't get much attention, I've been using it for a while without any problems. The original thread contains the instructions in English.

Does this work with the gra ul00 of the p8 cheers and thanks

i know one user who tried it and it works. But if i remember correctly he had problems to use this second sim.

Hey mate I downloaded the weekly 44 so is that the one that will work and sdcard work instead of the sim card 2

KW02 is my latest work. Base on B220

Ok well the kw02 faild but kw44 worked and v1.1 didnt work I am confused to why it said just the update binary failed

If update binary failed you can try two things. First one is copy the rom again to your phone and the second one just reboot into recovery again after failed flashing and try again.

Cant find aa twrp with cust

Look at Android-hilfe.de.
But this one had a reboot Bug. If you reboot into recovery from PC or App you get a TWRP Bootloop.
Only reboot into recovery with Vol and Power Button.

Where is home grid 5X5 ?

No updates

im considering putting this rom on my phone, there are a few questions i have tho.
is this rom more stocklike? the biggest reason for putting on a custom rom is getting rid of Emui, does this accomplish that?
and are you going to develop for marshmallow?

If you have Google chrome dev it translates it for you

Emui is still there because that have lot of features that i dont wanna miss.
Im still working on a CM Rom and Full Debloated Stock Rom but at the moment i dont have much time for
my hobby.

ah thats a real shame. id like it if we got a cyanogen mod for this phone. i dont care all that much for emui since i dislike bloatware in general.

P8Lite 6.0 ALE-L21 (B133) EU single sim

Hi guys & gals, rang up huawei about my version of the p8lite (single sim EU version) to find out when there's going to be an OTA for 6.0. They told me it was coming weeks ago but still no luck. So I was wondering if there's a flash rom of 6.0 bespoke for my version (not beta)??

Ale-l21? Yes there is official rom for marshmallow..

Are you sure this is the update he is using? because when i was asking somebody else what to use they directed me to huwawei site. But when i went to the site im sure it showed different builds what are prerequisite for the update. Now i cant seem to see anything mentioned about corresponding builds though? seems to of disappeared.

So you got the ALE-L21
the european version so the build number starts with C432
You wanna go to android 6 not beta B535 but official single sim B551
But still you want to have the latest version so you're gonna update through OTA ( settings updater -> updater) to B565yeah pretty sure but wich version are you on and

ale-l21432b133 is my build number. There is no OTA being pushed for my build. I've just started downloading b551. I'm not sure whether i should instal it though, i really need this phone and can't risk bricking it. But at the same time i want android6.

Dont install it yet it wont work. You forst have to update to B171 from there you can update to b551 again the thread that @amageek provided has al the software in it. Just look in the chapter converting for the b171 build and follow instructions

I can't find b171 in any chapter?? Also im a single sim.

What do i install, b171 and go from there. or is the b133 update android 6?
Can i install through going into recovery mode

You first install b170 trough local update settings update menu local update then ypu go to b551

Ive extraccted update.app, put it in insternal download file as my sd card is too small, and i cant find it in local. So i forced update through recovery mode, and it keeps getting stuck on 90%. Looks like it isnt going to work

First off all
You have to put the UPDATE.APP in a folder called dload. but that is something you almready know by now
Second use this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/general/mega-thread-root-unbricking-updating-t3400994 (again) to downgrade your phone by using these chapter : Chapter 1, chapter 2, chapter 4 (only single sim files) use the chapters in these order please.
if that's done you should be able to upgrade by following chapter 6
This thread has been tested over and over again en works fine as long as you do wath it says. if you don't know a thing or you have doubts... please leave a message and i will help you as soon as i can. Don't do anything you might think is right because it's probaly not. but you should'nt have to much probs. everything is explained as if you would explaine it to a 3 year old

Hey flashing roms can be nerve wrecking.. You get stuck on some where and you start gettong nervous, but don't worry man, try searching links and you're good to go..
Put that update.app in a folder named dload and place it im your root directory (the one you see when you open your internal memory using file manager) and upgrade it

Just asked Huawei Mobile Romania using Facebook Messenger about this update, lets hope ill get an answer soon about it. Probably the update will appear on phone in waves for users. I think if we need to wait a bit for the update to show up.

Lol :cyclops: i had a P8 lite single sim branded in Vodafone and I unbranded it and updated it to MM.
What I sayed is that, being an oficial update, for sure it will soon be available using OTA.
So dont asume i cant do a manual update. I just prefer to wait a bit. CHEERS

Thanks for the link,but there is a problem. For the first, i'm a new user of Huawei,so i still don't trust this phone like the old one and i can't test everythyng on my own. On the old one i failed a lot of times to install the rom,but wasn't a problem. I was sure i can repair it every time. I made the update to Marshmallow, B560 if i'm not wrong,but in that archive was only a file, UPDATE.APP, , but there are more. So i'm not sure if the proces is the same or not. I don't want to risk and break it

well don't do it then... there are a lot of guides and tutorials on how to update... and because it's an OTA you won't lose your data and apps.. @Azzureux You don't need to wait, it's the same if you do it manual(in Romania o sa ajunga sigur târziu deci nu văd de ce să aștepți)...

if you download and install manual via local update it's same as getting through OTA, you wont loose your warranty, how many time do i have to explain this?
your warranty is voided only if you unlock bootloader or rooting your phone but for these 2, you can undo.

how to install from b564 ???

Soft brick with NRD90M

Hello guys... I have a big problem with my p9 plus It was vie-l09 C432 and now i got NRD90M with no update app, no keyboard ( i installed gboard fortunally) and i can use my phone, but isnt the right way this software !
I have read about two post of this problem and i've seen im not the only one. I followed every post but i can't solve!
I used Firmware Finder and downloaded B360 for vie l09 C432... No keyboard, no updater etc as i said.
I tried to solve flashing b103 with vol+ vol- power button but i got an error... I cant use Project Menu, and i tried again with srk tool and i can't install cust or oeminfo in this way , still not working with errors/no compatible etc.
Without project menu i dont know if my fone is hw eu and other informations... I don't know what to do
What i have to download/to do, to solve this really big problem ? Sorry for my bad english, im italian and i try to write in the best way

U need to first use Rollback and then downgrade to MM

Hi, since I have this problem, will you explain to me how did you do it?

P9 stuck on 166 , any way to get it to a more rescent version.

I have a p9, on os eva-l09c432b166. Unfortunately it cant seem to find any further updates, and the links on this forum for eva-l09c432b167 404. Does anyone have a copy of the needed updates or can say what need to do to get this up to date?

Your can try to ask for update from.hicare app... Also you can try to flash from zero the full.b136... And try to update should arrive at least to 182..And should also suggest the b378 (nougat)

If I recall right, that is how I got to 166, it only went as far as that then wouldnt update anymore

?? Recall? U mean rollback? U don't need to rollback as u r not in nougat... Or maybe I misunderstood...
Try to ask for update from hicare app... If this don't work u can only flash full b136 is the only way... I guess u already tried to manually update with DLOAD + 3 buttons method

I had the same issue a while ago and had to manually update to B182, from there it should update to Nougat automatically, or again like me, you can do it manually. I seem to recall reading that B166 was a beta (or similar) and would never update, so I'd download B182 and update it yourself.
