Successfully flash it on my SPG21 via TWRP
Problem :
sim not detected (no imei)
camera cant capture anything
Any solution
These are common known problems that PA is working on. A fix is expected in a next release of the rom.
I guess those issues should be mentionned in the Rom description.
Sorry I cannot help.

SIM will be fixed in the next release. This was due to missing modem blobs but these have now been added and will be present in the next release.
Camera: Can you please try different resolutions and maybe a different camera app. I don't personally own a Z3 Tablet so can't fully check for this device.
Finally unlocked and flashed a custom rom on my new tablet.
Great to be back to bare android, the bloat was really getting a P in the A
Still getting the hang of flashing on xperia, as i'm used to samsung and nexus devices.
But i think i got it right this time, all seems to be running smooth.
Thank you very much.

Until a fix gets released you can try this xposed module that allows you to edit your imei: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/hijack-suite-t3429770
Best is probably to put your own imei that should be on your phone box. I hope it will make your phone useable in the meantime.
anyone else has sd card corruption? aftery every reboot the external sd is corrupted. on stock rom and cm12.1 it is working fine.
when i flash the lastest rom,TWRP warns my SGP621 is z3 rather than Scorpion and flashing failed. The TWRP works well when i flash cm and stock rom.
I don't know why the error happened。
Please help me,thanks

It caused by flashing the wrong recovery img. Happend to me once when the TWRP warns my SPG21 as a Scorpion_windy and failed to flash the PA scorpion. Solve by flashing the correct twrp img. U can find it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/twrp-v2-8-6-0-f2fs-z1-z1c-z2-z3-z3c-t3098573 or here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=4996503000517182028

Where/What is the " OFFICIAL STOCK ROM" mentioned in the previous step? I haven't installed TWRP on my device yet because I was waiting for a 6+ ROM like this one, so I'll be coming from 100% stock. Does it refer to a stock Sony ROM that's flashed?

Yep, thanks for the quote, I read this guide, I wanted to confirm that the ROM was 6.0.1 stock, as the Scorpion LTE ROM looks scarily small at ~350mb. Cheers.

This is largely due to there being the bare minimum of apps pre-installed. You'll want to install a Gapps package from here for access to Google Play etc.
Can you guys add a recovery to the rom? It's such a pain in the ass to first flash another kernel, boot recovery, flash your stuff and reflash the kernel again. It's even worse when something goes wrong.

Yes, that would be really great if not to difficult.
But no issue if not, love the rom!

Is there a good place to find the latest stock ROM thats TWRP flashable?? I haven't been able to find anything more recent than 5.1.1 in all the root threads.
Edit: NM, found it here.
Can anyone help me with finding a flashable root zip file? don't know where to look for it  thanks in advance

The method is described there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-...torial-stock-android-marshmallow-6-0-t3409486
At the end of post #1 there is a link where you can download the latest Sony rooted stock file.

There our three methods (That may work) to try if it does not want to flash in twrp they our
1. Unmount system then flash
2. Factory Reset, reboot to recovery again then flash
3. Flash CWM and in this case try flashing a alt kernel
Edit: Windy is up

Backed up using TWRP (Was running PAC ROM android 4.3)
Factory wipe, + wipe Dalvik & cache to be sure.
Flashed LiquidSmooth
Wipe Dalvik & cache again - just incase
Reboot - no problem - running LiquidSmooth
I'm now going to flash the provided Slim Gapps zip. Will report back if there's a problem
Testing beta
I will flash this rom also once i'm off work. Thanks for bringing this to the tab Z!
I am curious about this rom. Does it have double tap to wake?

How about looking 2 posts before?
So far this ROM is working excellent on Pollux in Dalvik.
Been using for two days for a total of around 24 hours and not had a single major problem. Very impressed its the slickest ROM I have used yet on 4.4.
I was using cm11 fidelity, then got a random reboot halfway through a game and got stuck in bootloop so thought I'd give this a try.
For anyone having issues, I had flashed cm11 fidelity inc mods then booted into CWM, didn't reflash kernel from laptop (no access at minute) just factory reset and wiped cache and dalvik cache.
Not major but once orr twice on MX player had the common sound bug, where the sound seems to stall for half a second, didn't have this on fidelity but had it on every other 4.4 ROM. One other issue is if you get a notification with headphones in, it still plays through loudspeakers too.
Very well done with this ROM guys thank you.
I dirty flashed it and i dont know why people says to modify first post i got it first try and apparently im not the one...
Well, someone else having trouble to mount SD?
I tried then a clean install and same thing, and also tried it with omni kernel...same thing, also no sd access from rom.

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Care to elaborate on the difference between this and CM?
Hi,
I have a few questions:
1: Does this work on any P9 Lite variant (i have VNS-L21)?
2: Why is archive so big (almost 700mb)?
3: What Open Gapps package do you recommend to flash?
Tnx

1. Yeah,I declared the L"X"1 value to say that it is compatible with both L31 and L21.
2. AICP is "fatter" than CM since it has extra features,so no reason to panic. :silly:
3.I personally use the Pico package and then just install other Google apps which I need. That is the beauty of Open Gapps, you have several options.

And one more question: do i use ARM or ARM64 version of gapps?

@The Marionette thanks for this amazing work. There is some possibility that you can support the VNS-L23 variant? It is practically equal to the L31, with the only differences that do not have NFC support, the bands 4G are different and it has 2GB of RAM. Greetings.
Hey @The Marionette,
I flashed the ROM and i got error that data partition could not be mounted and then when i click to boot in to android the phone boots but it ask for password to start android...
What to do?

Did you follow the instructions or did you do it your own way?
Are you coming from stock?
I think everyone needs to be on CM before flashing.
I flashed it exactly like I described and it booted.
The only downside is that the TWRP goes red(thinks the current ROM is stock) and data can't be mounted. I will look into it.

So now i managed to get past password screen by formating data partition to FAT and then formating it back to ext4 but now when phone boot i get "Decryption unsuccessful" screen and when i click "reset phone" button it reboots in recovery, wipe cache and then boots up back to "Decryption unsuccessful" screen...
I am downloading now Meticulus build to try with that... Will report back soon...
EDIT: I managed to boot AICP!!! By doing this:
First i updated recovery (did not see that Meticulus pushed V2) then i flashed Meticulus CM build but i got "Decryption failed" screen again but this time when i clicked "reset phone" buton the phone just rebooted to TWRP.
Then i did again full harcore wipe and flashed CM with open gapps and the phone booted in to system without problem, from that point i figure that AICP must work now so i rebooted back to TWRP, did another hardcore full wipe, flashed AICP with Open Gapps micro ARM64 version and the phone finaly booted to AICP
Btw i noticed few thing while doing all this... When i first booted CM my SIM card was not recognized but i figured it needs some time to get the signal or wathever but that never hapend and i cheked camera app and in setting of the app i saw that front and back camera was set to full resolution and the photo i took was really in full (13Mpix) resolution... After checking that and few more things i flashed AICP and at first boot my SIM still not working so i figure i will reboot and after second boot the SIM works again but in this ROM front and back camera are set to 2.1mpix (not a problem for me, just saying for ppl to know)...
Now i am going to play with this awesome ROM!
Thanks @The Marionette
EDIT 2: So after few hours of playing with AICP i been forced to go back to stock because my mobile network gone crazy, every 5-10 minutes it disapear and only reboot helps to get connected again and when network disapears the UI get so much lag that is almost unusable...
I can confirm that other things in ROM work as it should, fingerprint, themes, sound bar, navigation bar customization, lcd density, UI animations customizations etc...
Nice work and keep up the good work! ?
So I am running this ROM on my device since yesterday and I really like it. Seems very stable and allows for a lot of modifications.
It drains a lot of battery while listening to music when the device is locked but I also experienced this on the CM ROM.
I am keeping it on my device for now and am looking forward to new updates
Hello @The Marionette,
May I ask you if you plan to update the AICP ROM with the update from CM? Thank you

As reported on our Z2 Forum BT can not be switched off.
UPD: Switches on and off after reboot.
A new rom that will keep Xperia Z2 Alive...thanks
And as far as i know, RR O maybe will be released next year..maybe
Something is really wrong with microsd card mount in system. It detects like a new card after each reboot. File system exFAT. Also there is second fat for APPS2SD (f2fs).

Dear dev.I wanted to humbly ask,
has the option to set WiFi region code been completely disabled. It was available in nougat so since its no longer there...I guess its not going to appear later on in the future either.is it?
Oh and great work there.its extremely faster when compared to nougat.and also smoother. Thanks!!!!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to update my bootstack before flashing?
Yes, if you don't come from B32 stock it's necessary to update your boostack and modem. That files
can be found under the download section.
Does this rom support modifications?
No, because I don't know how every modification out there exact works which can cause
problems with debuging and overall stability.
Does this rom support custom kernels?
No, because this falls under the same section as modifications, but every kernel that is based
on the source of the stock kernel of this rom, should work fine.
Will you add feature or app XYZ?
No, our team decides democratically and we only want unique or necessary features
without overloading the rom. Also should the rom work the same no matter which device
it's used on.
Why isn't everything working flawlessly?
Remember, this is a Beta build for testing purposes. Also are this build based on old
N proprietary blobs and since ZTE didn't release any new for now it's impossible to fix
certain issues.
When will a new build drop?
When I think it's alright. I don't want to release untested work.
Downloading. Thank you very much for your work.

Flash universal bootloader
I installed it as soon as it hit AFH. Flashed bootloader and modem. No problems with install other than a corrupt sd notice. Working on that. Data/Wifi/Bluetooth operational. The camera doesn't fc but is very dark and takes dark images. Known issue, so let's move on. Substratum works. Mono looks sweet on 8.1. The big cluster doesn't seem to be downclocking on Interactive. Switching to Conservative solves that. Too early to tell much else. Gratz on a solid first release!
Edit: I backed up my SD card, formatted it and copied everything back. It's working fine. I've had this problem with a few other Oreo builds. Not sure why Oreo sees it as corrupted initially.

Good work, keep it up! ??
Nice job, this is the most stable "first release" I've ever seen!
This is the 2nd day I'm testing this ROM , it is very stable, WiFi, bluetooth, audio, camera.
Everything wotks fine. They only one issue I found a few minutes back its the sound. I was cresting a fullbackup with TWRP to my mSD, then when the phone started again a very very loud sound came from the speaker. It was a notificaction, I tried with músic an found that all kind of sound that cames from the speaker is ver y very lound and broke, even if I put the volumen at minimum.
I think this is a ver y good start for a first realease I really hope this issue gets fixed soon.
If there is a way I can help you to improve this ROM please let us kown. At least I can provide logs or something when this kind of issue happens.
Many thanks for you'r hard work @Astrako. This is one of the best ROM I have tried for this device,

That is a hardware bug, you only need to shutdown device and will be fixed. It must be a some kind of static remaining in circuits and it happens even with stock. Only way to fix is that.
Very cool to see the phone still getting new roms. Before getting rid of my S9 Port, I was wondering, if the Android 10 iOS style gestures are supported? Since the phone has a home button, they might be disabled but I'd really prefer using gestures over the soft keys (back and recents).
Anyways, thank for the work!
Hello
I have been unable to make the rom work in my phone.
My phone model is A320FL.
The process I have followed to install the rom is the following one:
1. Install this stock A320FLXXS4CSG2_A320FLHUI4CSG1_HUI
2. Install root
3. Install twrp
4. Twrp -> Wipe -> Format data
5. Twrp -> Wipe -> Advanced wipe -> clean davlik, cache, data and system
6. Install rom and google apps open_gapps-arm64-10.0-nano-20191209-BETA.zip
The first time the google apps gave me an error indicating that the sdk version was incorrect; and when I tried to boot without installing it I wasn't able.
I have executed again the steps 5 and 6 and this time I was able to install google apps but the rom didn't boot, the phone only showed the crdroid animation.
This is the logcat of the booting of the rom the 2nd time: https://del.dog/tuzapuckuc

Looks interesting, can't wait to see if it gets to stable.

You have done two bad things:
1. Asking for support without having pushing "Thanks" button in first post of this thread. This is something very disrespectful, but I see that is a extremely bad and common behaviour in XDA.
2. You haven't format vendor partition. In the installation instructions in repartition script and this rom threads is written, but you haven't done, I guess because you haven't read the 5 steps of rom installation. Again a very bad and common behaviour in XDA.
Any chances of a a5 port? ?

Thanks for your help, I have managed to install the rom and everything work as expected.
The problem was that I wasn't restarting the phone after using the script to do the repartition. After that I have had also to not to install twrp before reboot.

Does this work with the A5 2017? I'm guessing not but this is the only ROM with Android 10, so I thought I'd ask if it supports it. If not, is it possible for this to be ported to the A5?
