Root Safety Question - SM-G925V - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Greeting All,
I'm currently using a G925VVRU1AOC3 with Android v 5.0.2 rooted with Ping Pong. I'd love to use the Xposd Framework which lead me down the rabbit hole of reading in TWRP, etc, etc.
My goal now is to skip all of that and move to a 6.0 Rooted version of Marshmallow if possible. What's the best and safest way to do that? I have never flashed the device yet and want to make sure I am doing thing properly so I don't have myself a fancy brick.
If 6.0 isn't possible what's the best way to move forward with getting the Xposd framework on my phone?
Thanks in advance for the help!

How'd you root? I have a G925V and I can not root with Ping Pong Root.

im on 5.0.2 so i could root, i don think it works if u used an OTA update.

There is no current method for upgrading to Marshmallow while retaining root, and as development is as good as dead for this phone, there likely never will be.

[Q] Rooting Verizon Galaxy Tab with 2.3.5

I just bought a bunch of tabs for my business. I rooted one before I updated it and it worked fine, but wouldn't update. I then updated one and now it won't root.
I'm really a total noob when it comes to rooting. I haven't even touched flashing. I would rather keep it as stock as possible. I'm mostly rooting it to remove bloatware. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas, please help.
I've run superoneclick 2.2 and run zergrush, but that seems to stall out.
Currently, the only way to root 2.3.5 is to flash a pre-rooted rom. I'm using "Galaxy Cubed" you can find it under dev section.

I hate to ask, but is there a decent guide to doing that? Also is the process reversible?

Alright so what's the deal with the OTA?

So I'm ready to root n do TWRP but I hear on here ppl saying the Ota update slowed there phones down. I also heard from some that xposed was the cause after they rooted Can we get a few straight answers please? I just want to know if I should update b4 rooting or stay on the first baseband version and avoid the trouble. Any info on your experiences is appreciated thanks!

Note 4 Rooting?

Hey guys. please help me. I bought a note 4 the normal one (SM-N910F) and have lollipop on it. I'd like to root it but I don't know if this is possible because it has lollipop. Can anyone give me some advice please. Or would you rather suggest me Rooting it or not since it's new.
If you root your device, you active the knox flag 0x1 and lost your warranty, but with root you can do all things like customize your device with a new rom and some mods, and the best option is delete all bloatware.
Root is admin permission.

I would always root the phone to get rid of bloatware and improve perfomance, get CPU control etc.
The best way for me to root it is the CWM or TWRP recovery method.

oneclick root for the GT-I8190?

hi
im a complete noob when it comes to rooting/flashing roms and stuff on android devices (the sticky was top complicated for me to understand). so can anyone give me a one click root application that works with the GT-I8190 with Android 4.1.2? i don't particularly care much for the custom roms, i just want my phone to gain root access. but if you have a rom that'll improve the gaming performance of my device, then please share it with me. and please it won't brick my s3 mini, won't it? i don't want my phone to get bricked.
Hi, look here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2459910
It worked great for my stock samsung rom.

[Q] Any reason why I shouldn't update to lollipop before root

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I'm wondering if there is any reason not to update to lollipop before rooting.
I'm on N910TUVU1ANK4 right now and I've been holding out hope for a root that doesn't trip Knox but I'm starting to give up on that hope.
Anyways, this rom had been pretty solid, I've disabled as much bloat as I can without root and am a bit nervous to upgrade but I've now got an annoying upgrade notification and I'm thinking about just doing it.
So is there anything I should know before I update about rooting or even staying I stock and waiting for another root method?
Thanks so much.

Knox will always be here and will always trip... but lollipop isn't that bad, lots of development still and improvements. Most people seem to like it.

Thank you tonyevo52. I know other phones have root that doesn't trip Knox so I was hoping.
