I have the Spigen Neo Hybrid and their Thin Fit case, the Neo Hybrid is definitely the best case that I have seen, just don't get it in the clear version since it yellows over time, especially with wireless charging use.
I have spent so much money on cases, I bought a Piel Frama's SlimFrama case, a Noreve case, couple of Spiegen cases, and none I enjoyed using. So now up using my S7E without a case.

I personally bought samsung clear cover and spigen carbon armor. But eventually allready 2 or 3 months i'm using only dbrand skin on the back. Phone is slim and beautiful.
Just bought the 1st one off ebay. Personally i have a thin case currently but it is diwsnt absorbs drips to well. Granted all the scratches are on fhe case n not my phone but cause of all tbe drops i had my screen swapped due to dead pixels.

I bought my dad the Spigen Tough Armor case and it really does not like screen protectors. It constantly pushes it out because of how tight it is to the case.
The other, I have not much clue but I think I would recommend the Ghostek 2.0 because it does offer screen protection as well as a layer of protection to the Home Button. The home button gets scratches, which is a faulty Samsung thing. :\

Agreed. It's the only case I've tried that helps with accidental touches of the edge display during typing. It's also the only case that has tall enough side bevels that actually protect the display (with no lost functionality). Most other cases for whatever reason keep them way too low for no reason other than questionable aesthetics.
I've got the neo hybrid from spigen and I'm happy with it. It works with their screen protectors and also the BSE case fit screen protector skin.
Samsung clear cover the one that covers the back only not the flip scratch case

I got the tough armor a few days ago an its perfect. Feels great while holding and goves better grip. The neo seems slimmer but if u want good protection for accidental drops and a kickstand i recommend it.
Note the kickstand seems a bick thin and might brake easily i think but i do with out it if it ever does.
Spigen Thin Fit = the sexiest, lowest protection
Incipio & caseology = decent protection , medium bulk
UAG = max protection , max bulk & thick as a brick
Check here
I really recommend the PureGear Dualtek Pro. It's a great, safe and beautiful case.
ewww
For me it's like a crime to smash that ugly case to a such beautiful device, but if I would buy a case, it would buy just something thin so it's barely visible on the phone but protects it a bit at the same time.
Just my opinion though.
I got the Speck Dark Case for the Onyx s7 edge. Looks fantastic.

Sent in my phone because the charging port stopped working, and I'd like to buy a new case for my m8.
I am looking for something that looks decent and adds protection, with support for a tempered glass screen protectors.
I had a spigen case before this for a few months and the back is already scratched and looks very unappealing now.
Does anybody have recommendations?
I've always been a fan of UAG cases aka urban armor gear http://www.urbanarmorgear.com/.
Every so often they have specials going on as well.
I've been very happy with my Trident Aegis case. $20 on Amazon and offers excellent protection. I've dropped my phone several times and the case has held up well. I've had it nearly a year now with no issues.

Check out the Amazon reviews.
I bought and reviewed 3 cases here in my post. I've since then ditched the dilex as it seems a bit bulky and have switched over to a black supcase unicorn beetle with a red body since i was replacing the usb/3.5mm board on my phone. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2728080 I hope that might be some help to you.
spigen hybrid. transparent, great materials, very strong
Yup, i think UAG has one of the nicest looking tough case out there.
Thanks for the contribution! I have the case too and I'm loving it. Very stylish, great protection, and yet still maintaining a thin profile. I dropped the phone a few times already and the case has protected the phone well. Highly recommended!
Good Video. Always been a fan of the Spigen cases.
did you try and use it with the glass screen? in the video he tried with the metal frame on, maybe it will fit with silicone only first then add the bumper?
I'm a fan of the Neo Hybrid; I wish they had a Slim Armor case, the one I had with my Nexus 5 was a great 'middle ground' between rigidity, solid feel, and not being too heavy or thick. I tried a TON of cases with my N5, from Spigen Neo Hybrid and Slim Armor to the bulkiest Seidio cases, and I ended up going with the Slim Armor when I wanted to get away from belt cases/clips/holsters and started putting it in my pocket.
The Rugged Armor case for the OP3 doesn't feel very rugged to me. Not to say it's bad quality or anything, but just not what I'd consider 'rugged'. I had more of a Slim Armor feel in mind when I bought it; I've been switching back and forth between the Neo Hybrid and Rugged Armor for a couple of weeks, probably end up sticking with the Neo Hybrid. Until I flip-flop and change cases again

I'd agree, The "Rugged" Armor isn't rugged at all, I've mocked it in several places around the internet. The Neo Hybrid is a much better case.

The Hybrid is probably the same level of protection as the Rugged Armor, just clear so you can still see the phone. The Neo Hybrid is def the best level of protection out of the three.

The phone is beautiful, but all that glass...
I always keep cases and screen protectors on my phones. I am too paranoid not to.
Most likely not. I want to keep the phone as thin and compact as possible, not have sharp edges when holding it (usually on the sides or the charging/speaker cutouts), it really ruins the look and feel of the phone, and after some use the cases and screen protectors get all scratched up since it's plastic.
I'm using an otterbox on mine simply because I'm forever dropping my phone at work and don't want to damage the phone.
Yes, glass screen protector, DBrand dragon skin and clear tpu case

yes but no.
I use the Rhinoshield crash guard. Its a bumper so the front and rear are open. But they test there crash guard @ 11 ft drops.
I have one on my s8 plus and its great. And see tons of drop videos from high drop and the phone works.
So im going to stick with that.
I do like the feel of a casless phone and that is the closest i can get to it. Rather have something and not need it then need it and not have it.
I see some of you guys have a screen saver!!!
When did any brand manage to make a screen saver that worked on any Galaxy edge device? I have owned the lot and tried dozens of panzer glass, plastic, part fitting, glued and goodness knows what and have never found a satisfactory screen saver for a device with that bloomin curved edge.
To that end I always use a case then keep it in a shocksock or a wallet type case that is most annoying to use but offers all around protection. I have even paid nearly 60.00€ for the official Samsung LED cover on several of my mobiles because I can't find a screen saver. Helppppp.
Please tell me what screen saver you have found. I would be very much obliged. Thanks.

I'm using a Spigen Neo Hybrid case, and a Spigen Neo Flex screen protector. I like the Neo Hybrid cases because they don't add much bulk and have been great for protection, even minor drops on my previous phones.

Has anyone tried some new thin cases? The Note 8 is a slim sexy phone. It sucks to put it in a thick bulky case. Show us what y'all have in thin cases.
I bought these 3
The first one was from Best Buy and I like it alot and its the one I use the most. Nothing fancy just a thin case TPU soft in the hands.
The second one I got off of eBay it's blue with a clear acrylic back. Don't get that one the cut out for the finger print scanner is to small. I cut it out some more to make it work. It's a ok case if you don't mind cutting it yourself.
The third one is from Ghostek it's 40 dollars it has a aluminum frame and a acrylic clear back. It's still a little thick for me but a damn well built case. I did not even use it I am going to sell this one.

Yeah I had one of these on my V20.
I've bought a few cases across the last week.
I personally prefer the thin fit from spigen
It has a nice slightly rubberised hard finish and the case itself keeps the phone feeling nice and thin
Supports spigen screen protector and the awful glass one I've tried... I'm going to plunge and buy the dome glass protector so here's hoping that fits too

I was looking at that Spigen but I did not like the corners. How they have a crack in them. I thought more dust would get in and not as good drop protection.

Ok here is two more that came in today. Both are so so.
The first on I got off of ebay. They made it sound like the end caps were metal. Which they are not they are cheap looking plastic. But it's ok
The second one I got from Amazon. I like it but don't think it has much drop protection. Thin thin thin.
I got the Spigen Neo Hybrid, I am very happy with it so far. The tpu layer is stiffer than most tpu layers I've used before, which feels nice, and the metal trim, while thin and a bit more pliant than I would prefer, looks great. Fortunately I haven't dropped it, but it feels like it would survive most reasonable falls. It's much thinner than my wife's otter box commuter and only $15 on amazon.
I got the Spigen ultra hybrid crystal clear case, and I live it. Have bought these before, they don't yellow and last a long time. Great for letting my dbrand Dragon skin show !!

I work in construction, as well. The case I'm looking for needs to be dust and waterproof, so I researched them all. Most are not dust-tight, or waterproof, at all, but there are a couple. I reviewed two on here the other day, and that thread is down just a bit from this one.
ArmorX is what I'm using, right now. As soon as Juggernaut gets theirs out for the Note 8, I'm probably dropping the money on one... I've seen the Juggernaut cases take some serious abuse, and I'm pretty sure that whatever they come out with for the Note 8 is going to be the most protection you can get on the market.
I'm using this case: https://www.spigen.com/collections/galaxy-note-8/products/galaxy-note-8-case-rugged-crystal
It's so cute and sexy but may not be suitable with construction.

How long have you been using that case? I'm reading on Amazon that some people are saying on the first drop their screen broke with that case.
Love the UAG Monarch. I haven't dropped my phone yet (fortunately), but it feels so solid and protective while maintaining a much slimmer profile than the Otterbox.
Is the supcase unicorn pro with the screen protector have a soft or hard inner case design? Does the N8 sit on hard or soft plastic?
