Flashed the last version of CM 13 NIGHTLY into my Moto G and the SIM isn't working properly, it asks me for the code to unlock the SIM Card but I get "No Service", everything else works as expected.
The IMEI seems to be fine.
When I "jump" into the "*#*#4636#*#*" I can't turn on the Radio, neither change to GSM or anyting else since it goes back after reopening.
Tried:
- Flashing with different versions of TWRP.
- Flashed stock ROM and the 6.0.
From the research I did I think I need to flash a modem firmware with the Radio(which I can't find) or a new Kernel - need advise on this one.
Thanks.

I unlocked this T-Mobil LG L90 last year, it worked fine at that time. Then the phone has been left idle for a long time. Now I find out this phone won't recognize any sim card, even a T-Mobil sim card. It keeps showing "No SIM card-Searching" or "Service Disabled". What shall I do? Please help me.
I have the same issue .....
I got it unlocked the phone from Tmobile and used it overseas and when i got back after 4+ months and put tmobile sim it doesnt recognize any more.....I checked the sim in other phone it is working fine.
How do you resolve it?
Bump, any solution? Tried with LoS from 2019 and Incipient ROM - no SIM card (there is IMEI so EFS is fine).
EDIT:
Nevermind - I am blind.

PS. Now I've baseband
Tip (maybe someone will use it in the future): For D405n if you have v20c patch installed (check in Device Info, I had it with Lollipop), flash aboot version "a" (patch for version c is unavaible. It will "change" your model to D410 in Device Info.
But you need still to flash D405n BOOTSTACK, not for D410 if you want to install newer custom ROM. I've spent much time to get this to work.
So I flashed Dr. Ketan's ROM and saw that the model number displayed was wrong, simple aesthetics I know, I decided to edit the build.prop settings to fix this, when I restarted my phone, it suddenly displayed that I had network sim locked. What I found out next is that if I only place my main sim, there would be no problem, but if I add a second sim to sim slot 2, the network sim locked appears. I even re-flashed a stock rom, still the same issue. Can anyone help? thank you
EDIT: to clarify, both sim slots were working just fine before I flashed Dr. Ketan's ROM and edited the build prop setting to fix model number.

this is strange issue and i believe a rom can not do this. Did you try flashing any other kernel? is your sim password locked?

Those were my thoughts. None of my sim cards are password locked. Tried them on a different phone which was definitely unlocked. Both sims are working fine. Brought it to my carrier (I'm not from the US) and explained to them my problem. I also mentioned how weird my situation was in the sense that both my sim gets network locked if both sims occupy sim 1 and 2 slots but if I use my carrier's sim( the carrier with whom I have a plan with) then the sim would function normally, otherwise network sim locked.
My carrier declared it defective and is now shipping a new one. I guess that somehow solves my problem. It just irks me though that my experience seems to be so unique that I couldn't find any solution online and no one with whom I've talked to seems to know how to remedy the problem.
edit: I did not flash any kernel, I had stock kernel the entire time.
Hi,
I recently installed CM11 (final official snapshot) to my stock rom slot (I had it on rom slot 1 before, but changed to stock because it is a lot faster). Everything seems to work, but the SIM is not recognized anymore. Calls, SMS and Data (2G and 3G, since I am in Europe, 4G does not work anyways) work fine.
The lockscreen says "No SIM Card, Emergency calls only" (or something like this, I am translating this). The signal strength is always reported as 0% or -120 dBm, even though the signal is fine.
When I go to Phone Status, it tells me that my phone number, MIN, PRL-Version and Serial Number are unknown.
Network Cell Info Lite tells me that "SIM Status" is unknown and that it can't read any info from the SIM, but connectivity is fine.
On the old installation everything was fine.
I tried all the usual things (rebooting, reinserting the SIM, ...)
Does anyone know what could be the cause?
Edit: SMS is not working. And a factory reset did not help.

you installed over the stock rom on the stock slot instead of another slot am I correct. Also witch version of ss are you using.
Ok, I finally had some time to test a bit more. I am using Safestrap 3.75. The problem also exists if I install the ROM (tested with the newest two official snapshots) to a clean regular ROM-slot (I used slot 2). It does not exist, when I load the old installation that I have on slot 1, which is based on some old version from mid-2014. So it does not seem to have anything to do with the slot or the phone. I will be trying other versions.
Hi,
Stock XT1803 phone and stock rom - Android 8.1 latest updates etc
Sim card inserted and registered to network, but no signal bars.
Radio reported as off - have reflashed the modem as per a guide in here - no change
when turning on `automatically select network` the device reports registered which i find strange
sim works fine in another phone, an alternate sim performs the same strangeness in this phone
Have reset to factory.
Any assistance gratefully accepted
I am new to Android Custom ROM and everything. I got this phone from a local vendor and it was running a custom rom called "LamLazy Rom v3.0 Dual SIM" - I researched on it and figured it was used to convert N950N to N950F or something like that.
I have the EFS and TWRP complete backup of the LamLazy ROM. I wanted to try LineageOS 17.1 on my device and flashed it using TWRP. After the successful flashing, I noticed my phone can no longer connect with my network. I cannot make or receive phone calls. I tried every possible thing that I knew. Even flashed series of Custom ROMs, on every other rom I faced the same network issue.
However, when I revert back to LamLazy it works fine. I can use both of my SIM slots and my phone shows 2 IMEI's while on lineage and other it shows only one IMEI.
Now, my problem is I want to get rid of LamLazy and try new ROMs such as Pixel Experience and LineageOS, but my cellular network doesn't work. Can someone please help me with this? :crying:
