Can't connect to odin

I can't connect with odin multi downloder .
I must use which's odin for update ?

Odin and odin multidownloader is the same just dat it is shorten to odin and I also use odin ver4.38

If you downgrade with kdz updater will brick your phone, you need flash it with bin, fls files and Smart Flash Tool, sorry for my bad english

[Q] jelly bean install help.

i have limited bandwidth and i downloaded the file mentioned in Samsung updates site
it only has a md5 file
is it possible to install this though odin
the site i refer has other fields in odin

You have to put the md5 in pda section of odin

Yes and only f.reset time and auto reboot ticked.

if i installed this, and after wards when Samsung officially released jelly bean for my country , would i be able to use it
can i installed android 2.3 in same way by downloading from Samsung-updates .com if i encounter box problem or i didn't like it

you need to reflash back the official JB if there were any for your country again just like what you did now

my pc broke down.. can i install/upgrade Serbia version using CWM.? right now im using Russia version

Deodexed LQB will do the job I think. Search a bit for it.

Re-partition

Hello everybody
I would like to maka a re-partition on my phone with odin.
I have read that i need for a repartition 3-4 files. Now i downloaded the xxlqe and there is just one md5 file. Where are the other files? How can i make a repartition?

you need one .pit file that is specific to your target system / hardware version.
I mean GB or JB and 8GB or 16GB storage.
Then you select this .pit file in pit section and check 're-partition' rest is the same as no repartition method for flashing any rom in pda section

And from where i get the pit file?
I read that i need for a repartition all 4 files(pda,csc, modem and pit file).
From where i get all the files?

here you are... choose the ...8G.pit if you have a 8 gb s advance and the 16 gb.pit file for 16 gb phones

Thanks but do i need the other files(csc and modem) for a repartition when i have now a tar.md5 and a pit file.
Are these files enough? I read sth about a brick.

How can i expand the system storage of samsung s advance? i have tried expanding galaxy note 1 from 2gb system storage to 8gb so that i can install more apps.
is it possible to do that with samsung s advance? can i use the pit file given above? and flash it with stock rom using ODIN?

[ Stuck at Welcome Screen ] Loop force close / softbrick

Hi guys , i'm have galaxy s advance problem , i'm already backup my apps and data to sdcard ,
last night i'm rebooting my s advance but after reboot my s advance back to welcome screen [ First screen after purchase ]
and there are start button , and gapps force close , SecSetupWizard force close , and i can't get to my homescreen :silly:
i already try factory reset from recovery , clear cache partition , clear dalvik cache from cwm , fix pemissions but still force close and back to welcome screen again
i want to flash my s advance , but my questions is flashing fix my problem ?
any tutorial to flashing to fix the problem ?
i can get to download mode :angel:
my s advance status :
Rooted
Stock Jelly Bean
Stock Kernel

If you can boot into download mode, you don't need to worry about anything.
Download Odin v 3.07, search google or XDA.
Download preferred firmware from sammobile.com or samsung-updates.com. Extract it, you'll get a .md5 file of about 700 MB.
Open Odin, choose that file under PDA, Connect phone in download mode. Flash It.

I already flash it , but the problem is still happening
or i need format system then flash it again ?

Problem solved by downgrade Jelly bean to GingerBread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2100642
But now the baseband is xxxx
How to fix it ?
