Good day all! I was recently given an A8+ 2018 with a A730FXXU3BRK3 variant model. The last update was the one with November 2018 Security patch and whenever i try to check for updates online it says im on the latest. I know there's a Dec-Jan update. Help guys im lagging behind, i may not also get the Android Pie update

First thing Android pie update will takes months to get it.
They seem to do Russia first to test so be patient it going to take a while to get it.
Samsung is going to be slow on this one.
Just to clarify, does A8+ have a Dec-Jan security patch update? Because i badly need that. I've been hitting the check update option on settings and it says I'm on the latest which is November.

Help! I haven't gotten december update!

Hello,
I dont understand what is going on with my A70FN. Everybody I know that uses A70 has gotten December update while some are even receiving January update already. I haven't received my own December update. I check everyday if samsung has sent it to me but it keeps saying I'm on the latest update(1st of November 2019).
Please, what can I do to get out of this situation?
They are very hit and miss with the updates for the A70. You should check your three letter software version on third line under 'Service Provider SW ver' in Software information' in 'About Phone'. Then you can check the page below to see if you;re up to date for your software version.

There's also a thread on this forum somewhere that I can't find at the moment that lists the firmwares available. My BTU version phone got updated from September Security patch to January Security patch just this week.
here is the firmware you need to always have latest firmware before everyone:

Question DECEMBER/JAN UPDATE - S21 ULTRA - SNAPDRAGON - U1

Has anyone gotten the update for the US unlocked version?
This is very strange. I have minor bugs and i was hoping the December patch would solve but it seems the lapse has already begun for this device.
Strangely enough locked versions have received December patch ( Only verizon i think)
If anyone can shed some light... please do and does it make sense flashing verizon firmware on this device.
Hi, is this your version?

I got this update not via software update in settings but via biometrics and security settings.

I got the BUKK OTA update this morning on my unlocked S21 Ultra here in the USA on the Visible network.
It does have the December 2021 security update and I believe it was around 300 mb in size. I can't tell you what it fixed, since the 120 Hz bug was fixed in a previous update, and that was the only real bug that bothered me.
Just got the January update here in Germany. Lots of stuff updated...
I just got BUKK on my s21 ultra unlocked in the US, I use t-mobile as my carrier. Hopefully the January update comes out with some more fixes soon.
I just flashed my Sprint SM-G998U to a U1 and got the update last night
Bukk... Jan 5th Dec security
Bule... Jan 10th Jan security
hello friends, WiFi calling is not working after BUKK update, is it working for you?

Question S21 ultra still on one ui 3.0

I bought a used galaxy s21 ultra from a local store that buys & sells and used phones. It's network unlocked with att firmware. It is using Android 11 and one is 3.1. Its latest security patch is Sept 1 2021 When I attempt to update, the phone, it tells me that it's up to date.
Is it normal for a recent flagship device to be over a year behind on security updates and coming now it's about to be 2 Android versions behing
What is the version of your s21 ultra...
SM-G998U
You can check here what the latest firmware is for the phone:
https://samfrew.com/model/SM-G998U/
Change CSC maybe?
Can you post the exact build?
Prob someone manually flashing the wrong firmware on it so no AT&T OTAs will work, but easily fixed.
If you post the version it should be obvious.

There are ways to manually update it, using a PC
