kaiser wont charge

When I try to charge it from the charger it enters in the bootloader and it shows USB, if I remove the charger it shows SERIAL. The same thing happends when I connect it to the computer through USB. I don't see the orange led that shows that is charging. When I remove the cable in a few minutes it will shutdown, the battery has 2-3% power.
What can I do?

That's cool
Problem you have is that if so low on battery you don't want to hard-reset or flash a ROM.
I'd advise getting a new battery to see if that helps.

the products made in china are good or bad? can I do something else to fix the problem?

G1 wont charge battery and turn off, but in recovery mode works!! help!!!!

Hi, how are you? I buy a phone on ebay that won´t hold charge and always says 0 battery in android, so i have to connect to the wall charger to turn on and I keep the usb cable in the phone to use it, the phone works, and in the battery status shows that is connected to the charger, now when i put the phone in recovery mode i only use the usb cable to tur on, later remove the usb cable and the the phone hold charge and works! with the batery, but only in recovery mode,
Battery are good, have 3 batteries all tested in other g1 working and holding charge.
any one can help me? please.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I do that, but is always the same, the phone won´t charge the battery even if a put a full charged battery in the phone, so to turn on the phone in normal boot, the phone has to be connected to the usb cable and shutdown when it´s boot.
but when i boot in recovery mode, have to turn on with usb cable, and in boot mode remove the usb cable and battery works for like 20 hours. =/ hope that any can help me. and again sorry for my poor english.

Sound like you have the hardware problem. Is the charger the original charger for the G1?

Hello. I've used my phone and charging and at one second the charge stops and do not want to charge anymore at use. I've use GDX i turned off my phone and its going to charge. But i wait few time the phone is not charged, but discharged.
It's difficult to start charging so pls help me my USB cable is new.

after flash kernel - backup thenn dont forget to
factory reset, wipe dalvik, battery stats
flash ROM
done

I done this but i use stock kernel

Try to charge with usb PC, maybe not cable broken, but the carger.

cz its work on my phone

Today I went to a shop in town, I saw two person who do noise because that their phone (Xperia x8) does not charge, and second time it came to warranty, so it's something hardware.

maybe turning off ur x8 and charge will help.

Have you tried to Repair through Sony update service ?

i had this problem yesterday my battery was 5 % try to take off the battery and then place it back hold it and connect the usb so it can charge again i did that and it worked you may need to move the battery up down so it can connect it worked for me try it and tell me.

I nave this problem too..just put to charge and wait 30-1 hr

if it charging with pc it is a charger issue...

I get charge problem on many roms. Sometimes is my cable the problem, but i just reboot phone and my phone start charging

the charger isnt broken cause if u try different it wont charge its battery fault i think

I really don't understand why when my phone on it not charging when the wall charger plugged 0.o .
I use stock rom and stock kernel .. my phone rooted
Please guys help me ( I want to solve this issue .

battery not charging (Hardware porblem)

hi
i'm charging with usb wall charger, its not charging ,only show logo then reset (loop)
I did everything software ways
Before charg is empty i try flashtool to change rom its disconnected when flashtool is flashing and i use youtube.com/watch?v=PLsn5Zs3nVA its work but this way pass the logo but it stock in 1% charging and does not do anything
it's only hardware problem,please help
i try the thread a user hardware fix to connect battery to th in board with cable but that not working.
