hi,
so i've had the miui rom installed on my GT-i9000 for a while and wanted to switch to a different rom. every time i installed a new rom with clockworkmod, however, it would not work and i had to go back to install miui (which worked). so to fix this i thought i might have to flash a different kernel with odin before installing a new rom. i flashed the GalaxianEE Kernel with odin because the rom i wanted to install (f1 galaxy sII v7) runs on this kernel. so after odin was finished, the phone went out of download mode, rebooted, and then got stuck at the loading screen of the kernel. this happens every time i turn the phone on. so then i booted into clockworkmod to try to install a rom. but when cwm starts up, it shows a page full of errors:

with this :
dl.dropbox.com/u/19506141/flash%20en%20drivers/Odin_%2B_pit.exe
you should be allright.
use the pit 512 file in odin and be sure to tick repartition...

I was having issue with my cm7 crashing so i done a factory reset to reinstall and got this. Not i cannot access my phone.

Thanks
Finally fix blimming thing. was doing my head in. CM7 screwed up my system.
I have exactly the same thing going on first with CWR then with ext4. Any help would be astronomically appreciated.

Flash jm9 with odin. Repartition, pit 512. Then flash a stock gb rom, then install cm (or required rom) as per instructions.

Hi
I am not sure what happened. But i had a rom with the ext 4 partition. I thought i would try cm7.1 and it worked fine for about five days. Then it kept crashing.
I wiped my phone to re-install and that's when clockworkmod could not access my phone.
To fix it in the end. I installed darkcore kernel as for some reason it could see my phone. I then install a darky rom all using odin.
created the ext4 partition as it had vanished.
Then installed my kernel and rom and all is well. and even faster.
Running simplicity 1.51 and semaphone kernel 1.80 with ext4.
I am not an expert but this worked. don't ask me why. i just think CM7 caused an issue with the partition maybe. not sure just glad it's working. need my phone.
Hope this might help

Flash your CWM version through bootloader then go into CWM and wipe partition cache and dalvich cache. Reboot into system and all should be well.

When entering recovery mode in CWM I now get this (didn't earlier).
So it seems CWM can't access the internal SD card?
However the phone boots and works properly.
Of course I can't use backup of do any upgrades using CWM now due to this, driving me nuts.
Ideas?

How do I get it back working again?
No No my advice was a solution try ODIN another kernel.
Hi guys ,
So i installed CM10 on my galaxy s but i didn't like the music player alternatives.
Before installing cm10 i made a backup i didn't had any custom rom installed before cm10.
so after using cm10 for a few weeks i decided to restore the backup from cwm.
I cleared the cache and dalvik cache and restore the backup.
then i rebooted the phone and it hanged on the GT-I9000 screen, so i decided to boot into cwm.
Then i saw this:

I found almost similar threads, but they had another cause of the problem and the solution for those threads were not clear to me.
NOTE: 1. Sorry for my english im dutch. 2. i dont know a lot about stuff like this so a simplified explanation or tutorial would be helpfull
TY VM guys
With what tool did you make the backup??? Clockwork Mod Recovery???
CM 10.x is based on CWM-Recovery and i think the backup of before your test with CM10. is not compatible with CWM Recovery ...
Maybe you have to get back via odin to the android-version you had before and flash then the backup ...

Don't worry, your download mode is probably OK so it will be OK then
Your mistake was that you've tried to restore nadroid image that was created with different ROM, kernel or CWM recovery version. If only one of these isn't the same, you can end in bootloop, losing the possibility to boot into recovery or to reboot the system.
The solution: you must flash exactly the same ROM, kernel and CWM version like before and then you can restore your nandroid backup without any problem. Here is my unbrick guide that saves aprox. one i9000 per day:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2444308
All the download links are working. Now you must flash anyway any of the stock ROMs 2.2x or 2.3x probably with the PIT file. Be sure to chose ROM with baseband for your region, otherwise you may not be able to use the phone in your country.
