Stock Partition

is it necessary to have stock partition of system=145, data=196 and cache=95.
where 93 mb of cache size remains free,
Can we change cache to 23mb and resize the data size to 266mb?
Pls somebody expert over here guide me

[Q] size of the system partition?

Does anyone know the size of the system partition for both 16G and 32G Moto X? My current phone has 1 GB for the system partition, which gives me very limited space for app installation.

You're right. App isn't installed to /system and it goes to /data. I don't have a good word to call it. Maybe "internal storage", which is kind of confuse too, since Moto X does not have any external storage.
Do you guys notice any space issue for installing new apps? My current phone only have 1 GB for "internal storage" even it has 16GB in total for storage space. 1GB sounds a lot but I only can have 80+ apps. Some app is very large, for example, Chrome is 65MB.

Mi3 System Partition

Hey. I've a doubt. Can I increase both the partitions of my Mi3? 640 MB for a ROM is very less. I want a dual boot. Is there any zip or using ADB expand both of them to 1.2 GB each ? Thanks in advance

Is there a way to resize system partition?

I want to do it for installing recent android versions with some extra google system apps and also for odexing some of them with lucky patcher, i have an 16 gb moto g titan, so internal storage will not be an problem

I bricked my device in doing so, please dont even try as there is way to roll back, I am stuck with a brick

Moto x4. Is it possible to Increase Usable Storage? (has 19/32gb)

I have the moto x4 (payton) with:
STORAGE: 32GB
RAM: 3GB
OS: Linageos 16.0-20200322-NIGHTLY-payton
(android 9)
Bootloader-state: unlocked
Rooted: yes
IP ADDRESS: (Haha just kidding!)
...
ISSUE: It only has 19GB of usable storage;
I Know that I dont get to use the whole 32gb of it because some of it is used by the system and other partitions.
When i checked Settings>Storage info, it shwos that System is using 12GB... 12GB!!

I have also the galaxy tab 10.1(16GB) ; also rooted and also on custom rom (lineage 14.1).
it's System uses 4gb.
I love the x4 and just need more space.
QUESTIONS:
1) Is there a way to increase storage space?
2.1) why system using so much space.?
2.2) and is there a 'safe' way to decrease this?
