[Q] is it worthy to buy Xperia U?

I am willing to upgrade from X8i to Xperia U. If I forget or accept the 4gb memory limitation of U, it will be a good choice?
I can afford a low-mid budget phone, not more than INR18000.

Unfortunately I live in WB and they doesnt ship to WB and some other states due to Govt Duty reason.
There lowest price is 11,500 INR without warranty (seller warranty is not a warranty).

It's Better to buy Xperia Sola.
Also Xperia U is nice but you can't install HD games because of 4gb memory limitation.

I bought Desire few days ago, good choice, im not facing such lags on Desire as im facing om X8 even on JB for desire, so smooth im on x8 occasionaly

Oh boy! No HTC please, they are a bunch of liars. They don't give updates and their customer service people are nutshells. Get a Samsung. Or get a nexus 7 with 3g. We in salsa forum are fighting with HTC. I made a mistake but you don't.

I have an X8 and my brother brought the U. I really think it's a great choice! It's not a high-end device but all of the apps that he installed work great!

General thread for Nexus 4 users from Romania.
I shall now start the discussion with two burning questions:
1) Have any of you been able to successfully connect to the LTE networks of Orange or Vodafone? (Possibly Cosmote and Digi.Mobil, if they even have LTE.)
2) I was unable to find any bumpers or cases besides a "Husa Celly Gelskin287, Transparenta pentru LG E960 Nexus 4", which is pretty ugly and I'm not sure how much protection it gives the phone in case you drop it.
Are there any original Nexus 4 bumper retailers?

Try on okazii.ro...you will find Capdase Soft Jacket from kubmobile user....you`ll see that the cover is very good and nice looking!And about the 4G LTE Signal have no worry...Orange doesn`t even have good 3G signal...

No money for 4G.I'm on Orange and their prices are really high for 4G.
Also I just use a bumper + a screen protector,nothing more.

According to this page their subscription is 20-25 euro for 4G. I'm on PrePay and don't want subscription, but it looks like they aren't offering 4G for PrePay at all currently. I'll call their customer service to ask later...

Try LG Service they are quite professional Unfortunately I have broken my display and I have to change it they have done a good and fast job in half of hour I have had my phone back.

Out of curiousity, how much did you pay in total for replacing the broken display?

Hi all. I use my Nexus 4 with a krussel case and protection film both front and back. You can get the Ringke fusion too on mercador.ro. There's a guy from Brasov that has about five of them brought from the US. Original spare parts you can find at allmost every respectable repair center.

No more than 500 RON 49x something it was not cheap but it is genuine and changed by professional.

And for replacing guide you can try this link.
Personally I think is easy do detach the battery cover.I did it once for replacing the phone`s vibrator.

hello to all,i'm also a romanian with a n4.
i'm not using a bumber bcs it's hard to find something that i like and the screen is not protected by nothing bcs i found them uncomfortable for the touch,the only thing i've made is a custom protective foil for the back.

BTW guys, price has dropped to 200 EUR in germany and 159 in UK for the 8GB version.
I thing getting a new one is cheaper than replacing anything in most cases.

Like always, the new prices haven't hit Romania yet. The 8 GB version is still €300 (lowest price is 1330 RON via price.ro) and the 16 GB version is €320. (It's really not worth getting greedy on €20 and then having insufficient space issues...)

[Q] Will a battery help my S3 Mini?

Hello XDA!
Okay so I have the NFC model of the S3 Mini (i8190N) and in need of a battery. The reason being because the phone just keeps randomly rebooting like all the time now (say if I am at 90%, it will randomly reboot and go down to below 5% ). It never used to do this and I have had the phone for not even 12 months (Around 8/9 months now I've had it). I'd like to think its the battery that is the problem as I have done a "battery test" like spinning it around and placing it on a flat surface and it drops. My battery has 4 pins (not like 3 pins from the original i8190 model).
Sorry for if some of what I have said doesn't really makes sense (haha ) but If anyone has any help they can offer me, it'd be greatly appreciated!
P.S: I was looking at the original NFC battery on Amazon which is about £10 (as that was the only one I could find with 4 pins lol) and was wondering if that'd help anything?

I also bought the 3-pin instead of the 4-pin one for my I8190N, it just losses NFC connectivity. It doesn't bother me since I don't use NFC. If you need the 4-pin one, might need to buy from original Samsung center which will be quite expensive.

Wow so you can use a battery with 3 pins (in a NFC model with 4 pins) and it'd still work?

Yeah dude. Recently i was in same situation. Just go and buy an new battery and use only stock based roms. Higher than 4.1.2 will cause battery defections.
