Ouch. You might be better off selling it for parts and buying another off Ebay, odd as that may sound.

I would echo that remark too. Even when you have the screen, they can be a total pain to fit. you can get into the case OK. its fitting the new screen you could have a problem with. Having said that, you dont need to be so carefull getting out the old screen as its bust already. Try HERE as well for bits, just $3 postage any place in the world.

Jay
EDIT...............Just looking, but they dont seem to have screens at the moment. may be worth dropping them a line?
For anyone still needing a screen then copy this number 110267374129 into ebay search and you will find one! sale ends 13/07/08 09:19 BST

Can i remove things from a dummy phone?

I'm soon gonna buy an used Sony Ericsson Xperia, but the thing is that it's battery cover and front buttons are a little scratched. I was thinking of buying a full housing but soon changed my mind due to it's price(80€). And besides, i don't need a new Qwerty keyboard and camera cover. So i checked for a dummy phone, which has a price of 25€. I was thinking, is it possible to remove it's battery cover and front buttons and place them on a real Xperia X1?
Here is the link to the dummy phone: http://cnn.cn/shop/sonyericsson-xperia-dummy-phone-p-6107.html
why dont u call sony ericsson and tell them about ur battery cover? i did and got a new one few days ago

if u have anyone livin in the usa or uk u can still call and have them ship it to the other address, or buy one from cnn, only 10 usd

I know some people from UK and USA, but then again, the shipping will cost some money. And besides, It's not just about the battery cover, but about the front buttons too. That's is why i'm asking if Dummy phone parts are removeable. If they aren't, then i'll just buy a battery cover from Cnn, as you suggested.
So, do you maybe know if it's possible to disassemble a dummy phone?
Thanks for you answers
Just buy a battery cover from ebay or something.
shipping should not be much dude, i got SE to post my cover to my mother in the USA which the paid for, she only paid about $4.00 usd to post the package here (barbados) regular post...it took about a week
i dont know anything about dummy phones except that they do not make them 100% like the original
Nope, dummy phone parts are usually not removable... at least, not in the way you want them to be XD None of the ones where I work are, so I'd say it's a safe assumption that you'd be better off buying new parts.

The front buttons seems to be included in a front cover. See for yourself here: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/x1-front-cover-p19247.htm

Thanks for the link. Helped me a lot. But, is it possible to buy front cover and battery cover together?
Like this: http://mobile.brando.com/sony-erics...ment-front-battery-cover_p04302c0670d088.html
Just with the soft buttons included?
It appears to me being a f***ing nightmare to change the housing of the X1...

Well, mobilefun sells both parts, just not bundled (battery cover £17.56). I suppose you're looking for a cheeper price and there I can't help you. I've shopped at mobilefun before and they work flawlessly even with orders abroad as in my case.

Well thanks for the help. The faceplate looks really awesome, but i think it's overpriced. At lease in my opinion.
You can see for the battery cover which is £17.56(about 18€?), while on the cnn.cn is only 10.99€(about 8€). It's a shame they don't sell the faceplate tho
Battery cover on the dummy phone is plastic. The battery cover is the same piece as the entire bottom housing.
On the back of the screen when the keyboard is open...those little rubber screw covers have fallen off on my xperia! Any idea where i can get some from can they be removed from a dummy phone ?
Thanks

Glass Cracked (Any shop which can replace in Pakistan (Lahore,Islamabad,Rawalpindi))

Hey guys, My glass broke on from the edge and left a crack till down town. I am from pakistan so, can anyone from PK refer a shop who can get it replaced? I've ordered the glass from Aliexpress.
If you have got glass, any good professional can replace it for you. The real problem here would have been availability of glass due to scarcity of this phone in local market, but you have ordered it from aliexpress. So you are good to go. I will recommend visit some shops in Hafiz Center Lahore, they have pretty great repair shops over there. I just no idea about RWP or ISB.

Well I visited Hall Road and the people there as well as the famous Javed Communications in Rwp says that even experts will take your promise for dead LCD in the process. How much the complete LCD panel would cost?

I bought phone in local shop in Georgia... I contact Oneplus support and they sad that i must contact shop where from i bought it and they must send the phone...
To send then my phone without service coast, it becomes 250 $ only read...
On ebay there is only one damaged Oneplus 3 with damaged cover....
Finding a new housing in good condition will be hard for sure.
Usually when people damage the phone they also damage the case ...
And you also won't find actually new housings for sale because OnePlus doesn't sell parts alone to resellers. Only their service centers get replacement parts.
Soo ... You have a pretty big problem ☺️

Would be nice to see a pic of how bad your back cover is. People might give you cheaper alternatives like using a debrand skin or some like that
Here you go https://www.parts4repair.com/back-housing-with-side-keys-for-oneplus-3-silver/
Thank me later
this is not original
2 best options for you
This is the back cover link from the Witrigs people, very good quality, it is OEM: witrigs.com/oem-back-cover-for-oneplus-3-graphite-black
Or you can buy it on Amazon which includes a kit in order for you to replace it by yourself, here the link:

I'm also looking for a replacement back cover and I searched all over the internet. Any of back cover in the links above are just fake and bad quality product. Not original. Just watch some youtube disassembly videos of OP3 and compare the back cover with the selling ones. Especially there's many difference on the battery side.

They're everywhere on eBay UK. Waiting out for the Gunmetal one though. It won't be long this time.
I don't recommend you to buy them. They are not authentic.
I have bought one from AliExpress and I am very satisfied with it ,just made one mistake. Ordered back cover without OnePlus logo ,it's pain to transfer from one to another,so look for one that has logo attached already.

screen replacement UK

Hello
Does anybody have a link to a good quality screen I can buy in the UK?
There are some cheap ones on eBay but I am cautious of getting one with bad colours.
Thanks
