I need some help with my Milestone ( Cellcom Israel ).
After installing any custom ROM on milestone: CM6 (before the 6.1 & 6.1), MIUI or the FroyoMod whenever the phone stats it will:
FC every 2-5 seconds over com.android.phone (each time changing the signal to an bar + X on top of it ) and have no Signal (no network found).
I cannot go into mobile networks options (as each FC closes it automatically).
G.O.T 2.2.1 is running perfectly fine with no changes after install (installed the Italy Wind Rom).
Tried to change the Band from the OR to both the italy one + cellcom's (ISRAEL, which is my provided) but nothing helped.
I did manage to get it to work once (after removing the SIM, choosing Italy band, restarting and... i think thats it) but after another restart it got broken again.
I found a topic on this, stating that it might be a SIM problem and that replacing it will fix it, but its not much of an option (as there is nothing wrong with it to the provided).
Does anyone has a clue?

My device has problems just like your MS, I asked this issue throughout the topic, but still do not have the correct answers.
someone said that the error was due to sim, change the sim will solve the problem but I think something was at fault in the development process. eg FroyoModv1. EclairMod, Ho! No! Froyomod, there are not errors. But MIUI, CM6.0, Sense .. phone.apk crash again.
hope someone will find out this error and help us.
try to do a full whipe clear everything and go back to your stock ROM, flash your version/region SBF with RSDlite from http://and-developers.com/sbf
and replace Simcard as stated
Well, i will try replacing the SIM, but im not sure that the provider will just approve of that.
I mean come'on, i can't tell them it doesnt work on CM6
as for the whole wipe, ammm, maybe ill try it later on today, in order to install CM6, i must install the GOT2.2.1 first ?
haha, just tell your provider that your sim has been lost and get another one.

Well this is weird.
Reinstalled MIUI, same problem
turned on and off airplane mode 10 times (while trying to fix), moved to 2g and other **** in the mobile network options, NADA.
Restarted, reinstalled ITALY BAND.
restart, everything ok.
had my fun with MIUI.
restart, bad again.
repeating the process of installing the italy band doesn't help anymore.

if you want totry, I'll tell you my experiences.
flash rom and switch on airplane mode, then restart. when the operating system booted, turn off airplane mode and everything is back to normal until you restart it again.

hmmm, that makes sense.
I probably left it on when I was experimenting with the airplane mode I'll give it a try later on ,damn this is annoying!
So this is probably a rom issue... I wonder why the sim card change fixes it.
Everything was working good until i installed Xposed Installer and activate Framework.
I rebooted my phone (Galaxy Nexus With CM 4.4.4) and wifi stopped working, it doesn´t even find any wifi at all and there are some around me now...
I tried to change all the settings in wifi and sometimes i get only one wifi (the one im trying to connect with) but im unable to connect, i get error all the time.
Any solution? i tried to uninstall framework and after xposed installer and rebooted and nothing happened. I need more help...

This morning i flashed the larest ExistenZ 3.5 and everything went fine , phone works , can make calls etc... Was on wi-fi so never saw the issue,
Now the LTE/Data does not work , i've tried setting the bell apn , lookimg if I was on lte in settings etc.
Nothing seems to fix the issue, so before going back to an other rom id like to see if someone had this issue and a fix, since i really like the rom and if posible fix it. But if theres no fix ill go back no normal and find an other rom.

I had a similar issue with 3.0 where I could only get a data connection after switching to airplane mode then back. It was really annoying. I'm not sure what fixed it in the end, but I did end up reflashing the baseband, and doing a clean install of 3.5 and now it works fine. Hope his helps.
I know this post is old, but do you have any news regarding to this? I've just flashed eXistenZ v4 and I have the same issue.
I reflashed again (full, fresh stock .228 install) and I got the same problem even before installing eXistenZ, as soon as the flash finished...

So i bought my Huawei ascend g7 like 4 months ago and ı Rooted it
Then i try to install Xposed its giving error
Xposed says : There seems to be a known issue (''Resources subclass'') with your ROM. İnstalling Xposed might not work or lead to severe problems. Click here for details about the issue.
So i click it, its says : you can simply disable the resources API in the xposed installer settings.
I try everything but it didn't work. Even i change system.prop files like ( hw.themes = 0 ) it didn't work
i need your help please.
try change new room (or version android and try exposer on that new room it might work ....) on me worked just by disabling that experimental option on his menu setting ...the instaled again framework and he working .......i have another problem with my terminal .....i even changed alot IMEI but still canot call or receive calls (rooted, super user , diferent rooms ....changing imei etc ..nothing works) ...but the internet from same newtwork sim is working perfectly.....dunno what to do more

Okay .... So I Got Cyanogenmod 11 (Android 4.4.4) for my GT-S5570I from this thread over here

( I was on stock rom (Android 2.3.6) before I flash it and I followed the installation guide)
Tried it for a couple of hours
and every thing is great and works fine
( of course I haven't tried every thing yet but it's so good so far)
except for one serious issue (which forced me to go back to stock until I find a solution)
everything in the rom works fine without the SIM card inserted into the device
When I insert the SIM Card and try to boot up the device I see the boot animation for two seconds then it glitches (or something like that)
and then I see a complete black screen and the device doesn't boot up at all .... I waited it to boot up for nearly half an hour but it didn't
when I remove the SIM card .... the device boots up normally again and every thing works well again
I tried to look for the solution on the thread and I found @ ivano91bighad 's post ( Who had the exact same problem )
the developer told him this " Try changing modem/baseband "
the problem is I don't even understand What that means ???!!!!
I guessed that I should install a different modem file that comes with the 4-files stock rom
flashed 3 different modem files ... and no good
So Does any one know what I Should do???
P.S. #1: The Sim Card Works just fine on the stock rom
P.S. #2: Of course I couldn't ask the Developer cause I had posted less than 10 posts so far so I was forced to post here
