Thanks, but I'm looking for a solution to remove only the default and to be able to use another different because currently that of emui starts in place of those that install

So, let me get this straight. You wanted to remove the stock lockscreen and use your own? What exactly is Keyguard.apk? what did you accomplish? I am asking cause I am trying to remove my own (or to be honnest just change it). And what's the difference between the apk and the bak files?
Thanks in advance!

Renaming the extinction to bak is just a way to disable the apk

and so ... this apk is responsible for the stock lockscreen? Then if I get a new one and place it there, with the same name, it would be seen from the system as a system apk?

ok. so it seems that in order to prevent a force close you disable it, and then you install a regular app for the lockscreen. thanks!
To be honnest I wanted to know how to customize the lockscreen, but I guess this should do the trick. Thanks again!

I dont believe there is a apk for it as if you remove htclockscreen.apk it gives you the n1 lockscreen.

Right. I did that in evil Eris 2.0 and it has a background picture rather than being transparent. I'm trying to locate the .png it is loading so I cam change it to a transparent one.

no one has figured out how to make it transparent again, i read it was being looked into. i prefer the background as it doesnt conflict with my htc clock on the home screen.

Using rootexporer, just open the folder you want to remove the apk, at the very top, you will see it says mounted as r/o and then a button that says mount R/W. Hit that button. Now you can remove/edit files in that dir.
Piece of advice. If you are truly interested in learning your phone, look into adb commands. There are a few programs listed on this forum that do it for you or you can learn the commands yourself and just enter them via cmd line.
This will only work if your phone is rooted correct? Won't work on nonrooted or leak v3?

Yeah, after doing some research it does turn out you have to be rooted. I'm trying to adb my phone now and keep getting blocked out.
You have to root first.

[Q] I changed provider and the simtoolkit is not present

I have JB XXLPZ and changed provider today.
From the documentation from the provider I need to set things via the simtoolkit. I don't see the icon and can't find it anywhere?
Also I have the phone rooted and am running the TZ 3.5 kernel.
Any hints or tips?

Install SD Maid app, press left soft button and go to settings of that app. Check "Include system packeges?". Go back, then go to tab APPCONTROL. Refrash it, then search for stk. Press on it, and tap on Start application.

Check 10 times and I'm not in airplane mode as I can call en be called. Only data requires some settings for this provider and must be setup via the simtoolkit as per their instuctions.

I installed it, but it doesn't show up in the list.
Also original rooted kernel didn't make a change.
When I use ES file-explorer and go to the /system/app folder I see a stk.apk and stk.odex
I was now able to install the stk, but it doesn't show up in the app drawer. Installed size is 0KB.

Reboot. You pushed this file? And did remove previous apk and odex file of it?
P.S. If you really need that app to open do this:
1. Make backup in CWM.
2. Flash stock FW with Odin. And do factory reset. Or try with factory reset first, without flashing JB with Odin again, if that do not help, then flash FW.
3. Use app for your needs
4. Root phone again
5. Install TZ 3.5
6. Restore your backup.

I removed the previous two files and copied the one you supplied in it's place.
Ran sd-mail and was able to find the stk app. Unable to run it though.
Then reboot.
After the reboot the sd-maid app was unable to find the stk application like the original ones.

For now I use the Wifi hotspot functionality from my company phone.
I need to do the following:
Choose Roaming services.
Choose Selecteer Mode.
Choose Manueel.
Choose International.
Simcard gets updated.
If you know any app that can do the following then I'm all ears

Solved!
The provider said that my simcard didn't need to be changed because it was of the newer type. So the sim toolkit was not being able to run because it detected the newer type.
Then I explained that I still had no internet. She talked me throug all the settings and they were fiine. On their website there are numerous samples per phone on how to setup this manually.
Is seems that the settings defer for some phones. They told me I had to type "internet" in the access type section while it had to be "default" what I found out by checking the phone of my wife. She has the same provider.
After changing I had my dataconnection.
Thanks for thinking with me!

[Q] How to undo a folder in the bottom row of apps

Hi, I accidentally made a folder in my bottom row of apps and now I can't undo it. If I try to remove it, it restores the folder, and I can't remove icons from the folder either. Screenshot included. Anyone have any idea how to undo it?

Pretty sure all you have to do is open the folder then you hold on the icon that you want to remove then place somewhere else or move it.

You have to have the app drawer open when you do it. Worked that way for me. Thought you could just put it on homescreen.

I'm not sure what's up with this. I've had Xposed installed before and have been using the same CM12 nightly for months. I re-installed the same Xposed I had before and it's telling me it installed but not active. I checked the logs the first time and it said something about a folder not existing or something. But I installed GravityBox LP and it seems to be holding. The only module I really care for is Youtube Adaway.

Make a screenshot of the Framework section within the Xposed Installer and post it here.
Furthermore, provide information about your device, your Android version and your ROM.
What did you do to install Xposed? What files did you try to install? Those are mandatory information, without them nobody can help you.
@kissnarocks02 You solved the problem?

I had a similar/same problem. According to the log there was a ClassNotFoundException starting at dalvik.system.NativeStart.main(Native Method) - some incompatibilities between extended classes. I presumed that as Xposed evolved, at one point the developers decided to rewrite a class or two and used different names as they couldn't guarantee compatibility. Therefore I tried to install a lower version of Xposed, that is v

Root partition almost full?

I have flashed marshmallow and I attempted to root but for some reason system partition still isn't writeable... Anyway-now my root partition show I only have 4kb of free space..I am worried that would create an issue? Any idea why that happened? How can I fix it?
Thank you
This is what I am talking about...
You need to flash a kernel to make system writeable. Then, you may also be low on space. If you are, delete some google apps that you can get from play.
