lots of Android Builds?!!

hi guys first of all i'd like to thank every1 working on this great project which will definitely be the primary operating system for lots of x1's out there.
second, i'd like to ask a question since there r lots of android builds out there,
i'd like to know which one has the most features working?
and what is still not working on all of the builds?
another thing, Android 2.2 will be available in less than w week and they say it's going to be 450% faster than the previous build, is there a chance that it'll be ported to x1 too?
sry for all these questions but I've been away for a while and i'm really interested on using android on my X1.

for Froyo I hope it can be in X1 lol that would be great,
at this time Battery bugs are all almost fixed, just camera and GPS now so we can get a ROM =)
it everyday gets better and better, and faster updating, I think we should get a Nice fast clean and full ROM for this fall... (hope)

and to just make it clear, the list of things that don't work are: 1-Camera 2-GPS
3- Either WiFi Or Headphones

clean/glossy difference is just as theme difference... for me only camera and gps dont work, and battery problems are fixed yet, new builds will becoming soon with battery fixed!

Bluetooth works? And somebody should downclock CPU when screen is turning off, and fix always working speaker (i think this cause fast battery draining except CPU which is running on full speed [528mhz]) :/

yep i didnt try bluetooth, and speaker problem fix is coming soon i think..

hmmm i cant take screnshot as my phone is away for repare at this time, but how can say, Glossy is simply black and more shiny than clean version, just try it will take only 5minutes

you dont need to do anything wifi modules are already included

why you need live wallpapers it would only slow down the android

by slowing do u mean really slowing it down to the extent that it can't be used?
IMO i guess live wallpapers look very good that i want to use them

It seems pretty structured and I thought this might be my best bet. I need to put Android on a friends phone tonight.
Is Android good enough to replace Windows Mobile? Is there a better replacement for Windows Mobile 6.1? Coz my friend is about to throw his phone into pieces and jump on it for pure pleasure. heh.

im using your the (guess you would call it a ) theme and i love the look of it, the fact that the wifi works as well as the camera but i have to ask is the "theme" lagging on your device the same way its doing on mine .. if not can you let me know if im doing something wrong.. thanks in advance

i think its just a fake, it is only sense android for our phones from blackstone forum. no new features

any way Htc Sense works great with me ! just if it works slow ! kill all the apps u don't need !

You should think less...if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing.
Is an excellent Android for Topaz (and others).
StartUp overclocks the CPU and phone gets hot (because 3D hardware doesn't work yet?).
I'm impressed with how well the XDAndroid team are doing.

as u now it's multilang so u can choose ur language via Settings and then clock on "Langues et clavier" and then choose any language u wanna !

Well I think that's a missunderstanding. I think by "100%" he meant "it really works".
It's one of the better builds I've tried. Changing from French was a challenge....but was OK.

i have a question.... which is the best desire rom for the nexus one with the least issues...and almost all working??/ please anyone??

Pauls Modaco r23 rom is very good. Dont kno if is "desire" but its definitely sense.

Video not working, Camera is working ok, and no BT.
Everything else is working nicely so far.
FM Radio is also working with IRs Kernel from July 22.

Does any CM rom include gapps??? -> NOOOO, they don't include any gapps what-so-ever you have to flash it yourself

For the few days that I use on the release version(a few RC and nightly version too) and it is also my opinion on our P880
Photo sphere..r u meaning that you can take photo like a sphere? As I know stock CM10.1 does not have it(let me know if it does)......it still provide Panoramic (360 degree) photo... But I will flash and use the stock 4.1 photo apps instead, because only the stock one can make HDR really works and I feel that the picture quality is better.

Except you need MHL.. it is really a great ROM...better control, UI and better response than the stock. I have never use benchmark to test any device while the actual feeling is mean more than this. Also, as we all know, the more apps we install the less performance it has.
For your reference (from Stock to CM10.1)
Battery life.... I can tell, it is almost the same. At the very 1st time I truly wipe off all my apps and use CM10.1... CM make a real difference.. but once I have all the stupid apps running now.. it is just the same.
Smoothness... Honestly it did improve!!! Even I have 100 or more apps installed...I still feel it has a lot better response than the stock.
Heat problem... Improve a little bit, but still the system go wrong (slower or restart) in poor condition(ie. hot weather)
For myself CM10.1 release works perfect except MHL for this phone. 4x HD has some hardware issue, but it is still a great phone for its price tag in HK.

Are you meaning that you can manually select mobile networks? If that is the case, it works.
For the FM radio problem, i have no idea. I don't know y my release version of CM10.1, doesn't come with any FM Radio app. But i do remember some previous nightly or RC versions has it and it was working. I seldom use FM, so it is also not an issue for me.

How about charging issue?
My device sometimes stop charging at 92%, 96%, 97%.
After unplug charger, the charging resume to 100%.
Sometimes charging goes to 100%.
Totally random.

maybe faulty battery. the device measures the mv of the battery and calculates how many percent are left.

I've tried 1106 (light) and 1206 (free) and 1106 is much better because you have more options.

You just have to select p880 and it Works and I found por sound, anyway it's available.
It would be nice if someone could port the radio from the original ROM that I remember much better

Another Comparison - RROS vs AOSPA

So you saw the description - which one is more stable / faster f. e. in app switching + gaming etc.? Battery and bugs are same I guess. Also I'm talking about newest builds .
EDIT: I using RROS 20172505 and I fine it very very smooth and fast! ))

Have you tried the latest update (August)? Stuff got fixed!

for me RR works really good. flashed latest update by emui 4.1.... no problem. I'll test when I'll travel tomorrow

yoo, does bluetooth work on RROS? cuz on aokp it turns on, finds devices, but cant connect, also video recording doesnt work as YouTube 720p 60fps

I don't use Bluetooth, so I can't tell. YT 720p60 doesn't work on any ROM yet!!!

Try AOSPA The best for me.
