first battery life depends on usage, signal , screen brightness, etc
i have one day or two of battery with aprox. 3.5 to 4 h screen time on.
if you use Bluetooth, gps, take a lot of pictures, use the screen reading and writing you will have a few hours of juice.
too if you have a lot of social applications that connect a lot to internet or make a lot of calls.
to test disable all radios ( WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, DATA, NFC) too disable synchronization and try for couple hours.
view the results... I usually disable all on night and have 5 percent of drain in 6 or 7 hours.
you can do a master reset and test for couples days, with no app installation or less possible, and see.
Sorry for my English..

For installing custom ROM - you need root and [Nut] Dual Recovery.
For installing custom kernel - you need to unlock bootloader.

Do you have such terrible battery stats ?
Bro (dzma) new ll rom has battery drain problem. Try to install wanamlite 2.1 if you have n910c and adam kernel 2.1. then try to install boc5 modem(sweet rom v10 post #1855) . perfect battery life. Only private MODE Does not work with adam kernel.

I have just installed anatolia rom a5. Latest boc5 version of ll. Then i installed bob4 kernel which i had backed up on sd card. Good result. CpuSpy apk shows 90% deep sleep of device. I am junior member of xda but i have experience of rooting devices: HTC hd2; HTC desire;
Note; note2; note 4.
after downgraded to KK, battery life is much much better, On LP I got max 2 hours of SOT. and I'm looking for stable custom ROM....

Well, Difference on modems depends on carrier. As i tested on Magti Boc5 is better then boc3. Signal status , where signal is week, Boc5 modem has stronger, which means less consumption. Wanam is very good rom with his adam kernel.
ll just new version of android and after while it will be better then kk. Yesterday as i told You I have installed anatolia rom a5 and install bob4 kernel which working better with super user. And battery life is good. Anatolia rom is unmodified ll rom, it only has root access and some application is removed.

It is Strange for me. If you have aptoide store ( if not search in explorer and install) try find cpuspy apk and install. It will help you identify your devise going deep sleep or not. also try to install wake-lock detector to check if some apk are waking your devise and draining the battery.

Hello guys ! have you flashed Glamour ROM S6 ?
Hey all,
So I recently developed an Xposed module while running KitKat. I released it and users are having trouble getting it to work correctly when running Lollipop 5.1.1 - can someone recommend me a stable ROM with working Bluetooth, SMS, and support for Xposed?

There are many great ROMs on every variant of the HTC One M7 that run well on 5.1.1. My personal favorite is Candy5, which can be found here.
In terms of Xposed itself, as long as you flash the correct framework flashable for the version of Android you're running, (in your case, 5.1.1) then everything will work.
For the correct framework files to flash on top of your 5.1.1 ROM of choice, here they are.
Get the arm version, NOT arm64. Arm is the compatible version for our phone.
On top of this, you need to install the .apk for Xposed as well to utilize the framework modules (this shouldn't be a surprise to you, as you've used Xposed on KitKat)

Thanks for the reply! I ended up trying out Candy and AICP... both are kinda buggy, though. AICP doesn't find my cell network, and Candy makes weird static noises randomly Which ROM do you use?

I use Candy5 as a daily driver and actually, I helped the ROM developer fix the static noise you mentioned. The link for the full ROM with that fix can be found here. It's by far the smoothest (and most stable) stock-like ROM on the m7spr because of the wonderful Candy Kernel baked in.

You're right in that Lollipop ROMs have pretty terrible battery life. This one has much better battery than any other ROM on stock Android. It's not great, but it is rather good once your battery is optimized to it, considering.
For example, I went to a theme park with this ROM and I would check my phone just about every ten minutes. When I got to the park itself, it was only on 10% (reason being because I didn't charge it overnight, haha!). With power saver mode enabled, it lasted over three hours before dying, which is impressive for any ROM, let alone a Lollipop ROM.
It's a fine accomplishment of the CandyROM team for sure.

yes I would like to know too...cm11 used to give more screen on time with blackbox kernel on hotplug governer... with lollipop screen on time has reduced a bit but with marshmallow standby time has improved drastically even on stock nonrooted configuration... if you want better screen on time and standby battery life I would suggest you to use cm11 with xposed installed then use greenify for less used and recommended apps and use powernap which emulates Sony's stamina mode for improving standby time. If you do use it leave android system,WhatsApp ,messenger and of course greenify in white list.
Noteowernap is in beta you have to register to download it.

I don't have the device yet (shipment still pending -_-), but currently, I have a Google Pixel XL and I am running PureNexus with EX Kernel.
Once I get the device, I'm going to either install a ROM I find that is closest to PureNexus in terms of features and stability, or RR, as that seems to be one of the more popular ROM options out there.
I may stick with the stock kernel, but I feel like I will find myself installing EX on the OP5 as well.
Also, I definitely need a ROM with OMS support, Substratum ftw!
Here is a rom(xXx 4.5.5) + kernel (Xceed test) the only overclocked kernel. Some screens below.

Currently using Freedom ROM. With now the Boeffla Kernel.
I Have been using the Ex kernel previously. So thought I'd try the Boeffla instead, as I've just updated Freedom 1.2 1.3 earlier today.

What's the advantage of those over, say, ElementalX?
Stock rom and ex kernel
12 hr sot. With 9% left
13 hr sot
I am on Stock Kernel and ROM(4.5.5)
I loose around 3% overnight (8Hrs) Phone goes to deepsleep, all connectivity off, except phone radio.
Is this normal? Can it be bettered with a dev Kernel?
Please suggest... Thanks
