Got my new teclast a couple of days ago. It's the one with only android. When playing around with it for the first time I noticed that it said headphones plugged in even though they weren't. When I do plugin headphones I get sounds in them but otherwise not a sound. Does anyone know or can test if alarm sounds play out loud even when headphone are plugged in. I don't get any sound from alarm. Tried some apps that should make the speaker ignore plugged in headphones. No success. Compressed air in jack.No success.
Any suggestions?

Hi!
I have been lurking this forum for quite a while. And I got a problem that I couldn't find a solution too with searching.
I was jogging the other day when a couple of girls gave me an playfull smile I took of my headset to chat, and then did I realize that the music was playing out the speaker loud as ****.
So my problem is that when I plug my head phones in the mini jack, the music keeps playing out the speaker, as well as in the head phones. So I didn't realize it before now.
I tried changing the sound settings and only using the sound controller in the media player, no luck there
Hope you guys can help Thanks!

inside the 3.5mm minijack there is a connector that detect when the headset is connected
it's a fysical thing and at times it get stuck
people had luck with wiggling and inserting and removing
the headset a few times
like this just reverse
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=530786
of cause it could be that the connector is damaged
The same thing happened to me because of running HyperGPS.
I tried that Rudegar, managed to toggle the head set-icon on/off, didn't change fix it
try to drain the battery and charge it back up.
Hey the sound through my diamond is not right when using headphones.
i was using an adaptor to plug in my normal headphones and the sound is all flangery through these. if i unplug the cables it plays through the speakers fine. i've tried using the htc headphones that came in the box also and sound only plays through the right ear phone but sounds normal.
This is since around the time i dropped the phone, so that may be why. Anyone now how this can be fixed?
Hi,
My loudspeaker stopped working yesterday. The alarm was on, then it didn't sound no more. Where can i find this part?? I've searched on internet but I only found the earspeaker. Are these two integrated on the same unit??
Thanks,
Kel
Did you restart the phone to make sure it wasn't a software issue?

yes I've restarted it and take the battery out, but with no luck...
Might find it here. http://www.globaldirectparts.com/Samsung-Nexus-S-GT-i9020T-Parts-s/6657.htm
Did you happen to use a headphone before this happen? If that's the case, try to plug the headphone in, then pull it out again. Sometimes the input jack is short and make the phone thinks the headphone is still plugged in -- and just disable the sound from the speaker.
I've tried it but its dead... Thanks

My headphones needed a bit of force to get them in properly and recognised. I think, maybe they were just not recognised the first couple of time. I'll have another go later, I've only tried once.
If I push to hard, speakers take over. I have to move it for it to play on my earphones. Pretty stuoid . Calling Google today since its my day off.
It has to be just right for it to go through the earphones. Putting it in the jack doesn't cut it because it plays through the speakers. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I WAANT TO WATCH PORN.. LOL

ok is working ,i realize that it need to be pushed all the way in lol.
for some reason was not obvious to me, i guess because on my Gnexus don't need to force it that much.
I noticed same thing. So you had to apply more pressure to force it in? I was afraid of breaking the damn thing. I can't get it to recognize any of my headphones but will play out through my lil surround sound system that has a headphone plug. I noticed that the plugs don't seem to go all the way in. I will try to force it in harder..lol.
I need to get some dedicated headphones. Only ones I have are the ones with a built in mic attached. Those won't go in all the way no matter how hard you push. Its likely to break the headphone jack if you keep trying to force them. Ones with mic. attached have 3 rings on the plug. Straight stereo headphones have only 2 rings, which is what I need.
Hello everyone! I picked up a Nexus 6 the other day, and I have ran into a very interesting audio problem with it. I like to use it in my car to listen to Spotify. However, for some reason, when I plug in the cable, it does not always detect that the cable is plugged in, and still outputs sound through the phone speakers. I originally thought this was the aux cable I was using, and I replaced it, but it was still happening. I was messing with it a bit more today and it seems that if I plug it in slowly, it will play out of my car just fine. However, if I plug it in normally, it is like it doesn't see the cable at all. This does not happen at all with other systems at all, be it other cars or home audio gear. It also does not happen with my deck and a different phone (I tested it with my old One M8). Currently, I am using SoundAbout to force it to output to the headphone jack before getting in the car, but this is getting to be a bit of a pain to remember to disable it each time I take my phone out. Has anyone else ran into a similar issue? Does anyone have any suggestions?
