I have the Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900P) running android version 5.0. I have tried installing the MOAR ROM and it wanted me to to install Android 5.0 Bootloader. I went and flashed the file with Odin and I apparently soft-bricked my phone. It said that the upgrade encountered a firmware issue. This is the error message I got when trying to turn on my phone: "firmware upgrade encountered an issue" I also tried going into TWRP recovery mode and it didn't allow me to do that. I'm wondering if I did anything wrong or why my device didn't work. I want to install a custom ROM so I will be able to install Xposed Framework and don't know what ROM would work for my specific device model (SM-G900P). What ROM would allow me to install the Xposed Framework for my device model and version and be certain that I will not encounter any issues. I am thinking that if I install a custom ROM that it will allow me to install the Xposed Framework because I'm hearing that Samsung Galaxy S5 Stock ROM's aren't able to install Xposed Framework for lollipop 5.0, please help me out so I can install Xposed Framework and get all the modules that I had before upgrading to android 5.0. I would really appreciate some help and support to fix this issue. Do you guys know any custom ROM's that will work for my model and version that will also allow Xposed Framework to be installed on my particular device?
Hi
I keep getting this error
It says Xposed not (yet) compatible with Android SDK version 21 or your processor architecture
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: could not load library "libdvm.so" needed by "data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/cache/app_process"; caused by library "libdvm.so" not found
Please tell me how to fix this.
Oh and it asked me If had installed the framework and rebooted, I did and several times just to be sure but I still keep getting this error and yes it is been granted root access by SuperSU
I am currently using OnePlus One with android Lollipop 5.0.2 and it is rooted.
What version (s) of Xposed are you installing? I suspect you're trying version 2.6 or 2.7, which only work with Android KitKat 4.4 and older.
Has anyone successfully installed xposed on the new marshmallow, and if so, can you specifically give the versions of the zip you flashed and the installer apk you used? Thanks go to anyone who can help. I've done some googling but not sure about the versions to use.
Hello I flashed my S4 Mini to CM13(Android 6) And I downloaded the corresponing version. of xposed. But right when I want to download/update, the button is disabled and told something like Version xx installed but not activated Chech the Log.. In Log it told something. I dunno. So I uninstalled xposed and deletes ALL files that Totalcommander found in entire phone. Now I downloaded and still cant download/update but it tells: xposed framework isnt installed. please download the lastest zip and flash in manually via recovery. I know flashing so where do I find the lastest zip for Marshmellow?
Thanks for answering

I'm been working on this for the past week or so. All my attempts at installing Xposed Framework on the my phone failed. In the app when I got to the install tab, it says in red "Xposed is not (yet) compatible with Android SDK version 23 or your processor architecture (arm64-v8a)." Is there any hope for me?

As in wanam's xposed topic:
ARM means the devices that are running arm32 operating system (Galaxy S5, Note4,...)
ARM64 means the devices that are running arm64 operating system (Galaxy S7/S6, Note5 and all their variants...)
SDK22 means Android Lollipop 5.1.x
SDK23 means Android Marshmallow 6.0.x

I know. I was able to piece that together in the first few days. I've tried all the version of SDK23 Arm64. None have worked.

You are not saying much on how you tried to install xposed? Also , more details on your device would help us. Assuming you are running MM (marshmallow) and since this is the note 5 forums , a note 5.
Just to make sure , this is the thread you are using to install it ? : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
Wanam specifies : ARM64 means the devices that are running arm64 operating system (Galaxy S7/S6, Note5 and all their variants...)
and : SDK23 means Android Marshmallow 6.0.x
You should use : http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3383776&d=1435601440 (Taken from that forum post) as your xposed APK (install this first)
Then you use : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591020540824278 (xposed-v86.0-sdk23-arm-custom-build-by-wanam-20160709.zip)
Are you running a custom recovery ? Because the framework can only be installed from there.
Here are the steps :
Install TWRP or CWM.
Reboot
Install xposed APK
Reboot into recovery mode
Flash xposed-v86.0-sdk23-arm-custom-build-by-wanam-20160709.zip (very important that it is modded by wanam , otherwise its SURE to fail)
Reboot ( and wait , this reboot may take time , may appear to freeze , but just wait until you are back in your phone)
Go and verify in xposed app , that it sees the framework.
Enjoy.
This is of course based on a Marshmallow Note 5 (arm64 , sdk23)
If at any time you've flashed the wrong xposed , you'll need to flash the uninstaller (inside recovery console) so your phone can boot properly.

Thanks Roamin64.
it is ok and working on my Note 5 SM-n920G marshmallow 6.0.1.
Can confirm that this method worked for me after a previous attempt soft bricked my N920G. Had to flash 6.0.1 then used method as in Roamin64's post. Thanks a lot.
