Can anyone please point me in the direction of the rom for SM-T580? I've been googling it for what seems half the day now and I've had no luck at all. I've check the obvious sites like sammobile and galaxyroms but all I can find is 6.0.1.
I should mention that I'm rolling back to that version because I've heard that it's the only version that will allow me to transfer rootjunky to it as it's currently bootlocked.
Thanks.
Sorry, just read rules!

HI there,
Trying to unlock and root my new galaxy tab 10.1 (model GT-P7510). I've followed the instructions where it requires to push the samsung_galaxy.root.zip file into the sdcard but when rebooting into recovery mode, it does not detect / display the file on the sdcard. I would appreciate any help on whether or not it's even possible to perform such operations.
THank you.
how to find out if you have an I/O edition or retail ?
Retail TAB
P7510 IS THE RETAIL VERSION
I know, I have one. I am also trying to figure out how to root this bad boy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
There is a Galaxy Tab 10.1 thread.....you should use search next time.....
I've read them.!!!

I've read the threads, etc... I CAN'T FIND a definitive
HOW TO ROOT A RETAIL SAMSUNG TAB P7510.
This being one that is WiFi only... Has no cell=phone affiliation AND
an updated rooting guide that was authored/update around June of 2011 (when the P7510 retail was released)
Different variants of the SGT have been around for a while and I don't want to brick my tab using rooting methods for older/different tabs.
So, I ask the question again. Can anyone point me to a rooting guide for the
10.1 INCH (WIFI ONLY) MODEL P7510 RETAIL SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB ??
And please don't say "try searching the threads"...
I HAVE!!! Perhaps I'm just to stupid to find anything that specifically addresses my question?!?
Any meaningful HELP would greatly be appreciated!

I would like to second the request, and the sentiment.
GalaxyTabHacks.com has an article/video on the process.

I know this is an older thread but it covers what I am looking for. I didn't find that the answer provided in here as the last post suggested was the solution. That video and how to is for rooting the device not unlocking the boot loader.
Does anyone know if you can unlock the boot loader for the non Google I/O GT-P7510 devices?
I really want to try out the latest CM9 image but I also don't want to never be able to go back on the upgrade path from Samsung.
I am hoping someone has a solution to unlock the boot loader for this non Google IO "p4wifi" device.
Hi everyone, I have a Korean-type Galaxy S phone here that I want upgraded to at least gingerbread. However, the only problem is I can't seem to find a firmware list ANYWHERE i look. I've googled it, I've looked for threads here on XDA, and I've also checked other websites and I still can't find anything. Please point me in the right direction, or give me any information or advice. Thanks!

Hi, I've searched around and can't seem to come across a tutorial for rooting my Galaxy Tab 8.9 on a Mac so that I can upgrade the firmware from Gingerbread because it's too slow and laggy and it gets on my nerves!
Does anyone know of any links? If you do, please share them below. I'd be truly grateful
Is there not a way to update the Gear One through (via) Samsung? I have checked their web site and I do not see a new update for my version Gear: V700XXUBNA6.
All the third party links I have found so far show it will take hours to download the file. How can it be updated directly from Samsung?
Are you looking to stay on Android or upgrade to Tizen?
Look through this site: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-V700
It lists all the firmware versions, including Android as well as Tizen firmwares.
I do not recommend using Samsung Kies, as I find it too problematic. I recommend using ODIN 3.09.

I want to upgrade to the new Tizen. When I go to Samsung's web site and select wearables and then select the Gear I can find the SM-V700 series, like mine, but it does not list V700XXUBNA6, which is what mine is.
The new Tizen firmware is rootable...correct? And will it work with my Note 3 which is rooted running Hyperdrive RSL7 (4.3)?
I have about 5 minutes left on my download of the Tizen firmware from a third party site...hopefully it will make it
I have never used Samsung's websites to update my Samsung devices, and I have 4 currently, and about 8 in total (have sold or returned the other 4). The wonderful devs and users on this forum are very helpful, they have way more knowledge than Samsung's website, and they are more than help to lend a helping hand.
Don't worry about your current android version, the new Tizen can be upgraded from any Android version. Iike I said before, I'd recommend using ODIN instead of Kies. Check other threads in this forum, there are ones that discuss how to upgrade to Tizen with ODIN. The thing I do suggest is to make sure you read and understand the instructions before trying.

OK, Thanks!
I found the thread about rooting the Tizen update. I have just finished downloading the img file and going to grab the other stuff and upgrade mine tomorrow.
Friends, colleagues and colleagues.
I hope you can help me in the next problem. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Flat G920A from AT & T. I updated it via ADB to Nougat 7.0, but the truth is that it gives me little performance in screen usage, it would be as long as 3 hours, so I want to downgrade it, I remember when I updated Nougat I had to find the official AT & T ROM Stock that Was compatible to be able to update ie download the ROM that mentioned my previous BASEBAND followed by TO and then named the new BASEBAND.
It was something like that.
ANCIENT BASEBAND? TO G920AUCU6EQCF.
Now my question is the following as I can know which file I should flasehar on my G920A to return to MARSHMALLOW ask because I do not want to cause a softbrick or hardbrick to my device.
