what are some of the best apps to monitor the battery temp in real time since most of us are not turning our devices in until the new ones are preset.
I use Elixir Widget 2

That's strange. Can't figure out why it would be so high. I don't even have it showing up on my battery stats and I do have full notifications enabled for it.
That is not normal behavior. I would reboot it and if that doesn't clear it up, then clear G+ data in the app and re-sign in.
I noticed that when charging the phone the cpu works at 200mhz all the time during the charging. See the attachment.
I guess that's normal or not?
Edit:the phone was on the charger during the night.

I installed cpu_z cause my phone has been feeling pretty hot lately. And the battery seems to be in normal range but the to sensors what ever they are. I tried to Google and got some Japan website. But I'm attaching a screen shot of the Temps.

Looks like CPU sensors. Those temps are fine and actually cool (normal) for CPU in use.
Normally Chrome consumes about the same or lower than screen, but these past few days it has been consuming a lot more. I cleared all data from it the other day to see if that would help. Guess what?

Is it just me, or is that number abnormally high?

Well I think you've enabled the notifications for a site.. like Facebook for example.. head to your chrome settings and inside site settings check that out!
If not try to clear its data or even Uninstall its updates and update again!
Just unplugged my device and this app is sucking my battery. Only thing I did was install FB messenger. Wow.
Looks like to was Google photos young tits up after applying latest Substratum theme . First time I've ever felt the Note 8 get warm in temp.
