Greetings XDA, recently i tried to fix the camera bug in Funtouch OS 2.1 ported here http://lenovoa7000blog.blogspot.co.id/2016/02/port-romfuntouch-os-21.html?m=1 from vivo x5 pro (specs mostly similar with a7000) and sadly I've never make it. I'm too rookie for these bug fixing thing. It'll be good if someone with great knowledge can try to fix it. As i seen many people love Funtouch UI and i think this can be so meaningful for the a7000 community.
Btw I've also found several bug which are :-
1. Dialer resolution incorrect
2. Rear Video recording FC
3. Front camera FC
I'm a big fan of Funtouch OS , best UI for 5.5 inch screen

well, I have done a little experiment with my Nokia, seeing that there is again between the sections of Nokia 6 and Nokia 5, I found that the Nokia 6 has already a semi stable rom of Android Oreo based on lineages os 15
and doing a bit of logic, I assumed that the rom could work on the n5, since the romes of the n6 and n5 are compatible with each other, and it really works, accepting that it has some details, one of them is that the buttons do not work. navigation, the fingerprint reader does not go either, and the audio does not go either, the latter works halfway, since adding the file mixer_paths_nd1.xml in the system / vendor / etc path manages to raise the audio service
and as usual, the camera is not as good as stock or gcam and also brings some minor bug when recording at high speed
if you want to try it here is the link, preferably try it having installed android 8.1 stock

What happened to this project?
Hi guys,
I just bought this phone and tried some custom rom, and it works perfectly!
I have just a couple of questions about the camera,
How can I know if, for example, the google camera port is using the telelens instead the main camera?
I just love to have the pixel experience on my mi8 but, I want also to be able to use all the cameras in my phone. I also searched the 4k60fps option in google camera or im ANXCamera but the maximum setting is 4k30fps.
I tried to learn something more in some thread and i found that many people talks about the impossible to access the second camera through the api2.
I'm honest, I don't have the knowledge to understand all that, so I'm asking you, did you know some guide that can help me out?
I just want to know if with an aosp rom is possibile to access the full potential of mi8 camera, nothing else. I wish I could use some google experience instead the miui but with a complete camera app.
Thank you
Thomas
Hello!
I've been using my x2 pro EU rom for a couple of days now. So far, so good!
My question is: What is your must haves in means of customization, tweaks, launcher, apps etc?
Looking for tips and ideas to get the most of my new phone!
What launcher do you recommend? Is Gcam any good on x2 pro yet?
Does somebody know an easy way to schedule vibration vs. Sound on at different days and times? I want my phone to be on vibrate while at work but with sound on my free-time.
Also, is there a way to increase system default vibration strength? I barely feel anything from incoming calls and messages, so it's hard to notice with the phone in your pocket.
Cheers!
Hello, as an ex-iPhone user I love Color OS as it looks almost exactly as iOS hahaha. I have installed the GCam some videos on youtube recommend but didn't feel it at all. I will wait for an improved version.
ps: I have tried most of the Android brands and Color OS and the one in Oneplus are the only ones that don't feel sluggish to me.
I want to add that I have tested several GCMAs and this one works (almost) perfect in every aspect, every type of photo or video works, improvements are clearly visible but I must say I have not tested really in depth:

I wanted to know people's opinions of new features found in Android 10 which they found useful to them and why/what the feature is used for. Maybe such a discussion may help other users. Discuss, please.
Please, no gripes about Android 10, that's not what I want to discuss here.
Hello @JOSHSKORN
An essential step, because there will no longer be a security patch in Android 9.
The most: not really numerous
- Android auto integrated in the ROM and works perfectly without installing specific applications.
- Dark mode, finally black mode, see too black, not very design, I have not activated it, I much prefer to use Samsung themes with dark blue gradient.
- No bug to report
Less: none for my use
cordially
i think android 10 is smoother, thats my experience
Hi all!
I recently purchased Carv, which is a product (a skiing tracker you use on your boots) that works through an app. I'm really enjoying it, in general it works fine, but the product has known issues with Snapdragon 865 based phones, including my S20 FE 5G.
For reference, here's a better description of the issue, as well as their bug report:
FAQ - Troubleshooting
Improve your skiing technique with real-time audio coaching. Carv uses pressure and motion analysis to help you learn to ski using audio feedback on the ski slopes.

Samsung has suggested the problem should be fixed on their Android 11 update, but I'm already on Android 12 and still have issues.
Anyway, my question is: do you think this issue could be solved by using a Custom ROM? If so, which one(s)?
I'm willing to try it out if there's a chance it's gonna work, but if the chances are too slim, I don't think I wanna void my warranty for nothing.
Many thanks in advance!
there are no custom roms and it's not the feature that tends to improve on a custom rom.

What about Clean OS? I know it's basically a bloatware-free version of the stock ROM, but in a way it still is a custom ROM...? Or not really?
to my knowledge no changes were made to Bluetooth in CleanOS.
