Possible to install SuperSU 2.76 over 2.78? - SuperSU

Hi,
I have SuperSU 2.78 on my device and would like to downgrade to 2.76. Is that possible by installing the 2.76 apk, that I still have in my archive? I guess the binaries wouldn't be affected? Is it possible to downgrade the binaries too?

You can flash supersu 2.76 zip

Ah right. So first SuperSU unroot, then flash supersu 2.76.zip?
Or just straight 2.76.zip over it?

All I had to do was flash the zip and disable updates for SuperSU in the playstore - that worked perfectly.

Question regarding root on 5.1.1

Hello everyone,
I have a t810 running 5.0.2. I would like to update to 5.1.1 but I am unsure because of rooting 5.1.1. This seems to be a bit more complicated as I would need to flash a modified kernel before flashing chainfire root, correct?
But this is not why I am unsure. My problem/question is the modified kernel I need to flash before rooting.
Looking through the forums I found only one such kernel which is from September last year.
Now my question is, isn't this kernel outdated? And wouldn't I need a current modified kernel when I want to root one of the latest 5.1.1 Roms?

The kernel isn't required any more. Just flash the latest supersu beta v2.66.
Make a twrp backup before flashing anything.
Just a small update. I flashed the latest 5.1.1 and twrp via odin, then flashed supersu beta 2.66 from within twrp and both root and xposed framework work fine.

How to root B303?

Somebody out there who archive to root the B303 marshmallow update?
I tried a lot but it ends everytime in a bootloop. I tried with systemless root but also bootloop.
For the P8 there is a custom kernel witch will root marshmallow. How we can archive this on mate s?
till now there is no known and stable root method for the b303

Unroot Oreo Beta.

I have a shirt question, how to unroot my p10? Rooter with supersu.zip provided by blackball for mate 9.
Simply unroot in supersu app?
Or do I need to flash something via twrp?
If yes, where to get original files for my p10 with oreo?
Thx

OTA on rooted P20 Pro

Hi guys,
I rooted my CLT L29 by flashing magisk ramdisk. Now OTA update failed.
How to update via Ota?
Do I need the stock ramdisk?
Thx
Benny

System updater in download full packet install. Didn't failed update but finish after root removed. Again root
So full package will be installed without any problem but root will be lost?
Just need to flash ramdisk again after update?

Hide magisk manager failed - OnePlus 7T

Hello there!
I've installed the latest version of magisk manager and attempted to hide the manager, but it's failing. I've included screenshots, tried posting a log cat but the xda app won't let me post a text file. I've previously had the manager installed and hidden. Not sure what to do.
Thanks in advance!
Well it's a Canary release so bugs are expected.
Just roll back to stable and use that one.

Install the debug version of the Canary build. I had the same issue. The debug version worked for me and I could properly hide MM.
