Hi,
I installed CyanogenMod 12.1 in June with twrp 2.6.3.
Yesterday I tried to install the new versión CyanogenMod 12.1. I forgot to make a backup and I wiped data, cache, .. everything.
Now I get an error trying to install CyanogenMod 12.1 using whatever version: june, september.
I can not use odin because the phone is not detected with my computer. I tried with more computers and have the same result. I have installed the usb driver before.
I don't know what to do. Using dd command from terminal in twrp, ¿how?
If anyone can help me...,
Thank you.
Which Error do you get? Or simply try out flashing other ROMs than CM12.
Yes, forgetting to make a backup can be (almost) deadly...
Whatever rom I tried to install I get the error: Error executing updater Binary in zip!
If the rom is inside memory or inside the external memory the error is the same.

Hi guys, so to the point.
I rooted my k3 note with iroot.
Next I flashed my twrp to TWRP 2.8.6, did backup through TWRP, wiped data and while i was trying to install VibeUI 3.1 (all 3.1 official versions)I've got an error saying "executing updater binary in zip" and path to file.
When I tried to restore old one, it gave me extractTarFork() process ended with error=255) on 4%.
Any idea what should I do?
Thanks for all your help in advance
@edit for some reason Limonchello didnt gave me an error, could it be not-latest TWRP that gave me problem with vibeui 3.1?

Are you sure? For example VibeUI 1614 ST can be installed in twrp. It also have the scatter file inside the zip so it can be flashed via SP Flash Tools also.
Hello
I've installed a couple of ROMs via TWRP. Some work, some don't.
But now, even when I try to install ROMs I had already installed previously, the installation fails.
I get a message "Update process ended with signal 7
Error installing file"
What to do ?
I guess this happens if you not wipe data and reboot before installing. But only if TWRP version installed on your phone and the TWRP version from the phone that made the backup are different.
You van use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522762
It helped me.
I know it was not a twrp error, but i used it to gain your attention. Sorry but i am in trouble.
Recently, I had the stock version of k3 with kingroot and twrp. I tried to change the rom to Resurrection Remix v5.8.0v2. I took the nandroid backup.
I had wiped the caches and data.
And after i tried to install the zip, it showed me, partitioning system or something like that.
And after some time it showed me unable to mount system.
Flash was failed and by mistake i wiped my system, and then i tried to restore my android and every time it said unable to mount system.
During the reboot it said no os detected.
My phone was taken to the mobile repairing shop, and they installled the official marshmallow rom in my device.
Now, i have marshmallow and now I don't have root access, and now when i try to flash super su with the help of twrp into my device. Twrp show me unpartitioned memory. Do you want to modify.
My questions are :—
1.What caused my phone into that problem of no os detected.
2. What to do if it happen again.
3. Now what should I do, as the twrp says to modify the system.
Please help, first time tried to flash custom rom and
already told you the pain.
So, I recently installed TWRP on my SM-T813. I then flashed LineageOS 14.1 successfully, but didn't like it, so I reflashed stock ROM. Everything was working fine, until I tried to install SuperSU on my stock ROM.
Now, my tablet is stuck into booting recovery mode, and cannot boot into the ROM (although Download Mode is still usable, more on that later). Upon trying to reflash the backup again, and attempting to reboot, TWRP states "No OS installed!" SO I tried reflashing the LineageOS ROM, same thing. Upon trying to restore a firmware with Odin, I get an error saying "SW REV CHECK FAIL aboot Fused 2 Binary 1." After finding no answers, I delved into my SD card and found that I had flashed the WRONG version of SuperSU, although it had been cleared when reformatting with TWRP. I then tried using the CORRECT SuperSU, and I am still stuck in recovery bootloop.
Can someone analyze what's going on and see what the problem is?

This has been posted a million times all over the forum. A quick search here or Google would have revealed the answer
You need to flash a revision 2 firmware. So that would be something like t813xxu2 in the firmware build number.
Sorry for being late with reply. Your advice helped me fix my tablet! Thanks so much!

If anyone encounters this problem in the future, and is running a newer version ot TWRP, try downgrading to 3.0.2-1. This worked for me, after trial-and-erroring for a while.
Try this one twrp v3.2.1..
