magisk and lg g4 (5.1 zv6) - Sprint LG G4

So i have been playing pokemon since launch and have had mo errors or bans. Went to play last week and kids updated to latest .37 i believe. Now i cant play "unable to authenticate" error. Come to find out they beefEd up with root detection.
So haa anyone know/used this MAGISK with a rooted Lg G4 on android 5.1? Says custom recovery is needed to flash but i have used flashfire in past to flash xposed. I used rootcloak previous but doesnt seem to help. Any ideas would be appreciated. Or recomend a anti root detection app?
Thanx in advance.

We cannot use MAGISK since our bootloader is locked. I think we should be able to unlock our bootloader since we paid for the phone and it is our. We should be able to do with it as we please......

[Q] Non rooted LG Thrill detected as rooted after ICS upgrade

I updated my Thrill to ICS from the LG site. It is not, nor has it ever been, rooted, but it keeps on getting detected a such. Ever since the update, Flixster refuses to play movies on it, claiming it is rooted. CinemaNow also will not play movies. It gives the code "TamperDetected", which I assume means it thinks the phone is rooted.
I have tried installing OTA-Rootkeeper from the android store. It comes up with the following status:
Superuser app installed: (can't see the checkbox, but there is a play store button there to install it, and play says it is not installed.)
Device rooted: No
Root permission granted: No
System supports root protection: Yes
Protected su copy available: No
Of course, since it's not rooted, the Temp. unroot button isn't there, so the app really isn't any help here. (Unless I root my device so I can make it look unrooted and then see if Flixster works... )
I did try resetting my device. That didn't help.
Is it just me, or is anyone else having this problem. And, more to the point, anyone know any work-arounds? Any idea why Flixster and CinemaNow might think it is rooted? What would an app typically look for to detect a rooted phone?

Having major issues getting binaries to update on Galaxy S5 T-Mobile cm13

Hi, I have a T-Mobile s5 that I recently flashed cm13 on and this is my first nnon touchwiz daily driver. I repair mobile devices for a living and am very familiar with root , flash, recoveries carrier unlock with and without z3x but I am stuck on this pproblem where the SuperSU says it needs to update binaries as this is normal. However it fails the normal way and when booting I into TWRP it doesn't install or update so im stuck with superuser causing problems with many apps including the play store not working as some apps say need root access but I'm defjnetely rooted,. I really like 6.0.1 on cm 13 but random strange unstable issues. I cannot get play store or xposed will not do anything either.. Any help would I would be very appreciative.. Thank you in advance

Help with uninstalling xposed please

I have xposed installed without a custom recovery by using Flashfire but Flashfire doesn't seem to be working without the paid version and I can't pay for it now because the app closes down for non paid users and the only way to pay for it is through getting onto the app. Can anyone help me out with this predicament? Is there any way for me to flash xposed uninstaller without flashfire or is there a way I can get flashfire pro that you know of? I can't make a custom recovery.
But you managed to use Flashfire to install Xposed?
So what changed between installing Xposed and now trying to uninstall it? Any new apps installed that might interfere with Flashfire?

Sorry, I should have added more detail I wrote this late at night.
I have an S7 and I'm using stock Marshamallow. Basically, you can use flashfire to flash the xposed installer zip and install exposed and when you want to uninstall it you just have to flash the uninstall zip and so on. I usually repeat this about once every 3 months to log in / out of Snapchat. However, Flashfire no longer works for non paying customers and the only way to become a paying customer is to get onto the Flashfire app and pay for pro. But, as soon as you open up the Flashfire app it checks for pro and closes down when it detects you aren't a pro member. So I'm stuck at the minute and have no way of uninstalling it without wiping my phone which I can't do yet. I was wondering if anyone knew a work around for this problem.
That's right... The freeloader time bomb went off a couple of weeks ago.
I believe some users have had success with setting their device time back to the end of March and then purchasing Pro.
Free loader lol. I didn't know the app even had a pro version I have only ever used it for a few seconds to flash a zip. They could have sent out a warning and earned a few extra £ ?. Do you have a link or guide to something that shows me how to roll back date and get onto flash fire to buy pro? I'm very amateurish on this I have no idea how I haven't bricked my phone yet. I'll have to put a back up on my pc. If I brick my phone how would I fix that by the way? Just factory reset from pressing the pin in and then get the back up from pc?
Anyone?
You can usually change the time and date in the Android settings.
For help and info on how to keep your device up and running, it's usually best to look for info in your device's forum. There's usually a guide section with stickied collections of info to use.
Thanks, I've worked out how to use date, anyone have a link or something on how to find the correct flash fire apk I need? I can't find anything on Google
You know that XDA has a pretty nifty search function as well, right?

Netflix stuck at loading screen on rooted N9

Hi peoole, today i found my netflix not working on my rooted N9. I can login and browse through but when i try to play anything, it gets stuck at loading? Does it have anything to do with a rooted device? I checked magisk for safety pass and it did pass. Plz help !
Most custom roms include a Netflix fix. Yo could try to hide it with magisk, see if that does anything.
I'm using custom rom based on Samsung's with root, and Netflix can't play in hd + widevine level 3.
Is it normal? What caused it from l1 to l3- root or custom rom or bl unlocked?
i have the same problem but i used the old version of Netflix.. the problem was resolved for me ...
this version is worded for me
.. 2018.10.01 ..
Go back to stock if you can, unless you're a developer there's no reason. Imo

Don't go back to stock, there is a module on Magisk that allows you to play Netflix.. See this thread..

That should fix it.

Meizu M2 mini freeze and drains battery since latest Google Play Services update

Since latest Google Play Services update (14.7.99) that occured on 4th decembre 2018, my battery lasts only a couple of hours even if I am not using it. All Google Apps don't work anymore including Play Store.
When downgrading to version 14.5.82, everything works again but even if I disable automatic updates in Play Store, Google Play Services keeps updating itself to latest version without asking me any permission.
Is there a way to force block of Google Play Services update until a fix is found ?
Otherwise, does anyone can give me an updated guide for installing TWRP and an alternative ROM ?
I am using Flyme 6.2.0.0G. I have root access with SuperSU installed in system. Root access is confirmed with RootChecker. But I understood that this is not enough. Getting root access doesn't mean bootloader is unlocked, does it ? Is there a way checking bootloader is unlocked before trying to install TWRP ?
Thanks for any response you could give me.

There is a post on forum about unlocking bootloader and my tries on checking it on comments. See if it helps. Dont flash twrp without confirming bootloader unlock. Otherwise your recovery may lose and may cause brick.

I started to have this issue on 6/12/18. Google play services used 25% of my battery and I could not use any Google service. (It asked me to sign in again and again.)
I followed this guide (the flash recovery part is mistyped there, I needed fastboot flash recovery filename.xxx to install the new recovery). I downgraded to Flyme 4.5.2 (or whichever version allowed me root by signing in to Flyme), unlocked the recovery and installed AOSP. (CM12 had the same issue with google, Lineage OS didn't boot up.) When I sign in from AOSP, Google emails me that a login was made from a Meizu M6 Note. It thinks my device is safe. It even lets me download Netflix.
I also tried whitelisting my device and allowing less secure apps at Google while on CM, these didn't seem to help.
MEIZU is out of Google certificate.

M2 is out. All new devices released on 2018 are google certified.
About it, custom rom doesn't work. Google Play Service does not work on Lineage Os.
Same here. I've tried to use custom Roms with Android 5.1, 7.1 and it's all the same.
On the other hand, I've got back to Flyme and the issue also occurs, but there's a slight difference. After the Play Store auto updates to v. 12.x.x. then it stops working (error 920 or can't log in). Resolution for this is to delete the Google account in Settings and add it again, yet this works for 5 minutes tops...
