I have rooted my phone just now.
after rooting the screen is stuck at bootloader warning sign for 2 hours,
i tried to shutdown restart and getting in the recovery mode, by holding power button ,by holding volume down and power button ..my phone would vibrate and it is again stuck at the warning sign of bootloader unlock screen ...it doesn't go further than that..
when i connect my phone to PC sound is heard in PC of phone connected....and same thing is repeated .
i know if i can go into recovery mode i can flash my stock ROM and resolve this thing.... but i am not able to go into recovery mode after pressing volume down and power button.
help me out !!!
@kdeepak94 . You can temporarily boot a recovery image by download ADB and Fastboot Files from here http:///rootjunkysdl.com/files/?dir=Adb%20Fastboot%20Files .
Download a Recovery Image which suits for your device .
Extract the contents in the ZIP and place them in a folder
In an empty space in the folder click on Shift+Right Click to open a command prompt
Now in the CMD type
adb devices to check whether it recognizes your device . If so type
fastboot boot and drag the Recovery IMG inside the CMD Window .
The device should boot it and If it boots , You can work on the patch to restore your device . PM if you couldn't resolve it and Hit the Thanks

But on fastboot-online I cant use commands like erase or if I used temp cwm it have error about unknow source or address and they didnt work.
Is my tab dyeing completed?

DO NOT WORK OUT THOSE STEP BELOW and IF you are on your own risk
Finally I can go to Fastboot mode
Download Firmware from ASUS website and unzip.
Looking for file droidboot.img / boot.img
Little bit simple I just go to Fastboot-Online mode and open cmd type fastboot boot [filename].img BEFORE enter hold the volume up/Down (depend on your device, In my case I used volume down)
then your tab will reboot and go to fastboot mode
from there you can install temp cwm or twrp then flash zip file
I still work on how to flash zip file keep some stuck with it... hopefully help someone
Hello,
i think I've broken my phone, I hope you can help me.
I followed this tutorial that you can download here : (I can't post the link because I'm a new user)
I've tried to unlock the boot loader with success, then the installer tried to install a recovery (as the text in the command window said) and the progress stopped, I have waited a couple of minutes but nothing happend and I disconected the phone from my computer (I know that was a bad idea).
Know my phone won't start, not even in the recovery mode. I can hold the Vol +, Vol - button and the power button but only the huawei logo appears, then turns the screen black and nothing more happens. I have also disconnected the battery for some minutes but this didn't change anything.
The only positiv thing is, that Fastboot still recognizes the phone when it's connected to my PC, but I still can't enter the fastboot mode.
I hope you can help me and save my phone,
thankfull Robin
Flash twrp in it, and than install persona's B602 rom.

First of all thank you for your reply. But I can't put my phone with my computer and minimal ADB in fastboot mode. The device is found with the command "adb devices" but it has only recovery status. When I type in "adb reboot bootloader" then Huawei logo flashes up and then it goes back to blackscreen.
I fixed it
I fixed the phone by myself. I'm not an expert at all and this is for the people with the same problem.
I think the problem was, that the phone won't leave the recovery mode, because it was listed with "apd devices" as "recovery" for the whole time.
So I tried to install a stock ROM via SD Card with a tool named au_temp.cfg and the phone actually did more then just turning back off when i pressed the Vol+, Vol- and Power key. So the phone actually entered the bootloader but I got the wrong stock image, but this didn't mattered because after one try the phone got back to normal mode and booted quite fine. So I think the main problem was, that my phone was stuck in a recovery mode and needed help to exit it.
hey guys this is my first time making a thread in this is im really sorry if i posted in wrong place.
ok when i follow any guide to root my phone and before i need twrp and twrp doesn't wanna get installed on my phone for some reason u guys might help me
ok after unlocking bootloader i use adb to install the twrp and this is what i do
1pen cmd in adb folder and type "adb reboot bootloader" and it opens bootloader
2:then i place the recovery in same folder and name it recovery and type following command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" after this it says okay
3:then i reboot using adb or manually with phone with any kind of way to get into recovery first i see this stupid message "the bootloader is unlocked you can't be trusted"
4: 1)then it says press volume up to enter erecovery 2)press power button to continue and 3rd) "if no option has been selected the phone will boot automatically" or something like that
whatever option i choose i either endup in stock erecovery or boot the phone.
im so frustrated that i wanna throw the phone outa window please help...

Hi,
I can understand your frustration. You can use two methods:
01- Switch off phone. Press Volume Up and Down buttons together and Press and hold Power Button for 3-5 seconds. Phone will boot and take you to TWRP.
02- Instead of using buttons, use "adb reboot recovery" it will take you to TWRP.

Aero

Now i adb commands stopped working idk why
My phone also has the same problem ،
I waited for the battery to finish. Then, with a chance to connect the charger cable and playing with the buttons, I was able to enter the main rom
plz help me . How can I fix the boot loader?
Is it possible to install the original ROM on the bootloader again?
1. I have successfully requested and unlocked my 4x.
2. I wanted to install: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-4x/development/rom-2017-08-07lineage-14-1-t3653016
3. First step, install TWRP following this: https://twrp.me/xiaomi/xiaomiredmi4x.html (Fastboot Install Method (No Root Required)
3a. Using version: twrp-3.2.1-0-santoni.img as downloaded from the twrp site
3b. After many reboots and tries, finally get into TWRP. Password not accepted at first, press cancel, get to TWRP menu.
3c. Wipe->Advanced Wipe->System,Cache,Dalvik's/Art cache. Swipe, then get errors. Try again, errors. Press reboot option.
4. 4x OS will not boot. It is stuck in endless cycle of Mi logo, and recovery/TWRP boot (vol+ and power) does not work. Only way to break Mi logo is fastboot (vol- and power).
5. Try to reset phone so I can start entire process (starting at 2) all over again following this: http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
5a. Used this version: http://update.miui.com/updates/v1/fullromdownload.php?d=mido_global&b=X&r=global&n=
5b: Edited the flash_all.bat following this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_osMF9EubhI
5c. Left fastboot mode, device will not power on at all.
And as I type this I realize I put on the "Note 4x" instead of the "4x" version. I should have used this version: http://update.miui.com/updates/v1/fullromdownload.php?d=santoni_global&b=F&r=global&n=
As a potential next step I've identified: http://en.miui.com/thread-693884-1-1.html
I need some expert guidance at this point. Thank you.
Recovery is both volume keys plus power.
Maybe you should reflash firmware as well(v32).
you can try it
download and install last version ADB https://dl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools-latest-windows.zip
enter to TWRP both volume + power. after choose Advanced - ADB Side load .. run it
run command line on PC after: adb sideload /path/to/rom.zip
wait while rom will be installed... press Reboot to System (if TWRP don't reboot byself)
wait near 5-10 min for first time rom startmust work.

I have gotten to recovery with just vol+. Regardless, the phone will not turn on from either combination.
vol+ and power ... have menu for reboot to Fastboot and Recovery .. choose it for reboot to TWRP and flash phone or in Fastboot and flash with Miflash

The phone will not turn on. Not to any menu. Not for any key combination.

you know,, if you install twrp,, the combination key vol up+power cannot work,,, he work if you hold vol up+vol down+power until MI logo then realease.
This sounds a hard brick to me.
Every replies about Fastboot and Recovery are pointless, because he cannot start the phone in Fastboot.
either it's hard bricked or motherboard stopped working after the wrong flash.
i think you should give it try on test point method once as you have mentioned in this thread (do it on your risk) or you may have to visit service center since any button combination isn't working for you.
what is the status of device when connected to PC or on charge ? is it charging ? does led light blinks ?
I used the guide I posted in OP to fit it, though it wasn't easy. Gonna try lineageOS one more time. Thanks to all who tried to help.
I had this same. I saved my phone using this toturial:
and
http://en.miui.com/thread-693884-1-1.html
Be careful with the screen and sim tray!
My phone was 100% dead (no fastboot or recovery). I have tried everything before and only that works.
So i followed this guide to root my Mi A2 "theandroidsoul (insert dot here) com/xiaomi-mi-a2-root/"
It went all fine but the phone was still not rooted. So i thought maybe get the newest Magisk.zip wich i put on the phone.
So I went back to step 11. to install the new version with TWRP but it didnt go to TWRP although i held the volume up butten and then used the command "fastboot reboot" and then it weent into bootloop
so i Guess i am stuck on my Partition A (in my case) where i installed TWRP but i cant shut the phone dont to get into fastboot and ADB says Error: no device Found".
I Need Help plssss :crying:
If you cant go to fastboot then you need open up phone and use testpoint to force edl mode
But before that hold volume down and power for 10-15 sec to force fastboot
The battery is drained now, i tried to plug it in to the wall and boot into fastboot right away, i saw the fastboot screen for a splitsec but it cut off because it had not enough charge, so i left it plugged in and tried to go to fastboot constantly till the phone had enough charge to hold the boot, i was in fastboot for about 1 minute or so (my plan was to charge it in fastboot mode, leave it like that and then go to the pc to change the active partition back, but the pc didnt recognise the phone) but after that it startet bootlooping again while it was in fastboot.
Could i try to got to TWRP with "volume up + power button" ? and change the active partition in there?
Facing almost similar problem like you yesterday.
Try method I post here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2/how-to/ota-v9-6-5-0-odimife-t3823445/page24
1. Have phone in fastboot mode
2. Launch adb cmd (NOT your pc usual cmd)
3. Connect to pc, type 'fastboot devices'
