Why is it limited to Core I3 or I5 ?
I have a laptop with Intel Core duo T7300
There is any way to have the Remix OS Player running on it , also if it run slow ..... ?
I use Remix on my TV and am very happy.
After installation and Virtualisation enabled I get a black screen.
What about a laptop with Intel® Atom™ x5-Z8550 Processor ???

So, everyone
My laptop is annoying me to death because every single time i boot Windows, be it 7 or 8, i can't stay more than 30 mins without getting to Tmax and the laptop turning off. I'm currently developing a game in XNA GS 4.0 so i need Windows for the game to be done...
Question is, can i install Windows XP on my Acer V3-571G laptop with the following specs:
-Intel i5-3210M 2.5Ghz, Turbo Boost @3.1Ghz
-nVidia GT630M 2GB GDDR3 128-bit (Fermi GF108)
-Intel HD4000
-Atheros AR5BWB222 wireless a/g/n (i actually NEED this as Ethernet is already used by an old Linux PC)
-4GB RAM DDR3
-500GB HDD (must set it to Legacy mode for XP setup to boot)
-it's either Realtek HDA or Dolby Home Theater audio
-15.6" HD screen

You can install it on whatever PC that meets the minimum requirements.

Just don't expect to be able to find any drivers. Your GPU will not run, neither will the WiFi, and if you're using a really new system, not even your motherboard.

In may of last year, AMD made announcement of their entrance into the ARM microprocessor line, and the hybridization of ARM and X86.
Long before this, I had wondered if it would be possible for a computer to operate on a hybrid architecture. To task a certain amount of its work to a powerful CISC type processor as well as add a super energy efficient RISC chip to handle co-processing .
This type of heterogeneous computing is being done already with ARM processors using 2 different architectures. However, the two are similar enough that they are assembly code compatible. The ARM big.LITTLE architecture is close to what I am talking about, but still both are ARM v7 processors so not really an ISA hybrid?
I'm talking about an ultra low power, hybrid architecture mobile phone, running an OS like Android, that uses an Intel / AMD x64 processor as its main CPU. With a similarly powerful ARM coprocessor.
A CPU with the performance and compatibility of a desktop PC. More instructions per second at a lower clock, fewer cores equal to the same computing in equivalent ARM chips.
Better software compatibility. No more writing custom kernels for custom chipset. No more blank won't run on blank because of the chipset.
And at the same time, by adding a coprocessor by ARM, an enormous amount of resources can be offloaded to the copro, which means less power consumption, less heat generated etc.
Say your phone had two chips.
One containing a very powerful x86 system with CPU, GPU, SDRAM interface etc. The main " north bridge ".
And a second chip or " south bridge " containing an ARM processor, cellular baseband, DSP , audio, video etc etc.
The south bridge could work independently of the north, allowing for tasks like making calls or processing multimedia to be done on its own CPU; leaving the application tasks strictly to a bad ass 64 bit Intel processor that could run full on i386 Linux or Windows?
Great.maybe the future of Mobile Computing devices
Android x82 based on pie release 2 works good no crashes till now.
My pc runs on :
Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E7500 3M Cache, 2.93 GHz, 1066 MHz
2gb ram ddr2 no inbuilt WiFi or Bluetooth
I used my mobile using USB TETHENING
It shows launcher stops but it doesn't makes any crashes
Till now I installed Subway surfers and hill climbing it did not support .
Stay tuned for more updates

ZorinOS is a stable and user-friendly distribution. I installed it on the laptop of my syster-in-law a few years ago and she has no problem at all. It's her first GNU/LInux distro, she was on Windows before.
I didn't try ZorinOS 16 myself but it has great feedbacks as far as I know.
I installed it in a VM. Everything works well for the moment
Great start up menu. The virtualization is detected and ZorinOS automatically suggests to install the guest additions.
This is to confirm that ZorinOS supports the user so clearly a good distro for new GNU/Linux users and people who just want a stable system with less command lines.
I've tired lots of different versions of Linux/Slackware for the last 15 + years, some are good some are better than others. I've dual booted before, but I've found for me it's best to have separate PC's to keep them separate. Windows/Linux. But I'm running the zorin os on my main PC.
I agree, this os good to go, simple easy, think I'll keep for awhile.
