so i just started using the watch it was gaven to me by my uncle i dident understand why all the programs were troubleshooting or dident work but i figured formatiing would work and im not to familiar with the gear so i formatted it and it got rid of the os now it says "no os installed are you sure you wish too..." so now it does not work before i was able to boot it up all i can do now is go into the recovery download and continue please help...

Ok i will explain clearly
what i did...
Firstly i tried to follow all videos to root custom my galaxy gear when the first hour when i bought,
i was succesfull. I installed null 23 i root it and then i upload null 23 in my sd card part in my gear with the wondershare mobile go application.
Then i didnt like it and i tried to unroot my gear. And i followed the steps correctly. But..
Activation screen which is connecting with nfc or bluetooth, never let me pass. Even i tried to do nfc, it says try to bluetooth and bluetootg couldnt connect. But they see eachother
and also when i try to root again, odi says success but nothing happening on my screen after i root it.
And now wondershare doesnt work because i am not able to reach usb debug mode settings on my gear. Because i couldnt pass connection screen on gear.
Now i really f....d up
please help me almost 20 times i tried to root and unroot.
I just want my gear as like as first minute of my device.
Please help me asap

i tried many times... i found the file name is V700XXUBNA6_V700OXABNA6_HOME.tar

tried hundred times (
i downloaded UK stock rom tried. and nothing happened. like just i restart the device.
it doesnt effect anything
i tried to XAR version
again it is coming the same screen which is connect the bluetooth
but it is unsuccesfull
MAIN PROBLEM IS
THE DEVICE DOESNT ACCEPT THE ROMS
JUST KEEPING THE SAME THING INSIDE.

Also try clearing cache and data for gear manager, uninstall, reboot, reinstall

I purchased a Samsung Gear Live but I can't connect to my phone.
The gear screen only shows "Install Android Wear on your phone" and no displays the model name with the four-digit pin to pair.
Anyone know how to fix this?

There is nothing to be fixed.
First install from google play app called Android Wear.
Then pair your phone and watch via bluetooth.
That should do it for starters.

I've been there while trying custom rom.
I figured out that this is BT issue and tried to fix it with pkgs from other rom but eventually failed.
Reinstall stock rom KMV78Y. Oops... I can't place direct link because of newbie status.

but do not install octamod. use link presented in downloads in that post.
then update system twice with ota and you should be up to date

I have been trying this for a few days , I thought I actually got somewhere till my cmd can't open the boot .Img and system.Img and now my watch is unable to connect to my phone and is unlocked I can't even relock it not sure why
Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help point out what I'm doing wrong. I apologize if this is addressed in another thread, but I've read through all I can find with no luck.
Here's my setup....OnePlus One running CM12s (not rooted) and an original Galaxy Gear 1 w/Tizen.
No matter what APK's I install, I cannot get it to work. Either Gear Manager just crashes, Host Manager crashes, or if nothing crashes the Gear just spins on the connection screen.
Is there something with my setup that isn't allowing this to work? Is lollipop the issue? Does the phone need to be rooted? Is the GearManagerStub.apk the problem since I can't copy it into the system/app folder w/out root?
Any help is appreciated. I've spent hours trying to get this to work.

Same problem here, but I managed to install the latest Gear Manager and connect with Gear 1. OnePlus One running CM12S, non-rooted.

unknown to me, I purchased a Gear Live that was developer edition and would not update... I used one of the tutorials on the site to get it back to 4.4 ( thank you ) ... it will boot now and connect to the phone, but when I hit SYSTEM UPDATE it displays a big GREY X and then says ERROR, TRY AGAIN....How can I get it to update ?? I have reset the watch numerous times and as I say, have finally got it to software version 4.4W from the developer edition 4.4W1.... thank you for any help you can give me...I also tried Samsung Kies to update it but it wont recognize the watch

I had a similar problem once and could fix it using that thing.
Got it figured out...spent 6 hours trying to get it to download the update..reflashed, rebooted, used the tool, EVERYTHING !!! Gave up on it at work as i kept getting DOWNLOADING,OOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG, TRY AGAIN ....ONLY to find out that when i left work and tried downloading AGAIN away from the works network, IT DOENLOADED FINE ! Something on the network blocked it i guess and would not let it download. ARGHHH ! Thanks for your help !

I really hope there is someone who can help me out, because I think i've screwed up.
So, I tried my hand at rooting and flashing my old phone (the samsung galaxy s plus), but turns out, I'm more of a noob than I originally thought.
Okay, so here the problem: I tried installing Cyanogenmod 12.0 on my phone using TWRP. Eventually I thought I got it right when my phone finally started installing Cyanogenmod, but then after a while the installing broke of and there came a message saying: Encryption Unsuccessfull. Before I went ahead en pressed the reset phone button I researched what it meant, and there were threads saying, don't push that button and that I should try and re-install the original firmware using Odin. But when I tried to re-install the firmware Odin couldn't find my phone. And everytime I connect my phone to my pc it says that it can't connect because the thing is damaged. I also tried to connect with my phone using Kies, which also didn't work. I tried researching what to do, but nothing works.
So please someone help me!! I can't, for the life of me figure out what to do. And like I said I'm a complete and utter noob concerning this type of thing.
