CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

possible fix, which also works on S4.
Not tested yet myself
Go into the system/etc/permissions folder, then edit the platform.xml file on the phone itself or copy it to the PC and edit it there.
3. Look for the line that says name=”android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE” >. Under this should be the line <group gid=”sdcard_rw” />.
4. Now, under ”<group gid=”sdcard_rw” />“, add <group gid=”media_rw” />, then save the file.

Its in alpha stage i.e not stable build.Its for DEV only.We have to wait for stable release.

I tried the ROM
it's nice for an alpha release.
Camera App not present
Frequenct Random Reboots(3 in 2 mins)
Process.android.phone FCs at boot.
The dialer doesn't show me the Imei Number when I type in *#06#
other than that perfect for the Alpha release.

Mardon, not an error in fstab. That is sdcard directory without anything symlinked to it.What you actually see is free space on internal flash.
I will first (try and) fix ril, as phone and data are blocking to me to proceed with anything else on the phone.

What do you mean? There is nothing wrong with signals. This rom is basically CM13 + customizations, you don't even have to modify the regular CM13 device trees. Use these sources in your local manifest for 3g and DS

I am already involved in way too many builds, as I said just wanted to see for myself. Will upload the build I made, but will make no more. Lets work so you can build them all, it would be nice to have this rom for all 3 devices

The rom is excellent, a detail, does not recognize the headset and in settings, in the lock screen options is closed.
Another thing, but I do not know if it's a rom problem, an ad comes out saying "google services have stopped" normally when I open play store or google now, I assume they are gapps, I did wipe cache and reinstall those gaps but it continues same. Any suggestions? sorry my bat english

You were the first to bring nougat for ham and you again proved it that u are the first to bring Oreo for ham. Always the best and Thanks mate for the work everything working fine but there are some bugs
1.FP isn't working in this build even though it is showing in my settings when I try to set FP it doesn't do anything it just shows
Note :My FP is working .
2. Some settings icons are missing in settings
3. Minor bugs like some google apps like google plus isn't working though it is personal preference of using apps
Hope these will be fixed.

I was previously on crdroid 3.8, flashed without gapps.Just tested in multirom :-
Super fluid, feels like nexus and Very fast to launch system apps and stable also.
All sort of wifi/hotspot/data works , bt too.
Camera can take pics and videos, but videos are very laggy when played.
Footej camera works alright for everything
FP doesn't work here, but utouch works, though it's a lineage.

Is it too early to ask battery life and sot ...and any major bugs ...what about connectivity and call quality?

I tried in multirom, the ROM's always skip setup when you install them in multirom, so don't know

Installation instructions
Download ROM and Optional: GApps.
Copy ROM and Optional: GApps to internal storage.
Optional: Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional but highly recommended).
Wipe /data, /system and /cache.
Flash ROM and Optional: GApps.
Note: First boot can take some time. They may even loop a few times...

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8 (oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Format everything if you are coming from the Stock ROM.
8.1 Custom ROM Flashing Guide:
1. Flash ROM zip
2. Go to Twrp reboot options and switch to another slot (ex. if you are on slot_a then switch to slot_b)
*Do not reboot*
3. Flash latest Twrp installer
4. Reboot into Twrp recovery
5. Flash latest Magisk + gapps zip (platform ARM64 + Android 8.1 + Variant (all gapps will work))
6. Reboot to system
