I did one earlier 146k.
This is on 3.2.7
Really guys? Is 134' or 144'—ish in Antutu the only matter for you with a new update? What about checking for bug-fixes?
But hey, its probably only me. ?

Can anyone confirm if the lag in games introduced with the 3.2.6 is gone now?
Just a minor hotfix, nothing really interesting in there...
can someone root user upload the full zip ???
thx

They want to be able to tell the other kids that their phone is 4% faster in a synthetic benchmark that usually has no bearing on real world performance, silly!

This one was posted in oneplus.net forum. Downloading it at the moment.
The link posted were totally wrong. It was the OTA, not the full zip.

It's a way of quantifying performance, which otherwise would be down to people just subjectively saying 'Hmm.. It feels slower/faster'.
Sure, a little here and there isn't too important, but it's certainly nothing to complain about

Well, it does say that some people's first call is to check the Antutu score instead of looking for actual bug fixes. But, ya, we all prioritise different.

But the bug fix for this patch *is* a performance related one
I'll download it shortly anyway and let you know if I find any non-performance related bugs!

I'll give you a point on that one. But I still believe that we all should focus one the behaviour instead of an test that results in 5-10% difference in a strictly theoretical test.
Edit: And I would like to have a full zip to try itnfor myself. ?

Try to dirty flash (sideload) 3.2.6 over whatever you have and then install OTA
Does someone have a link for full zip? one plus is a bit slow at putting it on their website..
Thanks in advance

Yes, it's WiFi only, but the update doesn't take very long to download. The update took about 10 minutes to install.
Just read the patch notes and it says it has brought some improvements to the camera, I am going to take some before and after pictures and some other people should do the same!

When I unlocked my phone I had a pop up that said it was from ATT that there was an update, and it had a link to motorolas website, phone updating now can find it out after
Here it is https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/89021
First 2 are before, second 2 are after. I think I see a slight improvement but theses really are not the best pictures to test with but I am in my dorm room right now so it is all I can do haha

Seems to have fixed some performance issues I was having with a few games.
My Antutu scores actually went down by 200.

I am installing it now. I ran a benchmark before I installed this update.. we will see how it does after. I am excited that we are actually getting updates for the phone, now only if JB could be here! ...and root
Will this update make root harder to obtain? And will it make everything that has been done up to now pretty much useless? Just things I was wondering..
EDIT: I have already noticed more RAM is available. The phone just seems snappier. Benchmark results were nearly identical (4804 before and 4802 after). HDR Mode is now an option in camera mode, and I've never seen that before. This update seems nice.
Hello.
Is it possible to update an unlocked AHD in germany (t-mobile)?

HDR I would assume is High Dynamic Range.. This short article sums it up well.

I could disable them previous to the update. as far as which ones I disabled, I mostly just said I don't like this one and paid attention to see that everything I wanted to still worked. So like ATT family map and crap like that
I was browsing and found this article... not sure how reliable the source is but has anyone else heard about this? If so has anyone tried it out yet? I'm guessing we somehow use Kies to install it...

Yeah, I saw there was another thread in the Gear 2 forums (they should probably combine them!). They said the same thing about it being international or something. I read one post saying they installed it with Odin, not sure if that was true but I will just hold off installing it.

I have no issues here in US. I flashed the Greek firmware in Odin and all is well through a normal day of usage and apps install as usual via Samsung Apps. I'm about to try reverting just for shiggles and see how that goes, for no reason other than curiosity.

Ditto... somehow no one has posted anything about what this build has to offer. I find that sort of strange.
I honestly haven't noticed anything much. I did notice that the occasional artifacts left behind by a previous screen when scrolling through my apps seem to have stopped. Other than that no visible changes to me.

Hi guys, there's a new official BTU firmware available via ota. Change log lists s health improvement plus ui improvement. Will test and report anything extraordinary. Personally I'm hoping the pedometer learns to count steps and the heart rate sensor to stop jumping from 70 to 140 in a few seconds.

The iPhone 6 had a very rough launch. Not unlike this device, perhaps worse... Lest we forget 8.0.2 I think it was that disabled our data connections and fingerprint readers.
No device is perfect out of the gate. The small issues I am having with my S6 are more due to Android 5.0 then anything.

Please excuse my ignorance....
I can sort of understand PC benchmarking in the case of testing how a system you built your self measures up. I don't exactly understand mobile device or well any system that is not built by the person running the test.
An exception would be if Grand Theft Auto San Andreas had a fps tool then that benchmark could help someone decide if they want a tab s, assuming they wanted to play that game. The thing is that artificial benchmarks give you a number but there is a lot more then that number that decides if a peice of software will run well on a particulr device (some under our control and some that can not be changed).

Around 35000 on SM-T700 Exynos. I did a factory reset from settings and i still get around 35000. I guess Qualcom is more powerful or Antutu has a problem and reads data incorrectly. I have root and debloated.
I read that Samsung crippled the Exynos 5420 so it cannot use all 8 cores at once due to thermal problems, Since i have never found an app that showed the activity from all eight cores i cannot be certain, also the gpu only uses 6 cores not the full 8 according to what i have read.

Unless you can show documented and sourced proof that what you say is true, it's just hersay. Otherwise the 40k plus benchmark scores on antuntu, is more than enough proof, that the device is an absolute demon.

I've thought that for quite a while. I know MIUI gets a lot of hate, but the fact it is so different is really what makes it popular.
I don't feel like I'm using something different switching from cm ROM to ROM and for the most part they are pretty much the same.
Looking forward to see if PA can step up to the mark this time. Development seems reallllly slow though.
