Downgrade from EPE3 to DOK2?... - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there anyway to do this safely?...
I have an N910T...

Just download the DOK2 firmware and use odin to do it .. I did and everything work good .

Downgrade from EPE3 to DOK2 works on 910T via Odin, confirmed.

Hello everyone, this is my first post where I am needing some help. I have a S6, g920aucu2aof3 and would like to know can I goto OCE. I am trying to get root so I can do a few mods with the octo box. Thanks
No, you can't. Gotta wait for a new root method.

Are you saying you successfully downgraded from unrooted OF3 and were then able to achieve root? This is pretty important information for a bunch of people here. Have you posted about it before? Link?

yes i have sucessfully dowgraded from of4 and of3 to oe2 to achive root, what i normally do is if i am on OF4 firmware i flash OE2 full firmware through odin except i will load OF4 modem on the cp(modem) box and flash it , like if iam on OE3 firmware i flash OE2 full firmware through odin except i will load OF3 modem on the cp(modem) box and flash it

Could you elaborate on this for a newbie? Alot of us are trying to root our OF3 S6's.

Same here. Wondering if it is truly as simple as a couple Odin flashes as you suggest.
Basically, you say flash full OE2 firmware, then follow by OF4 modem only, then root as if OE2?

Just tried it but odin fails at boot.img

OCE or OE2 Modem

I have done the following:
Odin OE2, PingPong Root, then FlashFire OF3 and OF4.
When I try to Odin back to OE2 (or OCE) it does not show a baseband and I get no signal. If I flash just the modem file for OF4, it works but I would prefer to be able to return to full stock. Would flashing the modem for one of those work? Does anyone have that?
Ok
