Flash this file in download link below it will remove wrong xposed file that you have installed .flash this file in twrp and wait 10 to 15 minutes to boot. If you are on stock odex 5.0 lollipop exposed won't work you will need deodexed custom rom to work.

If you uggrade to 6.0.1 official marshmallow stock the xposed will work with root. You won't brick your device until you know what you are doing.just make backup rom and save soomewhere safe like your pc and microsd card and you can go back where you ware if anything goes wrong.

He's not using stock ROM, it's OMEGA. Regardless, I can't, for the life of me, figure out if it's TW based or not. Or if the note3 is unlocked or not. Sorry for the mess, I'll show myself out...
update your xposed installer to the alpha version, the alpha version is compatible with lollipop.
but if you are using the stock samsung rom, xposed will not work.
sorry bad english

OMEGA is a TW based rom, i know because i've used it before
Yes, it's TW based.
So does that mean we just have to wait or there will never be xposed module for TW based lollipop rom on the Note 3?
I have an S5 and I use stock TW (based) roms with Phil's recovery.
I think we both have to wait for Lollipop support.
Hope not to wait long
Xposed it's a must for me
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 using TapaTalk2
I'm using S4 now, but I haven't updated to lollipop yet.
We have to wait for a new version of xposed.

No, you can search for it yourself, just like everybody else does.
it's really a huge pity that Xposed doesn't work on TouchWiz Lollipop cos it's probably one of the skins that need Xposed to look better
dear god close this thread down...
So is xposed working on lollipop now?
Hi,
The default build thread seems to save there is a boot loop problem with Samsung stock rom. Then there is a thread for 5.1.1 which some users say won't work for 5.0.1.
Which one should I install on Galaxy S4 with rooted 5.0.1 stock rom?
Thanks
Yes there's a thread for Samsung 5.1.1, but did you know that if you bothered to look, you would find that there's another thread that's called [UNOFFICIAL] Xposed for Samsung Lollipop by arter97. If the one for 5.1.1 doesn't work for 5.0 then maybe, just maybe try the other thread?
I was hoping there is someone knows what to do. Trying different installer means bootloop and re-flash for me.
You need to have a deodexed ROM for arter97's version to work. It says so right in the first post.

I have the Samsung Note 5 international version which I have rooted. So far the only things I have done to it is flash Arter97 kernel and downloaded xposed. I want to update to the Marshmallow but don't know what steps I need to take. Can someone help me out. Thanks.

What variant you have? Marshmallow is available only for N920C..As you are already rooted, flashing marshmallow will have deep sleep issue...many guys who have rooted and flashed marshmallow have reverted to Lollipop as there is no root method get for Marshmallow....

I have the SM-N920I. So I should wait until the official marshmallow releases for that version.

I'd you have a custom recovery, you can flash Xposed through there.
You would need to flash Arter97's xPosed on a deodexed ROM
I still have a Note 3 wifi only that i use for games. It has 4.4.2 Dynamic 6.1 KillerKat on it. Any chance Nougat rom has been made for this device and could I install it still? Been a while since I have flashed any roms.
The att note 3 had a locked bootloader so there is no nougat for this phone.

Could you explain a little more please? I have Safestrap root with a custom rom on an ATT Note 3. Since I could care less for the ATT part could I install a custom rom that runs nougat if no one made one for the ATT version? I only use this on wifi and it's well out of warranty.
The phone can only flash ROMs that work with safestrap and there are no nougat roms that user safestrap.

Hi guys , I have been looking through xda and could not find a single discussion on basics of installing custom rom on android devices my very first question is
1.) I have a smasung galaxy note 3 n9005 currently running 5.0 lollipop version, I tries to install a marshmallow custom rom on this device but it fails and I have to again restore my back up so I want to ask whether it is compulsory to install a marshmallow kernel for a marshmallow rom or can a marshmallow rom install on lollipop kernel .
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
No clue about the kernels.
Where might I find a list of ROMS that can be loaded with Safestrap?
This is not the forum for the n9005. The sm-n9005 forum is here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3
Installing a custom ROM on the AT&T note 3 on very different from the international note 3 as the AT&T note 3 has a locked bootloader.
