Impossible to do it easy. Is there anywhere to do it for free? Or where is the cheapest? Verizon won't do it because it's not active

unlock
i think the only way to unlock it is to reactivate the phone by calling #228 (on the phone you want to activate) and entering your phone # and then it will ask for the last 4 digits of your SS#. Once it's active on your number, call verizon with that phone and ask them if they can unlock your phone because you're going out of the country. they should give you a code to use to unlock it, then you can reactivate your old phone by calling #228 again
PS i wouldn't trust those sites that say they will give you an unlock code for $25 or however much they charge...smells like BS to me

I have AT & T Motorola Atrix HD, but I entered the wrong code 5 times and now is not the code is entered again. Is there any way for me to unlock it?
I assume you entered a sim unlock code too many times. Where did you get the code?
Sounds like you may have to contact your provider or Motorola. See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1911361
Yeah when you enter the unlock code incorrect that many times it permanently locks it to their network.

Dial ##3424# thn enter 6 digit MSL code, but it'll not unlocked ur phone to GSM. i think you have to call Sprint , they will do it remotely.
That code just seems to open a diagnostic mode and never requires the MSL. I have tried ##data#
##diag#
##msl#
And several other ##codes but can't seem to find a way to get an iccid unlock. What would sprint do from their end to unlock the device?

Any luck getting your SIM unlocked for your Sol23?
Out of 10 tries I have 4 left....
Sim unlock prompts only show up when another carriers simcard is inserted, is there another way or terminal command?
I have the unlock code, but only have my AT&T sim. I was wondering if there was another way to simunlock the phone besides the tradtional method.
What is exactly your problem? What did you try to solve this problem? What changed since the problem arised and before that? If you provided any of this information that is neccesary, I could try to help out
Not a problem, just mostly a question.
Is the only way to SIM unlock a phone the traditional way of "I must insert another carriers SIM"?
Is there a particular app that I can manually run or a terminal command I can enter that would ask for the code?
I don't have another simcard so that's why I'm curious

If your phone is AT&T and so is your sim card. You are not going to get the unlock prompt. Buy yourself a PAYG sim card,( not ATT&T ).. they are cheap and might even come free.. Insert it into your phone and enter the unlock code.
