TBO?
Never mind lol I just read the post above, thanks
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2283828
This is using TBO themed apps and substratum layers app. Every google app is dark including google now. Now with substratum layers app you can make the google apps dark or any color. Not all non google apps will apply the color theme unless you go use their Rom. This is all stock with the adjusted themed apps. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68380201&postcount=392

I'm trying to figure out what this does. I'm very interested. Id like to see screenshots of this in action without any system ui modifications beside this flash file.

I use B Boys work over on Droidforums. Just to be safe I extract the app from his .zip format and use rootexplorer to rename the original files in system/app to .bak, move the new files in place and set permissions to match the original, then go in to applications under settings and clear the cache and data on the app in question. Reboot and voila you have inverted market and gmail. I believe b boy also just updated gmail to the newest one on the market.
Also, be sure to have a backup, even though you are leaving the originals in as .bak, just in case something goes wrong, as it can happen when you least expect it.
Enjoy

I'm working on a black type theme for gtasks, gchat, google search and trying to change up player pros widget at the moment oh and gocalendar and gocontacts (don't like the style of the transparent theme). I'm trying to make them all match.
Work has been messing up me finishing, though. -__-

Ill be sharing them, no worries. I'm going to hopefully have them up later tonight. I might even take requests to theme certain apps just so they all match style wise.

If you're using xposed installer and want a little more theming capability then try this out. Its an xposed module. You'll have to download it as well as some themes to work with it. It doesn't change style of icons really it more or less changes some colors/ windows. Due to the us variants not having custom recovery and the ability to flash a deodexed ROM it lacks the ability to theme what all it should but does add a few subtle changes. I've been using it for a couple years with out any problem.
Its not my work so I'm not taking credit for it just passing it along for others to enjoy. It works fine with my T-Mobile D959. There is a thread on XDA somewhere with a ton of CM/AOKP themes port to work with it. And on a deodexed system it does /changes as much as the CM based ROMs are changes by themes from the app market. I'm using the original COBALT theme at the moment and have used pitch black and HUE themes. Those seem to do the most theming. Those also make your Google now black and SMS and phone app changes a little to. Most every app downloaded from the play store will be themed like normal due to them not being odexed. OK enough of the jibber jabber. Here's a drop box link to the xthemer beta5 module and a few themes I have on hand.
Again not my work just passing along. And I'm not responsible for you making really nice soap dish out of your phone.

4-14-14 Update to the Original Post:
I did some searching for any one wanting more info on Xtheme Beta. Here is the Original post about the module and the Developer that created it. Please thank him or donate. He goes into detail about the apk and theming. He also explains 2 different ways to port CM/AOKP themes to work with Xtheme Beta.
I'm also including a couple links to some XDA forums where several people have already ported a bunch of themes.
Read and make your own decision to use or not . I'm not responsible for your lack of following instruction, I'm just the messenger.

Original Post Updated 4-14-14. Added a few links to take you to the original Developer's post about Xtheme BETA and explanation how to port your own themes in a couple fairly easy methods. As well as some links to themes already ported to Xtheme BETA. I have tried most if them with out any issue. But still the couple that do the most theming / changes to our stock odexed ROM is "Pitch black" and "cobalt".
Enjoy

I mostly use the COBALT or the HUE theme. Those two seem to do the most to the odexed stock rom we use. But lately Ive been using the "HKTHEMER" for xposed installer. It can be found in the download tab in xposed installer. It lets you use all these same themes but you have the option to pick which apps get themed and which do not. With stock launcher I theme everything it will let me. But when Im running the GOOGLE NOW LAUNCHER I theme eveything with COBALT except the "Googlewidgetssearchbar.apk". For that i use the Pitch Black theme. It makes the grey are of the search bar shorter in height than the word "GOOGLE" and the mic icon on it as well. Just like the looks of it. But regaudless which launcher I use I dont theme the google keyboard since i use a themed google keyboard with the top row numbers..

I am using hkthemer as well. None of the themes seem to work the way they should. Battery icon is always really small and looks weird. The signal bars and clock colors or style never theme either. I used to love the unicon app for theming app icons which doesn't work either. I figured after I deodexed everything would work.

You can just download this app from the Play Store HERE and create your own dark theme. I posted an example of the one I made HERE where I themed notifications, keyboard, etc. You can check the OP of that thread too for more information about the app.

Yes Andromeda is required and costs. The one I suggested above does not (unless you want to theme some very small, particular, things) and allows you to customize everything yourself easily, including most of your apps. Plus, with Substratum, on Oreo, you have to run ADB commands on your computer to get it to work. With the Theme Galaxy app you just make your theme, install it, then apply it like a normal theme in Samsung themes. Also, the regular Samsung themes in the theme store do not usually theme notifications and many other areas of the system ui like the theme apps do.

eh I'm fine with the samsung themes right now. I just wanted a black theme to save more battery.
