I've flashed a kitkat stock and accidentally applied the wrong firmware and broken the modern I think.
Can anybody point me to the stock mm EU for the xt1092?
Thanks

Many thanks, when I attempt flashing it with twrp I get a missing inf error.
Any chance of pointing me to the Motorola radio modem firmware files?

It's fastboot image.

Thanks, that would explain it .
I suspect I might have broken something modem/radio related when flashing the stock KitKat earlier. I've now restored a nandroid mm6 resurrect remix.
it seems it's working now except I had problems receiving whatsapp sms verification messages.
Could you kindly check that my baseband kernel etc are OK and would not require reflashing? I'm on xt1092 in the UK with twrp.
Or should I flash just the modem files?

Is it possible to only flash the system.img of the 4.4.4 Verizon en-US Version without bricking the device?

It shouldn't brick your device, but you might find that some things don't work. Then again, it might work fine. If your device is already in an unusable state, you might do this to hold you over until the FULL SBF of the rom you want to flash is leaked....
Good Luck
G'day all,
I'm from Malaysia and the latest firmware has just been released which is the 6.13.707.1 and I've found a link to download this firmware here. However, I understand that flashing firmwares may cause the sdcard to be wiped. I'm hoping someone could give me a pointer on how to mod or remove any components in this firmware zip to avoid it from wiping the sdcard before I flash it. Thanks!
HI there,
just remove all dzdata* files from firmware.zip.

That's only the untouched firmware that I uploaded for those who want to revert to original firmware after he flashed a modded firmware like the one with removed red text warning. And it won't wipe your sdcard.
What actually you want to achieve ? If it is to update your ROM to 4.4.3, this won't work.
If you plan to update the firmware only then use a custom 4.4.3 ROM, then this should be ok.
See this if your intention is to update to Stock 4.4.3 ROM : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55002536&postcount=7644

Thanks a lot for the firmware bro! I'm currently on a custom 4.4.3 ROM and I'd like to update the firmware to 6.13.707.1 which is the closest to our country.

I see ... if that's the case remove the boot.img and recovery.img from the firmware.zip so you don't have to reflash custom recovery and kernel.

You don't have to lock boot loader in order to get the new 5.1. By now is a soak and the only way to get it is side loading the zip. When the official 5.1 arrives I am pretty sure that some folks will upload the entire system image and you will only need to flash the files via fast boot. Be patient. And yes, it will work with any variant of the Moto X.
hi
I have flashed back to stock using that method..but now I have lost my signal..it shows no signal and no Sim card..help me please...xt 1092..

The stock recovery image is intended for the USA pure edition, not any others. The main difference is the modem you flash might not work in all international locations.
That's the only thing I can think of, try and find a community posted image from your region and flash that instead of the USA image.
Alternatively only flash the modem files from your region.
Does anyone know where I can find the latest modem files for the Canadian Moto X (XT1097)? The only ones I can find at the present moment are from KitKat .

I'm glad it worked Keep them backed up, just in case. I actually have the whole firmware, which I flashed on my phone.
Yep, I'm definitely keeping these modem files. I'm running retbr 6.0 with these modems and I haven't had a problem thus far.

I have since updated my phone to Android 6.0 (RETCA), but there's no full firmware for it yet.

Another quick question. I'm on Wind in Canada, but running a rooted 5.1 (RETBR). I'd like to do the OTA for Android 6.0 (RETCA). This is my first non-nexus device and things seem a little less straight forward. Aside from flashing the stock 5.1 firmware, what else will I need to do to get the OTA working? Cheers!

I also tried the RETBR 6.0, then downgraded to RETCA 5.1 without any problems, and updated with the 6.0 OTA, no problems. You cannot be rooted, you should flash all the files in the same firmware (you can try skipping the first two files if you want, but I had no problems with flashing them). Your phone has to be completely stock, with no modifications before the 6.0 OTA.

That's what you should flash.
Thanks again! I'll get busy flashing
Update: worked like a charm!

So to clarify, it's safe to flash back from RETBR 6.0 (24.11.18.victara_retbr.en.BR) to RETCA 5.1 and then take the RETCA 6.0 ota?

Yes, I've done it myself on my own phone, XT1097 RETCA from Wind Mobile. Usually when you downgrade, you skip flashing the first two files in the firmware, the Partition Table and BootLoader, but in this case I had no problems flashing them (it seems they haven't changed between 5.1 and 6.0). So go ahead and flash the full 5.1 firmware, every file, and no modifications, no root, etc., until you get and install the update. As of now, I don't know of a full RETCA 6.0 firmware.
Hello.
Got a K50-T3s and have a few questions, if someone can help me.
My stock version is vibeui_v3.0_1604_7.209.1_ST_K50-T3s (Android 5.1)
Tried to OTA update it but it is giving me this error "Network resquest failed or model is not fit"
Thinking to update it via flash tools. This is the latest stock rom to be applied via FT? vibeui_v3.5_1621_7.62.1_dev_k50-t3s_wc66355725.
Or should i flash a custom recovery and flash a custom rom like this one? http://forum.xda-developers.com/k3-note/development/official-build-lenovo-k3-note-k50a40-6-t3370537.
Or should i do anything different thanks.

Thanks for reply!
Did you know a way to get back the 800Mhz frequency somehow?
I once read that if you flash a certain custom rom (Cuoco92's one for example) it will unlock the missing frequency because the T3S and T50 model are the same except for the fact that in t3s they disabled that frequency..
But I can't find any confirmation about it..

I have exactly the same problem too.
Your link is for the K50a40. Does it work with the k50-t3s ?
Also, I am concerned that the FDD mode should still work
