Hello.
Here is my situation : I just bought a honor 5c in france, from a french vendor.
To my surprise, I received a NEL-L51. Wich I thought was a chinese model that does not support every french frequency. According frequencycheck, or every source I could find over the net, it does NOT have B20 LTE and 3G 900mhz.
However, the seller I bought it from (FNAC) is not a small dodgy reseller. I don't think they would be selling something else than the official model for french market. And It seems that the NEM-L51 the model that is sold everywhere in france.
So I'm trying to understand. Is there a EU version NEM-L51 and a chinese one, with different frequency support ? Did Honor somehow add missing bands to NEM-L51 and stopped selling other models ? Are online specs somehow wrong ?
Eventually, how could I tell wich frequency the phone actually support ?
thanks in advance.

Hello.
Living in France, and having imported a Hong Kong Galaxy Note 5, so it miss B20 (800Mhz) frequency band to have 4G optimally.
Is it possible to activate this frequency band or another by changing the CSC firmware? How to do please?
The only models currently offering all French frequency bands are the N920C and N920CD (Dual SIM)
Apparently it is possible to do it on a Galaxy Note 3 and 4 ....
Thank you.
Not currently. Other Samsung phones that use Qualcomm chipsets can through a program called QPST, but its a complex process to do. You essentially bought the wrong phone.
Also this is the wrong forums. Mod please delete!
Maybe you bought the wrong phone.
These are the bands up on my note 5

i searched it on the internet and i really liked it
so i'm wondering what model should i buy cause i already baught a huawei p8 lite from china ale-ul00 and i was disappointed because it only support td-lte and td-scdma
and in my country there is onlu lte and wcdma so i can't use my 3g and 4g !! only 2g working

Hello, my Redmi 3S couldn't get 4G in Japan, while another Android did. From what i captured, the 2100mhz frequencies was the difference. Though i may be mistaking. So which frequencies does the 4X global version has?
Try using this? This worked fine for me
https://willmyphonework.net
EDIT:
Found this on GSMArena
not sure which model this is though
Your info applies to the versions made for China, Malaysia, Pakistan and not "Global Version".
The global version is advertised with the following LTE frequencies: 800/850/900/1700/1800/2100/2300/2600MHz
Whatever it's advertised with, it may come with different features.. The Redmi 5 was advertised with NFC and in the end doesn't have it! I checked that website & it says YES i should get 4G in Japan with Docomo for both 3S & 4X.. So this is not accurate for me!
Hello, guys. I've buy a LLD-AL00 version of Honor 9 Lite (that came with L31 firmware). I didn't paid attention for 4G bands, I've looked just for the frequency. So, the 4G doesn't works at here (just with TIM, but I am a Claro user). There's a way to change this? Or the bands and the frequencies is a hardware things that cannot be modified by software?
I do not use the mobile network has a long time, but... Who knows? Could be useful sometime.
Hello everyone!
As far as I know there are two versions of the Transparent Edition Mi9
8/256GB and 12/256GB. The 12GB model was the first one with the difference in the storage and RAM and it has a 7P elements 48mp camera instead of the 6P on regular Mi9 models and it has a bigger aperture one as well with F. 47.
On March 22nd Xiaomi released the 8/256GB TE model which has the same camera tech as a regular Mi9 but it has the B20 LTE modem which is used in Europe.
Does anyone know something about this? Am K true? That the 8/256GB model is the 'global' version of the Mi9 TE?
If anyone knows something about this please let me know!
No band 20 on either TE versions, as far as I'm aware...
Where did you read this?
On some websites written in my mother language (Hungarian). They were totally sure about the B20 in the 8/256GB model

Not sure then, I've got the 12GB on order. Would be interested to know this for sure...
Guys just look at the asian china site. In the specification of MI9 TE there is no LTE Band 20 .... so dont do this mistake when you live in europe..... you never can use LTE with this china versions of MI9 in europe .....
