Thanx, already installed in 64bit.
Well, the picture quality, will have to check in daylight in a few minutes.
Camera seems work quite good. Crashed so far only once
Quick charging with qc2.0 charger doesnt work. (Same as with cm13)
Has anyone testes phone quality?
Thanks for the rom.
PS. Tried adding fingerprint from settings, when fingerprint set is complete phone reboots itself and no fingerprint is added.
Dude you know what? You are ****ing awesome! Thank you so much!!
EDIT!
TWRP just stopped working. It can not mount anything, and when I boot my phone, it tells me I have not OS installed... How to fix TWRP? Fastboot doesn't work either..
Just flashed this, looks good so far! Only thing is I cant find the Camera app? I suppose there is something I did wrong. Any idea guys?
Edit: I can see that GoogleCamera.apk is installed, but it does not show up in the app drawer. Pressning the camera hardware button does nothing either. Does the camera app come from Gapps? If so, which gapps pack is recommended?

Same problem here!
I think it's is gapps related as it has happened to me on two different roms

I'm in the process of downloading the "normal" ARM version of Gapps, will update if that makes any difference (I now use the 64-bit package as suggested by another user in this thread).

Yep it's true, I want to flash something and faced this problem too. And it wiped my whole internal memory. After that I even can't restore my backup from external SD card. Be careful guys.

if you face any issues, then reflash stock ftf immediately! oh and if I understand rtimoff correctly you're saying this issue happens when flashing anything?

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][KitKat 4.4.2][HOLIDAY] PAC-man 4.4 [AOSP]
Hey Guys this is my first rom release. I would like to thank Albionman and Android1234567 for all the help and motivation they have given me.
I am planning on making it official and it should be done soon. Any bugs just post it in the thread and remember that PAC is still in Alpha so force closes here and there should be expected. Don't use the gapps in the link as it is not working use the mini modular from the CM11 thread until I update the gapps link.
Cheers
Thank-you... You are my savior!
Sent from my Vivid 4G using Tapatalk
Was going to download and install till I seen the word ALPHA. Guess I'll wait to see if there are any bugs. Was nice seeing PacMan at the tops of the forums again. Miss the previous roms.

Shouldn't it be like when you initially install, wipe then flash both rom and gapps? Or have I been doing it backwards?
So I went and insatalled.
Getting error during gapps install
Installing files...
cleaning up and setting metadata...
set_setadata_recursive: some changes failes
e:\sdcard\romstuff\gapps.kk-20140105-signed.zip (Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Went on to install mini-modular that I used on CM albinoman's releases. Had a sync issue where I had to delete account, reboot (which crashed and rebooted a second time) Added account and all is there. Might be all linked to wrong gapps.
Sweet loading screen
s-on
Not sure what recovery, trying to find it out (black screen with teal writing, using vol up/down and power to navigate)

Yeah what you say is correct. What I normally do when flashing is do a factory reset, wipe cache and then wipe dalvik. Afterwards I flash the rom. Also the gapps link was part of the template and I forgot to change it. I will link it to the mini modular as that is what I am using. Also your recovery is WCX recovery.

Very nice rom WildfireDEV
Had a code 7 installing gapps but when I restarted phone everything seems okay so far sms works but no mms for me Everything else seems fine tried camera and video phone calls had to restart once for syncing to work still testing was hoping for mms to work Still excellent rom so far only had it on for about an hour. Thanks for bringing new life to the vivid
Great work bro :good: if this had come out a year ago I would have put off upgrading a little longer:victory:

Yeah forces closes like this happen and I guess it is to be expected until it comes out of alpha. But these force closes don't make the rom unusable.
New build is up should fix call logs. Updated source as of today
Great release - flashed this morning and phone is running smooth.
Few issues with SD card.
Camera gives me "Insert SD card before using the camera"
Dropbox gives me "Your device has no SD card"
I can use ES File Explorer to navigate to my external SD card fine but that doesn't recognize the internal memory either.
From what I've read it seems like I have to mount my SD card from recovery - which I have done - but when I go back to check it, it's unmounted again. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
EDIT:
Also, my widgets do not stay on the home screens. Whenever I reboot they disappear.

You are using clockworkmod recovery... Please switch to twrp... Then mount for USB... Let windows format it... And try again...
EDIT:
Or you did a factory reset from the bootloader which would yield the same result

I also haven't experienced any problem with the sdcard other than mounting it to the computer through the rom which I am sure is a bug which has been around since jellybean.

I did factory reset from bootloader - you are correct. You suggest twrp - I'll need to look into that. Any link you can point me in the right direction to get this fixed. Thanks so much.

edit:
First lollipop-rom where the native camera app works + the inbuild min free mem. settings - nooiiiice :good:
First impression: feels super smooth, fast and there are soooo many options... like i luv it (first time i use PAC)
Thank you very much & Somcom and all CM/Custom-ROM Devs, you guys are teh best !!! [/nerdgasm]
edit2:
Well after setting all up again (did a clean flash) i must admit im pretty impressed, it feels like the official CM nightly and everything works well for me.
This badass ROM is Alpha ?, ooookay ^-^
However, one thing that does not work, is to change the profile picture but i got that problem since somcom´s cm12 builds, so i can deal with that.

They install perfectly fine coming from stock. I've done it multiple times on multiple devices.
OT: Nice ROM, works like a charm. Still a few hitches, one of them being my camera cutting out after just 2 hours, reboot fixed it.
So far the best ROM with the most options available OOB, thanks!

This has got to be one of the most customized cm11 ROMs on the dev section and one of the most stable 100% better than cm12

I can't say I've had this trouble YouTube works at any rotation portrait and landscape no fc..
My only problem is with streaming videos, tryed to use MX Player, the ROM player and the screen turns green and sometimes reboot happens...

Just wanted to say thanks for this ROM, been using it since it was uploaded and it's been rock solid .Everything works the customisation options are almost endless. I had the problem of MX player crashing (same on cm11 too), unchecking all the options in settings/decoder solved it.

Did the same thing and cleaned cache and whatever... rebooted just in case and its is working fine for now!
Which model do you have? I received my Moto G 4G (XT1039) yesterday and no matter what, I couldn't flash custom recovery or SU with the tool kits... used chainfires SU script over ADB, worked no problems. I'm eager to test this rom.
To be honest, I'm hating vanilla android already. It's the small things, like the notification bar settings in CM based roms that lack on vanilla which really bug me widgets etc are just not the same in usability and aesthetics.
Very nice rom, i'm gonna stick with it untill lollipop taste better...
One little question, is there a way to disable the menu button somewhere ?
I use to have 4 butons on navbar, so one of them is menu, and the left or right or both menu buton is useless for me but i could not find a way to disable it.
Thanks

I've got an XT1039. I flashed the latest TWRP 2.8.3.0 in Somcom3X's experimental corner using fastboot. Did you unlock the bootloader?

Ah, I found the problem! Couldn't flash root, cos root is broken in his toolkit, and tried to flash TWRP like hell with only having unlocked the loader... will try it now as I obtained root as I said thru chainfire's adb fastboot flash
---------- Post added at 08:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:51 PM ----------
By the way: I've only flashed cm11 on Samsung up to now. Is it a piece of cake to, let's say switch to cm12 as soon as there is a milestone or RC? And is it difficult to get back to stock rom? With Samsung it was always dead easy going back to stock with Odin...
Hi, I have a 1040, did you unlock bootloader? With that done I just flashed a TWRP with "minimal ADB and Fastboot" (found with google) and then done root procedure and installed SuperSu zip file...

As I already said, I installed SU with chainfire's script via ADB and couldn't install TWRP previous to that cos I forgot that that isn't possible without root/SU (and rooting doesn't work with the newest toolkit)...
Anyway, I have installed TWRP recovery now. But I still don't know how easy it is to get back to stock after flashing a custom rom or switching from e.g. PAC-ROM to cm12 (as soon as a milestone version is out). I really prefer cm to PAC on my old device, and would like to switch from PAC-ROM KK to cm12 as soon as a RC of cm12 is available for our device.

excellent work. looking forward to get this device.
one question though, does the camera utilise both rgb and monochrome sensor while taking stills just like in stock rom, or does it only use rgb sensor?
wow.. this is just unexpected.. that too, beta for a starting build is just excellent..

Since video recording is a bug now, we can guess that the camera is like half the quality.

The location doesn't matter. Even you can flash a ROM located in OTG. Let's wait for Surdu to answer.

yes because if you factory reset before, when you reboot to TWRP (after flashed ROM) , it cant decrypt data (FBE issue) or use adb sideload for flash)

Did you reboot into recovery between rom and gapps? If you don't do that gapps will be flashed on the same slot you are and not on the slot Omnirom has been flashed

First of all thank You so much for your putting your time and skill in this.
Can I kindly suggest to simplify installation instruction mentioning that is possible to make TWRP stick flashing his zip installer, instead of booting the img through adb and fastboot?
