I have this problem, and Ive seen others have similar problems. The issue is that I cant send SMS from my Verizon handset. I can receive SMS, send/receive calls and everything, but no sending SMS. This is simply because Verizon has locked the service menu and there is no way to access it. Anyone have any experience with this issue?

I know it has been a problem for the G1 to send/receive MMS messages from certain carriers, however I was wondering if any fix has been found. Currently my only problem is I cannot receive MMS messages from AT&T users, but sending/receiving with any other carrier works fine. Any ideas? Thanks!

tell them to put a subject on it, it will work
im on Cyanogen 3.6.8.1...it will work with a subject?
My girlfriend is on att, and that's the only way I can receive a mms from her. It works 100% of the time. No subject = no mms. Its annoying.
I've been having problems receiving text messages while connected to an LTE network. Outgoing messages send just fine and everything else works properly as well. I was able to nail the problem down to LTE when I realized that texts were flooding in while on phone calls. This is because while on a call it switches from the 4G LTE network to the 3G HSPA network. I did some further testing by having people send messages while on LTE (didn't receive them) and then by changing my preferred network type to 3G in the Settings menu. The messages came in only after doing that.
I ditched my '13 Moto X for a One M8 last year because of a similar issue so it seems to be a problem specific to Moto, though it obviously is not a widespread issue. I'm not rooted or anything. I don't have any apps installed that could be messing with it.
I'm not sure where to go from here. Does anybody have any ideas? I turned LTE off a couple weeks ago and it isn't ideal.
my nexus 6 does not make or receive calls or send sms, appears "call terminated" when I call someone, have a dial tone, but only sends sms when the 4G signal is active, do not know if the phone isblocked by US carriers already tried to flash rom stock and customs but not solved, radios and other experienced neither, the strange thing is qie it only the signal in the VIVO operator in others onlythe other only shows "no service, only emergency call" I do not know what to do :crying:
Received my OnePlus 3T yesterday. Love the phone and all seems to be working well. The only problem I'm having is with MMS. I've tried two different texting programs (Chomp and Android Messages) and neither can send or receive a photo.
The APN was set up correctly by default. I also tried creating an APN with the same settings and still doesn't work. Also, my APN settings perfectly match the APN settings on my wife's Honor 8 phone -- she can send and receive MMS but I can't.
Finally, I called my carrier (Telus / Canada) and we went through the settings one at a time and confirmed all is well. They were stumped. Since it is not a Telus purchased phone, there wasn't anything else they could do.
Any thoughts on what could be causing problems with sending / receiving pictures with MMS? Anybody else having this problem?
Help is appreciated -- thanks!
Hello!
I can not receive messages, to fix that I need to switch sim slots for me to receive messages again but it will just reoccur after a few hours then I need to switch again.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Have you tried forcing your phone to stay only on 3G/H/H+ network? I'm experimenting something like you, but in my case, it's related to my carrier.
