I have searched the forum and found a lot of references to voice dialling and a few apps which are meant to get this working, I have tried installing all of them and think I have followed all the instructions installed True Contacts (even though I am not sure why) but with no progress.
Maybe I am missing something. So when I click on the Google Voice app and say "Call {Contact Name}" it says "Calling {Contact Name} main|mobile|home" I am also taken to the standard google screen which correctly show the contact from my google contact list but nothing happens, I click on the little phone icon and it seems to try and dial again but nothing happens.
It seems clear to me it doesn't know what the dialer is it should be opening, so do I need to tweak or modify something or do I need to install something. The built in bluetooth app works fine with manual input.
FYI I am running Android 5.1.1 (Malaysk ROM)
At his point I would take a yes no answer to if you have it working or not, so I have added a poll. Don't feel if you haven't got it working its not worth answering, any feedback at this point will help me decide if I should be looking outside this forum for answers or not to bother at all
It is possible, you need an xposed module, mtcService. Set that as your dialer and it should work as far as im aware.

Thanks for your response Dec64, this is certainly a piece of the puzzle, I am not sure I have all the pieces yet. I already have installed the Malaysk xposed ROM. I looked for mtcService in the module downloads but can't seem to find it so I downloaded from the link you provided but it fails to install for some reason which it doesn't detail it just says App not installed. Any ideas? Thanks Again

From what i recall, MTCService was already installed on Malaysk's rom, but it wasn't updated to work fully with MTCD, the link i gave you is an edited version from dsa in another thread who fixed it to work with MTCD. You may need to find/check if MTCService is installed already on your system and uninstall it, before installing the version from the link i gave you.

Thanks again Dec64. I used adb to backup and uninstall mtcservice and then install the new one you made available. It not works perfectly voice dialling from google voice search and no need for "true contacts".

Hi all, i am on my s4(verizon) and have just successfully installed hyperdrive rom(version:16) which is currently 4.4
Anyway, xposed installer comes integrated in the ROM, and when i try to update it by pressing the install/update it doesn't do anything.
when i try to do this manually, i get an error: (refer to screenshot)
This also applies to the App Settings Module
The reason i discovered this is when i tried to use a module it stated that my xposed bridge wasn't updated.
Any Ideas On How To Fix?

That's the problem. You have to uninstall the preinstalled version first. For help, please use the ROM's thread.

Hello Everyone. I came across these on a different section of XDA, and figured I would repost! Huge thanks to Lukijs for posting these.

These are all from Lollipop. I have them all running on Bad Boyz Rom.
Edit: I thought these were signed because they installed just fine on my device. It would seem I was wrong. You will have to uninstall the original and install this to get it up and running in some cases.
Any way to confirm these are safe? I'm getting an error about "conflicting signature".

As far as I know they were pulled from the Lollipop build, but other than that, no. I have them installed on my device and they are running great. I think they have a conflicting sig to keep unrooted peeps from installing. you will have to uninstall the old app and install this one to get it up and running. I believe you had to do the same w/ the keyboard app too.

OK, sorry it took so long to respond. Not sure why it worked for me. I did install the email app as well. What version is your Google Services. I am on 6.1.83. Make sure you install the exchange services too. Since Gmail has exchange support you will need it! Hope that helps!
Edit: I would also mention I am on Bad Boyz ROM
Hi everyone!
I have a rooted Z3C and it is a fantastic phone, I love it. The problem is that I bought a television sport service that includes the possibility to watch games on your phone, it's called Bein Sport. This app is able to detect root and refuse to play any videos so the service I bought becomes kind of useless
The worst part is that I don't want to mess around, just want to watch games on my phone and use the service for what it was thought. Si I thought i'd give a shout here, has anyone been able to bypass that annoying feature? I don't even understand why they don't like rooted phone
thanks!

There is an Xposed module for masking root on your phone, not sure if it will work or not. There is another Xposed app that offers help as well.
Installing Xposed can sometimes be tricky, make sure you find the right arm zip or you could be facing bootloops.
The place to start if you want to go down that road is here

Hey Steve, thanks for answering. I am willing to try your solution so I read the page you showed me to install Xposed. I downloaded the last version of the ARM (note arm64, or x86), should I boot into recovery and flash it now? I reaaally don't want to mess up and have to reinstall it all! Is the Z3C part of the phones that have problems with Xposed? cheers!

I use Xposed, it's very popular and works fine on the Z3c. I think the emphasis is to read about it before you do it, as many people rush in, go to downloads, install the one with the latest build number and then come crying to the forum about bootloops.
The fact that you have read ahead on the page before you did anything assures me that you won't mess it up :good:
If it reassures you, I am using xposed-v80-sdk22-arm.zip on a 5.1.1. build. But there are more recent versions out now, although I don't know what the advantages of using those are. Perhaps later versions cover the use of MM. Can anybody enlighten me on that?
Edit: Once you have flashed the installer in recovery, restart the phone and then install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
With that installed and running you can find the modules and install them.
Each install or change of settings requires a restart.

Yep, installed, up do date, and some apps even use my root without any issues
If anyone comes here, here is what happened to me: I tried to install Xposed to try this trick but my phone would'nt falsh because it couldn't mount /system. I assumed that it was a problem with partitions. I tried deleting root manually but the app always found root even when I wasn't rooted anymore (beware, this app is pretty smart). I ended up having to go back to stock which sucks because the battery is really bad in comparison, but anyway I can watch football! Cheers

rootcloak im unsure as i have uninstalled it (didnt need it) and xtouchwiz i hacent retried. something (maybe a setting in xtouchwiz) was giving me some sim card pop up that wouodnt go away on boot and wouod make me reboot to recovery to do something to ky sim that just failed and the pop up would be there upon boot. i had to odin to get rid of it. it happened 3 times and each time it happened i had rootcloak and xtouchwiz installed. since removing both i hacent had a problem. so no i didnt and i believe one of them caused the problem. if anyone is using both or one or the other let me know what you do and dont have enabled or disabled in each module.

Hi, actually I tried your previous post on extreme bloatware removal and ended up with not able to install apks. Even tried side loading via adb. But some required service has been included in your list which caused the apks not installed. I checked with two other devices and same happened. Could you please confirm if it's rectified in this updated one.

Thanks for reporting,
I personally can still install the apks without problems. I didn't need to try adb sideload. otherwise I would not have loaded the list. Anyway I will in these days identify the package involved and make it visible. It was a feature that I personally don't use much based on my configuration. In any case, I repeat, you did well to report it. I will provide to insert it on the thread.

Thanks mate, and I give you a little advice about unlocking the bootloader: it gave me an unlock error even though I never unplugged the Mi account from the device and it was all hours past. With the latest version of the MiUnlock it gave me an unlock error despite everything being in order. I solved by installing version 2.2.624.14. I'll tell you just in case :fingers-crossed:

Because as i said, this is a Debloat, i use third party apps for my personal configuration. especially in packages like in this case "calendar"; it is not difficult to guess that doing a debloat eliminates a related service. That's why I always say to make a backup.
Except that removing the calendar provider doesn't allow the google calendar app to work (the play store version, not the one installed by default). It is completely unnecessary to remove it (again, the provider, not the app) and I wouldn't consider it bloatware at all.
I recommend you to use this https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f1/how-to/tool-xiaomi-adb-fastboot-tools-t3887359

It's better and make you easily to debloat or do any adb/fastboot needed. :fingers-crossed:
