Just updated to 1.4.02 Always On Display. Still exploring the new features.
Looks like new displays, the ability to change colors on most if not all, more backgrounds... not sure about notifications yet...

Doesn't appear that third party notifications are working in this release, even after allowing AOD to read notifications.
I found this feature by accident. Had no idea it had come through an update. I was like, "Was this always here and I totally missed it?
I like being able to choose a picture.

First of all, hello everyone! I recently got the HTC one m8 as an upgrade from the galaxy nexus. (This phone is so amazing, Jesus help me lmao) coming from a nexus, flashing and things are pretty normal for me. I know most terminology and I've already got this thing rooted and s-off'ed so I can fix the issues I did have with the phone (like the millions of system status icons in the status bar with no room for my notifications) . I can't get enough of this phone lol.
Anyway, into the small issue I have.
Contacts that don't have pictures are linked to my Facebook contacts.
In other texting apps (i don't like stock app for very nitpicky reasons) contacts that are linked don't show pictures, is there a way to fix this? Aside from downloading everyone's picture.

Hello, I have a Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N960U) with the ATT CSC's ROM and I have the problem that all the time (except if notifications come) the name of my network company comes out, I would like to see if you know any way to make it only show on the lock screen and not always I have it turned on. Maybe they've updated QuickStar to support this functionality again.
I use good lock with i guess quick star and remove the AT&T THINGY.

It seems inactive and does not turn the screen on for notifications (tested just for SMS), but reporting it back here is what we do!
This is interesting. I've always wanted this feature and was annoyed 'lesser' devices got it. Have you had any luck getting it activated?

That was something which I found I liked that much just when it was gone!
I'm not a developer or code analyst by no means. It was a report back to hope someone finds it useful.

Looks like an icon for a Color Picker. Where is the icon shown?
It is probably related to Pen Up app, which I have deleted...
It's on every app I use and I have to constantly move it around to use all my apps. It's locked in place and I can't get rid of it. It's very annoying.

It didn't start this until I updated to the new UI 4 software
Problem solved. Thank-you for your response. This icon option is in the accessibility button option.
